Not great to be honest and expected so much more, as many have recommended. Granted, service is good and we were accommodated on a Friday evening without a booking. The Cobra was cold and slid down a treat as did the wife’s gin. That’s where the fun stops! I know my way around curry, but as it was our first visit for years, I went safe with a Bhuna. I think Mrs Layboy had the Biriani. Mine was tasteless almost as if cooked in a generic curry sauce, while the wife wasn’t impressed either. I walked away gutted I didn’t stick to my guns and go where I wanted and the wife, well she had a bad belly for three days after. With so many options in Old Town we really have no need to give this place a further chance.

Best noodles in the area. Recommended! However, their admin side is poor. Sent an enquiry (using email provided on their website) 4 days ago and still no response. Wanted confirmation on deadline for last orders (have been caught out before; arrived while they were open but refused service as only 28 mins to closing time). Still none the wiser.

Vibrant, rich, spicy and delicious! With perfectly cooked, succulent chicken and fresh crunchy vegetables! This bowl of deliciousness genuinely cheered me up.

Firstly thank you for fitting us in even though you were busy after we got let down at another redtaurant. The service was great, our order was taken quickly and the drinks and food arrived in good time. The food was delicious hot and very tastey. The cocktails were great even if on the expensive side. My spiced coconut rum pina colada was a delight.

We cooked from scratch a curry this Sunday. It was so much better that the mass produced grub served up at Noori's. May just as well get a ready meal from ASDA and save yourself £15. We won't be back.

La comida siempre está caliente, cocinada correctamente dependiendo de cómo quieras los ingredientes principales, es decir, gambas, cordero, ternera, ya que siempre se han cocinado bien. Sin embargo, no se trata solo de la comida, sino que el personal debe estar altamente capacitado, ya que su atención al detalle y cuidado es de 5 *. Con demasiada frecuencia los restaurantes se olvidan de capacitar al personal, pero aparentemente no aquí. Si usted tiene una situación simplemente pregunte no sufra entonces quejarse después de 10 / 10. No, no tengo acciones aquí, pero desearía tenerlas.

Have ordered takeaway from here for years, always been beautiful. However this time it was awful. Hardly any meat, prawns overcooked, sauce bland & had a disinfectant taste. Won't be ordering from here again afraid.

Very disappointing takeaway. We have used Le Hope for many years and have always had good food. Sadly last nights takeaway was poor. Chicken Jalfrezi had heat but no flavour, Takka Dahl was watery and the chicken dansak was flavourless. The order was 10 minutes later than the time slot so the food was warm at best

First time at Waka and found it to be great. Had and really enjoyed the salt n chilli chicken. Food was received quickly and really nice, friendly service, will return for sure to sample something else :)
