Masoom Tandoori Express in Stevenage

AVOID.. All the food delivered was cold and a waste of money..where do I start, the king prawn puree I ordered had only 3 prawns in total. the bread that it came with was wet and very greasy. keema nam bread was very salty. vegetable rice cold and very oily. masoom special balti consisted of 4 pieces of lamb. 3 of which was thrown into the bin. 3 prawns again. chicken was well over cooked. sauce had no taste no spice at all. I don't normally right reviews but felt I needed to let people know.

sadly was missing main part of dinner ordered..THE RICE ..??..how do u put a dinner order together of korma and madras ..and not add rice to give with ...?.mystery ....one call and rice was brought round 😋...tah muchly ...plz don't ruin your rep by slap dash..read orders properly .

Food did not taste as expected, completely bland with no taste at all.

Food was not great. The saag paneer had way too much cinnamon in, which still had the cinnamon stick in it. It wasn’t very good in general, and won’t order from here again

We used to order from here often but haven't for a while. Really disappointed as masala was very watery and bland. Bombay Aloo had very little seasoning and no tomatoes. Luke warm when it arrived. Just seemed poor quality for the amount paid which is sad because they used to be my favourite.

A lamb Rogan and a vegetarian Manchurian, both flooded with oil and salt. Impossible to eat. On top of that they were both as mild as a stew. I like spice but rarely have it, so it isn't a tolerance thing. The garlic and peshwari naan were barely acceptable as well. Wasted money, not returning.

Ordered at 8.15 food arrived at 10pm. Food was average and sauce was watery. Ordered from here before and it was nice so maybe was a bad day.

Was missing vegetable curry for the biriyni

Quality good - shame it was cold- just as well have microwave- think twice about reordering-No busy Friday night but did give driver tip!

Always order here but today was a disappointment. The kebab was overcooked and dry and portions were half the size.

Always been my "go to" curry house and the garlic chilli chicken is my fav but tonight when it arrived it looked different in colour, very bland and not very saucey like it used to be. I ate less than half. Not sure what the restaurant has done with the recipe but it doesn't get my vote. Dissapointed.

Ordered from here as wanted to try somewhere new. Placed my order at 18:30 as wanted to eat early, app said delivery would be between 45-60 minutes. After placing order delivery time changed to between 19:50 - 20:10, it’s Saturday night so I understand busy. Called at 20:30 as still hadn’t received my order, said was just leaving and would be with me in 15 minutes. Finally received at 21:00 and order is lukewarm at best. Won’t be ordering from here again

Very dissatisfied with the food, chicken tikka starter was very chewy and tough, chicken biryani was tough and burnt, the food had all leaked into the bag and everything was covered in oil. First and last time i will use this takeaway.

Food was nice but we ordered two lamb tikka curries but got one chicken and one lamb which wasn't ideal as my partner doesn't eat chicken. Never had an issue as we've ordered here many times and always been satisfied. Won't stop us ordering again from here

Never showed up. The flat number was 21 instead of 22 on order but all other details correct. I waited outside to catch the driver after calling to no answer but they never showed up and marked it as delivered. Very disappointing. No way to call driver. And no answer from restaurant.

The Korma was a strange dark brown colour usually yellow and both the chicken tikka masala and korma were overloaded with a strange salty coconut textured taste which we don't usually experience with these curries from other Indian take aways. Nan breads were favorless. Would be interested to know what ingredients they use for these standard curries. So unfortunately we won't be ordering again.

It's been a while since I ordered from here. A bit stingy with some of the ingredients. Only 4 king prawns in the king prawn puree and 6 pieces of paneer in the sag paneer. It all tasted fine but the lamb dhansak was a bit salty. I'm not sure if I'll re-order from them again. Better value places out there.

Unfortunately all the food had such a high salt content it was unpalatable! This is unusual for this restaurant as usually really good! Very disappointed.

The popadoms were awful & the onion salad must have been made with an old onion but at least the pilau rice was the best I’ve tasted, pity the chicken Balti wasn’t

Good isn't great and small portions compared to other Indian takeaways. Not overly flavoursome. Peshwari naan was really breast, thick and not cooked through. Also no free poppadoms, like other take aways. Won't be ordering again

Food was delivered on time and most importantly hot. Dish quantities were very good. If I had one comment, the seasoning on a couple of the dishes was lacking, but that is likely to be a personal issue.

I have ordered from this restaurant before and food used to be good. Today I had the worst Indian take away. Garlic Chilli was sweet not spicy and alo paneer was greasy and sweet. Masoom will be out of my take away list from today.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to be honest. The food was late being delivered and when it arrived the starter was missing. That said, I rang them and they sent the starter out straight away and the food was amazing. Its a shame that the time and starter was an issue because it would of been fabulous all round other than that

Food was piping hot and tasty as always! My favourite Indian by far only down side was they forgot my mango chutney but overall amazing as always!
