Very good food specially vegererian indian options are just too tasty and very much same taste like i had when i went to india same taste you cant go wrong however boryani was more like fried rice and boiled chicken qhereas i was expecting marinated biryani masala basmati long rice with real indian biryani Aroma but delicious however love the food id go again for same food same experience same taste

I don't usually give this place bad reviews, the Currys we have are always good. Tonight we ordered pizza, and I couldn't even eat much of it due to the sheer amount of grease. It was tasteless, it needed more tomato base, less grease, and the cheese that they used was an awful texture. We won't be ordering pizza from here again.

Starter sheel kebab one small kebab cut into 4 pieces & full price, vegetarian bhindi bhaji & mashroom bhaji so chewy . Can tell it’s frozen mashroom.

I ordered curry, and it was unexpectedly so delicious 😋. I also ordered a munch box, which was enough to feed more than six people. Thanks, Curry King team 🙌

Food is good. Delivery times are a bit hit and miss but overall very tasty and good value

Was really looking forward to my meal at Currys king I'm very disappointed ☹️ chips for freezing cold no Donna meat in my kebab and my naan bread look beating up :/

Food is 10/10. Second time ordering rhe set menu for 2. Didn't disappoint. Chicken in the curries is super tender, not dry or chewy. 100% recommend coming here!

The wrap had 3 tiny chicken pieces in, no sauce or salad was not worth the money The kebab was horrible The pizza was so cheesy and greasy Very disappointing and waste of money as not eaten

Friendly driver, delivered nice and hot food, the order was perfect.

When it did arrive it come in a carry bag not a padded bag. Chips where cold, curries and rice where just warm.

Late delivery - very unusual as delivery is normally good. As a result the food was warm rather than hot as expected.

It says delivered but never got it had to call 3 time to get it

Went to get a lamb curry for hubby's tea and looks like water on his plate wish I could have out video on as u could see just how watery I'd actually is

It arrived quickly. Tandoori is really underrated and the lamb shashlik and half chicken tasted great.

These guys are always on time. The food is always tasty. The pizzas have their own unique flavour which is delicious. Tandoori munch box is filled with good quality meat. I don’t usually leave reviews but these guys have never let me down so thanks. Always delicious.

Food was nice as usual but no pilau rice which was a bit of a pain as nothing to go with korma.

both currys tasted really meh, not enough spices in them to even flavour it fully. Rice was horribly dry, poppadoms were bendy and oily, ordered cheese naans and got send plain!! absolutely abysmal

unfortunately the meal this time didn't hit the spot. The mango chutney tasted bitter and off and the onion salad didn't taste fresh. Had a chicken balti and there was only four pieces of chicken in it. Its such a shame as I've never had an issue before, but this time there were issues.

what a shame normally very good in the week but not tonight Saturday . starter mixed cold .. tandoori chicken luke warm and no char like it hadn't been in the tandoor just coated with tandoor spice . . very dissapointed ... salad lettuce was on the verge of being brown didnt seem fresh ...

Curry items great as usual, rest was disgusting. Burger was thin in soggy squashed bun without any salad (was no option when ordering to specify salad so put it in the notes which were clearly ignored) didn't say chicken had bones was pink and grey

Not pleasant food- cold doner Meat ,,,, stale Naan bread … I was very disappointed especially with the naan bread ! I’ve had food from here before so I know they can provide a Well cooked fresh Naan but lately it’s been Very poor ..

Ordered a meal gir family told ur would be 35 mins for delivery over an hour of my being home still no food had to call staff rude didn't really care said be 10 mins ... when good arrived driver tried to nske me psy again dispite already paying in shop and explaining this.... food WAS COLD and MISSING items and WRONG again I called when I realised part of order was missing and then haccho call again fuecto order being wrong and cold and STAFF was rude didn't care passed me yo other stuff member a d was not wonting to really sort problem said they will send out missing item I said the good cold order wrong not what I paid for n cold they sent rice and burger out after another over 45 minutes of waiting food was still no better they tried to blame driver as said he was new but has seen him before this is not the first time this has happened but will DEFINITELY BE THE LAST rudeness of the staff and well food is shocking they just don't care what so ever

My recent takeaway experience from The Curry King unfortunately fell short of expectations. Despite ordering the lamb curry, I found it lacking in complexity, with an overwhelming presence of cumin (jeera) overshadowing other expected flavours. The tarka dhal, similarly, was disappointingly diluted and devoid of the robust taste one would anticipate. Moreover, the naan bread provided showed signs of staleness, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Adding to the dissatisfaction was the delivery of reheated chips that failed to regain their original texture and freshness. To exacerbate matters, the mango chutney provided was not the anticipated accompaniment, but rather an unappetising green substance. Regrettably, this experience has left me with little desire to reorder from The Curry King in the future. I would advise potential patrons to explore alternative dining options for a more satisfying takeaway experience.

Food was delivered on time, and was very tasty, although not piping hot

Curry King provided excellent service both times I placed an order. Extremely prompt and effective delivery. The food was fine, to be honest. I found a few things to be a bit oily. Nevertheless, since I am confident in their prompt service, I would still place orders with them in the future.

Dried meat that had been recooked. Chips recooked. Naan was a tortilla. No taste or seasoning in rice. Absolutely disgusting do not order from here if you want food that tastes good because this restaurant uses old food reheated

I had to ring the restaurant as it had said my food had been delivered but it wasn't. Unfortunately this meant that the food was not hot which is a shame as normally food from here is very nice

This is not a bad review it’s a sad 🥲one I had a king kebab and I never got any kebab meat although it was still very tasty and would have one again

Samosas were filled with paste, not nice and for £3 odd for 2 was disappointing, but wouldn’t have been if they were freshly made.

I had a King Kebab which was 5* plus, however whist I was waiting for the food the smell of burnt chip fat was horrendous and all my clothes I was wearing had to go in the wash when I got home, even though I was not waiting long, either the fat wa very very old or the extractors were not working. I want more of your food, but please clean your act up.

The food was late. Everything we cold and dry. The food was not as described at all, no salads or sauces, just cold dry food and cold hard chips

Ordered 1 chicken tikka wrap and 1 donner wrap there was hardly any meat in any of them and the chicken tikka wrap was cooked when eatting donner wrap was warm and we live not far from the shop when I rang I wasn’t interested won’t be going here again only came back to this place as my sister said they did nice burgers and kababs but wont return in a long time

My husband and I love our different chickens (korma and balti) and pilau rice. My favourite is Bombay Aloo. We both will order again

my wife enjoyed her madras, my biryani was quite bland, could do with adding a touch of spice

Food tasted great however, munch box was supposed to have salad in it and didn’t! One very small box of salad came with the tandoori mixed grill, no salad came with the shashlik. I don’t eat bread, rice or chips so the very disappointed with how little salad we were given! Considering it was supposed to come with each of the dishes ordered!

Complete rip off. Spent 40£ for my family, the large donnor tray had 4 bits of meat. Burger and chips had 7 chips. Chicken burger and chips had 8 chips and mould on bun, wen phoned to complain they said that's all they could fit in. Ha ha ha, and mould must of been the last one of bag., no replacement no apology

Would have been better if restaurant said actual time expected when we rang up the first time rather than just saying it’s on its way. I understand unexpected busyness but over an hour and us having to ring twice to discover where are food was shouldn’t have been needed. We should have been contacted and informed or on phone call one should have been told it had just been cooked.

The food was barely warm and delivered late, which spoils the reputation of the restaurant. Also just eat did not supply a map to enable me to track the driver and the website of the restaurant does not show there phone number.

I think many would appreciate if it was written on the containers what curry we are getting. Now just need to guess....

The munch box is a complete rip off. All chips and very little anything else. Tiny portion of donnor meat. The rest is very little of. Cheaper to buy a large chips as md large donner meat

I normally ring my order in. Cooking at Werrington. They're all very polite. I'm very helpful. The apartment order tonight was supposed to took lamb that you can't chew. Set a £20 would just add rice and curry sauce. I was very up set. Next time I will ring.

The food came at the end of the window an hour after ordering, it’s busy I understand. What is really disappointing, is that the food was luke warm at best and fairly cold.

Best takeaway in the area, plenty of choices which means everyone is covered. Always good quality and hot. Delivery usually quick too. On the last order there were missing items this was rectified within 10 - 15 minutes.

Pizza was amazing 😍 only criticism is I wish they wouldn't toast the burger bun as it was unedable , it was rock hard, but the burgers were amazing 🤩😍

The food was nice but there was far too much curry on all the food in the munch box which I felt spoilt it as you couldn't taste anything else. I think it should be an option as I remember it never had it before and it was far too spicy to properly enjoy it as everything including the salad was covered in curry.

Doner meat not to the usual standard, no cheese on King Burgers and only one of the two large portions of chips we ordered arrived. Although our waist lines are thankful, our wallets are not! On a positive, the garlic bread was amazing and almost made up for the above...

Food quality was not as good as usual. Order starter and received different to what it states on the menu. Called and was told they have 2 options, but there is clearly only 1. The one I received isn't even a combo on the menu.

Normally great so not sure what’s happened today but it was so so take it or leave it. Which had resulted in leave it sadly. Hopefully it’s better again next time 😅
