The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

I was here in Feb2025 to see a cover band. 5 minutes after leaving , i realised i lost my phone. I jogged back praying that my phone was in the pub. Spoke to the staff and was over the moon to find that my phone had been handed in after i dropped it. Fantastic honest staff and clients in this pub. One phone, with bank cards and cash returned . I am super grateful to all involved. bless them

**THIS VENUE HAS SHUT DOWN PLEASE STOP ORDERING FROM THEM** This place shut a few months ago for renovation and hasn't opened since. However their site appears to still be taking orders in error. The below is my initial review of the place from a while ago; Rated 1 star for Atmosphere only because I have only ever had takeaway from this venue so i couldnt say! The food is always brilliant I have never had a bad meal from there and now won't order curry from anywhere else now. The portions are always generous and they will occasionally add complimentary poppadoms and chutneys with orders. Thoroughly recommended.

Ordered takeaway for the first time for along time from here,went for the set meal c , the soup was the best part. then everything else went down hill from there Ribs were dry and over cooked, sweet n sour chicken was pasty and the sauce tasted like cleaning chemicals, beef was ok but more veg than meat ,chicken n pineapple looked and tasted synthetic not happy as i might aswell put £35 in the food waste bin as that's were it ended up......

Yet another restaurant that can’t deal with the Just Eat orders. Terrible service whilst sat in restaurant, hour and half wait for food then it wasn’t very tasty.

Wouldn't bother getting Indian delivered, ordered food through Just Eat, proceeded to call me 50 minutes after the order. I was in the shower so didn't answer, they cancelled the order. After calling, it was because they couldn't deliver, great.

this is the old school pakistani restaurant love the foods here amazing fresh and very nice and friendly owner. the tandoori chicken is 110% Fantastic it taste like old traditional how it was in the 80s 90s. their biryani is also amazingly so good like the tandoori chicken.

Delicious food with halal and vegetarian options, lovely staff, and clean seating downstairs, highly recommend!

I found Shahi Tandoori in Grange Road completely by accident during lockdown and have been ordering takeaway ever since (and as often as once a week!) because the quality of the dishes are top notch - especially the Persian menu, the saag aloo and the papadums (that can often be so disappointingly stale and taste of cheap oil but are done here to a crispy crunchy perfection). When you phone them they are always happy to give you advice, talk you through the menu and help you experiment beyond your tried and tested favourites and the delivery guys are so friendly you feel you have become one of the family. I couldn't be more pleased to have found them and wish them all the very best in surviving this pandemic! Sofie

Thank you to all the staff who served us, even though we arrived close to closing time. We really appreciate the warm service despite the late hour. A special thanks to the girl who served us — she was absolutely amazing! Her friendly attitude and professionalism made our visit even better.

Lovely authentic family-run Thai restaurant! Food was full of flavour, curries were the perfect blend of spice and creaminess. Recently moved to the area and will be making this my go-to Thai spot.

Late in the evening nearly closing the guys did a wonderful job. Daigi Lamb was great soft, really tasty...

The landlady said with a face, since it's a buffet, please do your business well, but if you don't want to serve food, why should you open a buffet? Isn’t it enough to just cook your Chinese food well, why not use this as a means of attracting traffic? Why, just be nice to foreigners and show off to your own compatriots, have you forgotten your roots after immigrating for so long? By the way, we took a taxi there, which is ironic. No wonder business is not good, I can’t do service industry
