I've ordered from Curry Garden before, and thought their food was good. However, I placed an order via their website and it never arrived. I have tried to call them many times and left several messages on their website but no response. If they don't refund me promptly I will contact my credit card fraud team.

Chef jay is brilliant and we got to meet him tonight at the shop as we normally get delivery! friendly chap

Not sure why this place stays open. The official Food Hygiene app gives this zero for hygiene. You must be crazy to eat there!

Recently the quality of the food and the portion size have severely decreased. Such a shame as I used to frequently order from here. Whenever you order from here, it always takes so long. Perhaps it’s gone through a management change because they never used to be like this :(

The order didn’t arrive. We were asked to collect it and we were told we would receive a refund as compensation. We haven’t heard anything from either Just Eat or the restaurant as yet. I’ve sent an email to Just Eat but not reply. Typical!

Delicious food as always. It was for my mum's birthday and she enjoyed it. Tarka dall was lovely with the veg masala nice and spicy, but not overly so. Decent portion sizes and reasonable prices. Thanks.

Food was ordered an hour before arranged delivery time. It hasn't arrived in time and after 35 minuted late asked them about my food via the just eat where I was told they will give me an update within 5 minutes. That never happened either. When I called them I was given an issue with the delivery driver as an excuse. That would have been ok if I was notified it was running late. While on phone I had to leave home as I had prior arrangements and if they weren't here in 5 minutes I had to leave home . After about 50 minutes late still no food, I had to call them and tell them not to bother delivering it as I had to leave home. According to their address I live in the next post code, with that if they contacted me I could have gone and picked it up myself. Lets see if they will refund my money. Absolutely livid with the experience and I would advice to avoid them. One little communication could have avoided this

Always great service and the best chicken korma in town.

Waited over an hour before calling to see where it is. They were extremely rude on the phone and said it was coming. App changed to delivered but 30 minutes after that it still hadn't arrived. Called again and was passed through 4 people before someone tried to help. It eventually turned up and the food wasn't even that nice. Big let down.

Food is generally good, but have been unreliable in the past often missing items from orders. Last time was 45min late, and some of food was cold as a result. Also not helpful when called to ask where order was.

Not the first time it has been late so thought we would try them again as food is great. But always says food delivered but when we call them they haven’t even got the driver at the shop yet.

Food was late, the restaurant cannot speak English they kept telling me I haven’t placed an order. I must of placed it from another restaurant. I threw the food away, the way they handled the call was unprofessional it totally put me off eating the food to be honest.

After notification of being delivered, req update said on way again. Delivered notification again, rang to a man that barely understood me. Hands phone to another that was ok and explained it's now on the way. Arrived nearly an hour late with poor communication. Drinks were in food bag, as warm as the food. No mint sauce and the chutney smells off. Rest was okay. Won't order again from here. Second time I had the same issue.

Never received my or, so rude when I rung

I've ordered from Curry Garden many, many times over the years. The one thing that always lets them down - their attitude when they make a mistake. My order this evening was delivered 5 minutes late, which is okay but the drink was missing. 1 hour later the drink still hadn't been re-delivered. After calling them I was told they couldn't refund the drink and it would take another hour to deliver. I appreciate other customers are ordering, but when you make a mistake you should aim to fix it quickly. If this was a one-off I wouldn't leave this comment, but this has happened many times previously and it's always a long wait. Thankfully it was only a drink this time, but previously it had been the wrong food. Which of course ruined the meal. The food itself was nice enough, a bit too oily, but overall I like their food.

Food was not edible unfortunately. Swimming in oil and chicken tikka was far too sweet. Staff do not speak English and was talking to the chef because of staff shortage. Also deliver was meant to come 4:45 and I did not get my food until 7!

messed up the rice in my order, i paid for a large plain white rice and i got 2 small ones and one was plain and the other wasn’t

Food delivered an hour late, and some items were cold. Yet when we phoned the store for updates they kept saying the food is 20 minutes away. Very disappointed with the service

This was our first time ordering from here and we will definitely be returning. The food was delicious and the chicken was very tender and not chewy as some others can be.

Ordered three different dishes and they all looked and tasted the same despite different ingredients, and very little flavour. Small amounts of chicken in the chicken dishes.

The food was good arrived warm. My only disappointment was the aloo chat was not as I expected , it was a potato curry.

Rated 1 star for Atmosphere only because I have only ever had takeaway from this venue so i couldnt say! The food is always brilliant I have never had a bad meal from there and now won't order curry from anywhere else now. The portions are always generous and they will occasionally add complimentary poppadoms and chutneys with orders. Thoroughly recommended.

Very watery and hardly any vegetables! Bombay aloo tasted like the potatoes were old! All very bland. Won’t order again 😔

I ordered special biriyani. It tasted really good. The spices they add in it is really good and consistent. I am really happy with the food that I had and I highly recommend it to my friends and family.

I ordered lamb chops, tandoori chicken, special Briyani and tikka briyani. It is worst ever tasted Briyani in my life time. Lamb chops were expired. Aloo which gave as free was oily. Curry was oily. Lamb chops was greasy oily. Only Tandoori chicken tasted good, but it too had so much oil. How on the earth you make oily tandoori chicken ? Basically tandoori chicken means it’s roasted in heat not fried in oil, so will not get oil in tandoori chicken. That is the reason why I ordered tandoori chicken and lamb chops. But this restaurant is vice versa. Briyani was tasteless, with added unwanted spices and smells bad (I get nasty smell when burp). Food and safety team should visit this restaurant definitely. It’s a big NOOOOOOO for this restaurant. Only eat if you want to die sooner 😂😂

Food looked opened and only half of the portion left in the containers. You can see the marking. I even threw my food away because it was absolutely disgusting. The bag looked open as if someone else tried to put it back.

Portions are getting to small. Madras pot was Half full and so was the masala sauce. Always use curry Garden but think it’s time to have a change

Tasty food this time round 🤗 I should have order hotter food as Bhuna was too mild for me! Peshwari naan was lovely - lots off dessicated coconut that compliments the curry dishes.

The food was delicious but according to delivery driver someone came up to him and claimed the food. Seems odd. When I didn't receive the food as expected I called and they did send the food but had to wait about 50 minutes from the call. So from placing the order to receiving the food was over 2 hours ! If what the delivery driver was saying is true, surely you deliver to the address and not just anyone approaching you?

Tarka dal was a tasteless... as was the paneer. Really disappointed as id been craving an Indian meal for ages. £28 totally wasted. Foxes will be happy 2mrw 🤷‍♂️ So hard to find a good consistent restaurant !!

The food was not good quality like I have had previously. The rice was very dry. The naan bread was extremely greasy and bland. The saag paneer was very oily and lots of grease. The curry tasted ok but not as full of flavour like before. Overall I was not happy with my order and would like a refund.

Ordered a prawn Korma to find prawns the size of a pea honestly you get bigger prawns in a prawn cocktail I was shocked my friend was just eating sauce and rice myself ordered a chef curry special not a prawn insight in my food I rang to complain only to get passed around to 3 people in the restaurant! Absolutely disgusting I would honestly stay away from ever ordering from this place! If it was my choice I wouldn’t even give one star!

Vegetable madras was delicious, spicy too. The massala dhal was a bit salty. The tarka dhal was very tasty. Delivery on time. Prices reasonable and portion sizes adequate. Overall, a good experience. Thanks.

I always order from them but today the Chicken Tikka Masala was very spicy, it’s not meant to be spicy. Couldn’t eat it all as too spicy for me. Disappointed today.

I ordered a lamb curry and have had food poisoning, there was hardly any meat in the dish and it tasted old . Please do not eat from this place.

Normally the food is delicious but todays was subpar!!! The chicken tikka masala had a watery taste to it and not as creamy as previous orders, quite tasteless today!!! Shame as I normally rave about the food but not today!!
