I really enjoyed my meal, thank you

Bland and likely microwaved curry. Stale and doughy onion bhajis. Arrived suspiciously quickly. Tried to call restaurant after placing order but no answer. I wasn’t expecting to be amazed but neither was I expecting to be as underwhelmed and disappointed as I was.

We all want fast delivery but you know when something has been delivered too fast that something isn’t quite right. Mrs was happy enough with her donner Nan but my curry was very bland. Asked for extra fresh chillis in my curry but got a box of raw chillis. Which all makes me think the curry was probably microwaved. If you are looking for a curry I’d recommend 1498 Spice Affair for the best curry or Shah Jehan for a good curry at lower price. However my first experience with Curry King won’t tempt me back.

Chicken balti and pilau rice was very good as always good portions of chicken,juicy,not to 🔥 and great portions as well as the rice Would order again Thank you!

There was a chicken Korma missing.

Mouthfuls of my lamb bhuna were gorgeous (P'boro is not the place for this ultimate of curries, unfortunately). The kebab was great too.

Good value albeit found some clear liquid (water) on the plate. Tender chicken. Overall tasty. Had to wait a while at counter when collecting whilst a lengthy telephone order was taken.

Very good food specially vegererian indian options are just too tasty and very much same taste like i had when i went to india same taste you cant go wrong however boryani was more like fried rice and boiled chicken qhereas i was expecting marinated biryani masala basmati long rice with real indian biryani Aroma but delicious however love the food id go again for same food same experience same taste

Expensive, but probably the same as every where else, but excellent food, hot and full of flavour.

Papadoms tasted stale. Food greasy lacking spice. Not enjoyable. This mistake won’t be repeated

Food was nice and in general always is but another order with one or more items missing. Starting to become a regular occurrence which is a shame as the food is good value for money overall.

chicken Balti wasn't to hot perfect with good portions of chicken and quality as always That goes for the coconut naan bread to.

£16 for hard stale chips in a pizza box with a handful of cheap chicken bits, awful compared to normal

I don't usually give this place bad reviews, the Currys we have are always good. Tonight we ordered pizza, and I couldn't even eat much of it due to the sheer amount of grease. It was tasteless, it needed more tomato base, less grease, and the cheese that they used was an awful texture. We won't be ordering pizza from here again.

Wasn’t very happy to begin with due to food being late, then on top of that our order being wrong and only being sent 1 of the things we ordered. When I rang the curry king restaurant they were very apologetic and sent us another batch of what we ordered however was just hoping it could have been done right the first time as the replacement still took about an hour after we rang for it to come and we was hungry

Please specify if the plastic containers in which food is delivered is suitable for microwaves as most of us reheat leftovers the following day? Also where is the coverage for nut and other allergies?

Starter sheel kebab one small kebab cut into 4 pieces & full price, vegetarian bhindi bhaji & mashroom bhaji so chewy . Can tell it’s frozen mashroom.

Chicken Korma was cold. Ordered 2 Keema Naan but got 2 plain Naan. Popadoms were stale. The only nice thing from my order was the can of coke.

Food is good. Delivery times are a bit hit and miss but overall very tasty and good value

Did not turn up. Run the shop twice they said they at issued at the shop that is not our fault so now I'm going to get some think else to eat I hope I get a full movement and also an apology. Disgusting service

Was really looking forward to my meal at Currys king I'm very disappointed ☹️ chips for freezing cold no Donna meat in my kebab and my naan bread look beating up :/

Delivery was late, and was marked as “delivered” when it hadn’t been. Restaurant weren’t useful, and were also rude, when called. Food eventually arrived. Code wasn’t asked for. Lamb Tikka Sagwala was overcooked, as was the okra. Other dishes were nice, however, hence 3 stars.

Absolutely disappointed in the portion size of their meals

The wrap had 3 tiny chicken pieces in, no sauce or salad was not worth the money The kebab was horrible The pizza was so cheesy and greasy Very disappointing and waste of money as not eaten

Friendly driver, delivered nice and hot food, the order was perfect.

When it did arrive it come in a carry bag not a padded bag. Chips where cold, curries and rice where just warm.

Late delivery - very unusual as delivery is normally good. As a result the food was warm rather than hot as expected.

It arrived quickly. Tandoori is really underrated and the lamb shashlik and half chicken tasted great.

These guys are always on time. The food is always tasty. The pizzas have their own unique flavour which is delicious. Tandoori munch box is filled with good quality meat. I don’t usually leave reviews but these guys have never let me down so thanks. Always delicious.

Food was nice as usual but no pilau rice which was a bit of a pain as nothing to go with korma.

both currys tasted really meh, not enough spices in them to even flavour it fully. Rice was horribly dry, poppadoms were bendy and oily, ordered cheese naans and got send plain!! absolutely abysmal

unfortunately the meal this time didn't hit the spot. The mango chutney tasted bitter and off and the onion salad didn't taste fresh. Had a chicken balti and there was only four pieces of chicken in it. Its such a shame as I've never had an issue before, but this time there were issues.

what a shame normally very good in the week but not tonight Saturday . starter mixed cold .. tandoori chicken luke warm and no char like it hadn't been in the tandoor just coated with tandoor spice . . very dissapointed ... salad lettuce was on the verge of being brown didnt seem fresh ...

Curry items great as usual, rest was disgusting. Burger was thin in soggy squashed bun without any salad (was no option when ordering to specify salad so put it in the notes which were clearly ignored) didn't say chicken had bones was pink and grey

Not pleasant food- cold doner Meat ,,,, stale Naan bread … I was very disappointed especially with the naan bread ! I’ve had food from here before so I know they can provide a Well cooked fresh Naan but lately it’s been Very poor ..

Ordered a meal gir family told ur would be 35 mins for delivery over an hour of my being home still no food had to call staff rude didn't really care said be 10 mins ... when good arrived driver tried to nske me psy again dispite already paying in shop and explaining this.... food WAS COLD and MISSING items and WRONG again I called when I realised part of order was missing and then haccho call again fuecto order being wrong and cold and STAFF was rude didn't care passed me yo other stuff member a d was not wonting to really sort problem said they will send out missing item I said the good cold order wrong not what I paid for n cold they sent rice and burger out after another over 45 minutes of waiting food was still no better they tried to blame driver as said he was new but has seen him before this is not the first time this has happened but will DEFINITELY BE THE LAST rudeness of the staff and well food is shocking they just don't care what so ever

My recent takeaway experience from The Curry King unfortunately fell short of expectations. Despite ordering the lamb curry, I found it lacking in complexity, with an overwhelming presence of cumin (jeera) overshadowing other expected flavours. The tarka dhal, similarly, was disappointingly diluted and devoid of the robust taste one would anticipate. Moreover, the naan bread provided showed signs of staleness, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Adding to the dissatisfaction was the delivery of reheated chips that failed to regain their original texture and freshness. To exacerbate matters, the mango chutney provided was not the anticipated accompaniment, but rather an unappetising green substance. Regrettably, this experience has left me with little desire to reorder from The Curry King in the future. I would advise potential patrons to explore alternative dining options for a more satisfying takeaway experience.

Food was delivered on time, and was very tasty, although not piping hot

Curry King provided excellent service both times I placed an order. Extremely prompt and effective delivery. The food was fine, to be honest. I found a few things to be a bit oily. Nevertheless, since I am confident in their prompt service, I would still place orders with them in the future.

Dried meat that had been recooked. Chips recooked. Naan was a tortilla. No taste or seasoning in rice. Absolutely disgusting do not order from here if you want food that tastes good because this restaurant uses old food reheated

I had to ring the restaurant as it had said my food had been delivered but it wasn't. Unfortunately this meant that the food was not hot which is a shame as normally food from here is very nice

Samosas were filled with paste, not nice and for £3 odd for 2 was disappointing, but wouldn’t have been if they were freshly made.

Had ordered two chapathis, but only received one.

Arrived late food was cold asked for no sauce got sauce!

I had a King Kebab which was 5* plus, however whist I was waiting for the food the smell of burnt chip fat was horrendous and all my clothes I was wearing had to go in the wash when I got home, even though I was not waiting long, either the fat wa very very old or the extractors were not working. I want more of your food, but please clean your act up.

Forgot our chips we paid for Forgot chips last time too won’t order again if keep forgetting our chips other than that food nice
