Ordered a takeaway via UberEats and it was an utter shambles. The order was missing a rice and instead of the cheese naan they provided a stale, dry plain naan. The keema naan quite literally didn't contain any keema meat and arrived torn. The curries we ordered were very disappointing- bland, oily and alarmingly gritty. Portions were small (which was a blessing given how crap the food tasted). We called the restaurant to advise that some of our order was missing and the man on the end of the phone was unpleasant and aggressive and accused us of lying about the missing items. There are far better Indians in Cathays/Roath and I would not recommend ordering from here.

Awful customer service. Missing items. Bland food.

First time ordering and food was lovely and will order again. One small thing, I ordered and paid for Fried Rice but you send me standard Pilau Rice. It was still nice, but not what I ordered.

My friends and I ordered from Baltic King, not was I missing items from my order but my food was clearly microwaved a minute before selling it. The butter chicken was so sweet, soggy and oily. The naan bread was hard like it was lying there for the whole day. We were not impressed at all, waste of our money.

Didn’t receive a specific dish I wanted. I ordered Lamb but instead was given chicken and still charged for the lamb.

It’s always nice but ordering for a specific time doesn’t work

Excellent food and service as always! Definitely recommend for a night in with friends or family.

Exceptional value for money and generous portion sizes too. My only minor point would be the quality of the naan, which tasted a bit processed. All in all a great choice and would certainly use again.

First time ordering! We struggled to find a decent Indian takeaway, driver was friendly, food was piping hot, poppadoms still warm and the order was absolutely delicious! Would defo recommend and will be ordering again!

Almost 2hrs I waited for my order to be delivered, on calling Balti King they told me to give the driver another 10-15mins so I did 20mins gone called them back someone different answered the phone and told me the driver had only just left 10-15mins ago so I give them another 20mins and found myself calling them again to someone different again answering the phone I told him I wanted to cancel my order and have a refund and he replied " I can't do that because I'm not authorised so I will contact the driver and if he is to far away then I will get someone to call you back " my order arrived 10-15mins after that phone call but no one contacted me back from Balti King, I have always used Balti King but after this experience I'm sorry to say never again, Balti King your loss.

Waited 2hrs not happy at all, kept being told different things everytime I called the balti King, when I said I wanted to cancel my order the guy said he couldn't do it because he was not authorised to, 10mins later my food arrived, I will not be eating the food and will be seeking a refund.

Wasn't happy rice was nam bread was plain and there was no hardly salad usually there's not a problem but I respect disappointed because of the naan bread and the rice

Very poor quality tonight Food was cold not surprised mind being over hour and half from the time I ordered.curry sauce was half its usual hardly any to cover rice. Very disappointing

I payed £36+ To receive a vegetarian meal! Complained to just eat and because I could not provide a photo without going through my food bin and recycle bin it’s dismissed! Will use Ubereats from now on better and more professional service! 💯♥️

That was a quality delivery service. I phoned to check where my order was and a polite delivery driver came as I put the phone down. The food was as close to perfect as you can get. Rarely as a family do we all have a 👍🏼

Missing poppadoms from order. Ordered at 5pm opening and was delivered at 6.50.

Ordered a side of chips for £1.60 and was very disappointed. We received a handful of chips which was not enough to be shared. Does not seem fair to have been charged £1.60 for a very small amount of chips. The curries were very tasty as always.

I ordered for a specific time and it came bang on time which was great! However the food left a lot to be desired in terms of taste. The food was plentiful, and warm but it just lacked taste and flavour. My partner semi-joked suggesting she had Covid because she could not taste anything, which is a shame because the joy of a curry is it’s flavour…

Excellent food, delivery took two hours from the time I ordered but it was a Saturday night so it was almost expected, upon arrival the food was hot and delicious. The quality is superb and the dishes are loaded with your selected meat. Highly recommended!

Absolute joke!! First time ordering from them, they were taking an hour and half so I called them and they DENIED IT! A staff member said it has only been half an hour and that I was making it up?? Then hanged up on me. Like why would I lie? I ordered through Deliveroo so I have a record but still they don’t believe me. Very disrespectful, AVOID!! At all cost!!!

Food was ok, not much meat in the korma. Salad was with the hot food and popadoms a bit stale. Asked the driver if he was busy tonight, he just said here is your order!

Waited over an hour after it was supposed to be delivered so over 2 hours for it to turn up. Won't bother again. No taste in korma, the potatoes were mushy and yukky and the takka Dahl tasted like fish which is worrying. Bread hard chewy and nit fresh. So dissapointed after a wait that long.

I thought the set meal was good value for money and I was looking forward to this takeaway given the reviews but was disappointed with the food. The naan was poor. It was likely made out of chapatti flour as it wasn’t very soft or fluffy and turned hard quite quickly. It was definitely more wholemeal. Chicken chat, and most of the dishes (starters and sides) dry. Although the potatoes were nice. Lamb Mirpuri was ok. Achari lamb was ok but lamb bit tough. The bengal lamb was more like a veg curry side that you get with a biryani. Poppadoms were either left out too long or starting to get stale and even the dips were quite tasteless and very watery. Driver was a nice guy, apologised for the delay.

Curry was tasteless onion barjee rock hard, lamb kebab way too much salt, overall food was extremely poor will never order from this takeaway again . A complete waste of money , your better off finding a better takeaway.So disappointing !!!

Took longer than expected, was missing one item and food wasn’t great.

Disappointed I didn’t get any Mint Sauce with my Chutney Tray or with my Mix Grill and I did ask for a Quarter Chicken breast but had Leg. I’m not a fan of Leg and I really enjoy the mint sauce with the popadoms and missed out.

It was the best meal I have ever ordered from Just Eat.

The food is nice we love it…. But the restaurant always forgets to give us poppadoms. A part from that we love the hot food that comes to our door.

The order didn’t arrive and the restaurant didn’t know where the driver was. Have told them to cancel order and give full refund.

I should of read reviews before ordering because I ended up missing three items from my order, when I rang the restaurant they cut my call of. I am disappointed in the quality of the food although the curry is fine & piping hot. The rice is undercooked & my nan bread is cold. Have issued a refund on Just Eat for the missing food items. Really gutted…. As I don’t like to leave negative reviews but taking consideration for the other ratings given, feel it’s important so the restaurant can improve their surface.

Large birthday meal ordered started off bad when driver was rude and only went down from there missing food, undercooked food, horrible tasting food extremely disappointed used to be my favorite place and would give it full stars lately getting worse and worse most went in the bin unedible my partner can usually eat most things but he couldn't eat stomach the mixture of hard cold rice with thin horrible tasting curry complete waste of money and spoiled my night

Not the curry I ordered, lamb saag is suppose to have loads of spinach which is why I always order it and it did not have one bit of spinach so highly disappointed

Onion barji was burnt to a crisp. The food was bland. The sauce was bland. all round this was a disappointing experience. This isn't even to mention the face that we ordered a chicken tikka musala, but we were sent something with lamb. Not good.

I really like this place, the staff are friendly and there is a really good selection of vegetarian dishes - so good to have a proper choice. They will also make dishes not on the menu if they can - Mutter paneer being one example.

Really disappointed. The food was over an hour late- it arrived over two hours after ordering. The chips were over cooked, in fact my tooth chipped with eating one. The nan was cold and the curry was sweet instead of a mix of herbs and spices. My poor partner hasn’t been able to go far the bathroom all night and this continues today. No small salad or mango chutney. We understand the restaurant was busy, but they could of declined our order or communicated that there would be a long wait. Really disappointed- we will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered lamb balti but i was given chicken balti on calling the restaurant i was asked the difference between a chicken and lamb dish and how could i differentiate between the two, i have been eating lamb and chicken since the last 25yrs of my life and i guess m quite good at differentiating, moreover i had ordered soft drinks which wasn't delivered to me at first on bringing it to their notice it was delivered the second along with the lamb balti which was the original order. This was my one of the worst experience.

Cannot fault the food it's lovely. But, if you order a delivery be prepared to add 30 mins onto the time quoted. It's happened twice now. The service is good, the tandoori mixed grill is excellent and so is the lamb bhoona. Food excellent, delivery time bad. It IS worth it though.
