Lovely meal had delivery to Woodhouse in Sheffield tonight chicken jalfrezi chicken vindaloo 2 pillar rice garlic naan and a chipati tender chicken full of flavour lovely rice bread very nice it was ordered at 5 30 arrived an hour later 6 30 you can order from here with confidence of a lovely meal delivered in good time.

Always fantastic when we go in , but equally as good as a take away tonight . Thank you so much, was absolutely brilliant. Xx

Another great visit to the Vine. The food is excellent as always. Service is only a 9/10 for this visit due to a couple of “hiccups” at the table. Accidents happen but Mo & the team have superb “people skills” & dealt with the issue very professionally. We will definitely go back again & again. It is the “go to” place for the best Indian food. I rang round a few Indian Restaurants a few weeks ago to see if they could accommodate me as Im lactose intolerant. Im disappointed to say that a couple I called were not interested. Not The Vine. I only like mild Indians so they said they could offer meca mild chicken curry. When we arrived two of our friends were already there and been served drinks. My friend had a black coffee and the waiter kept bringing warm water to top it up. We were served drinks and a pickle tray. When it came to picking the mains the guy who spoke to me about lactose spent time with me and offered a selection of meals. I went for the chicken handi. I have to say that the service and quality of the meals were amazing. We have booked again. Thank you so much The Vine.

Visited on a Saturday night, restaurant looked welcoming from the outside and we were seated straight away. The waiters were abrupt and unfriendly and service was poor. We found the portions small and tasteless, the naan bread was the best of all the meal. We love our curries but this was a 1 out of 10.

We eat at the Vine regularly. The food is dependably delicious and never been disappointed. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about their dishes and offer advice. We wanted to try something new recently and we were brought a small "sampler" to see if we liked it. Just love the place.

We come very often as a couple, a family or with friends. Always so nice, staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Food is just amazing... I'm a white wine drinker and I love that my glass comes cool as well. It's the little things!! Thanks so much. We can't wait for our return 💜💜💯

We had a great meal and currys tasted freshly cooked. Great service if a little slow. The only disappointments were the naan which was the smallest I’ve ever had in an Indian restaurant and the bhaji’s were also possibly the smallest and a bit chewy. Other starter was fab. I would have also liked to have had a small plate when sharing food and noting when extra cutlery was needed. The overall experience and kind and friendly effort from staff along with absolutely lovely currys and sides made this a great experience and I will be back. Hopefully the company takes note of reviews that consistently say the same things which are minor issues in the overall lovely experience we had. This is a great Indian restaurant so a 👍 from us. Thank you.

Never had a bad meal yet. Been to dine in and takeaway. Always happy and satisfied. The food is lovely. The staff are friendly and accommodating, visited with friends and family on Christmas day, as a very large group and we all left Happy customers, after having a fab time. The lamb kurzi is to die for. Can't wait to come again !

What an amazing find! The incredible staff was only slightly surpassed by the unfolding deliciousness of each course! Very well done Akib and the maestro Ali! Will be back as soon as we can.

The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. With it being summertime we found the restaurant well aired. It had a great atmosphere and I liked that you weren't seated too close to the next table. The staff were helpful and engaged with customers that weren't sure what to order. The food did not disappoint, it was fresh and hot and the garlic naan was amazing. The only thing for me was that there wasnt any non alcohol beers or lagers, just coke or lemonade for drivers, it didnt spoil my evening though and we will recommed the restaurant to our friends and will definitely eat here again. 4th August 2023 My and my Family had a teatime visit to The Vine restaurant and overall it was a enjoyable experience. There was a warm welcome on our arrival and the waiters/staff were very attentive and helpful. Despite it being very busy, the wait for our food was very short. The poppadoms were great but the onion bhaji’s didn’t live up to the expectations and could’ve been crispier. Moving onto the main meal, I had a Bangalore Pal Chicken curry with some pilau rice and a plain naan which was all the delicious and the naan was one of the best I’ve seen, the only issue was that there wasn’t a lot of chicken compared to vegetables etc but it didn’t ruin the dish. The main issue was the noise level around us and the difficulty in hearing each other speaking, this made it feel very cramped. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and I think it’s one of the better Indian styled restaurants I’ve been to.

Visited this excellent restaurant on 29th July 2023 for our wedding anniversary with two close friends. We have visited this restaurant many times and always find the quality of food and service of a very high standard.

What a marvelous night We were a family of 9 meeting up for a family get together. The service was above and beyond the food was faultless everything was faultless

Perhaps one of the poorest jalfrezi’s I have ever had no spice what so ever.. The naan bread was reasonable and the mushroom rice was good too. Maybe it was a one off I don’t know but when a supermarket curry is better well this isn’t good. A couple on the next table ordered a chicken paneer and she said there wasn’t any paneer in her dish . Service was good but meal was dreadful. Sorry but very disappointing considering when you walk in you see all these awards and certificates. This must not have been the chef who prepared our food.

Had a fantastic meal again. We all had something different and we all said it was the best Indian meal we’ve had. Very welcoming and good service. I would DEFINITELY recommend a visit, but don’t forget to book as they are very busy at weekends

First time in this very nice restaurant. Beautifully decorated, great air con on a warm summer evening. The three of us had different main courses, all were tasty and well presented. I had chicken balti, one of the best I have eaten. The chicken was succulent, the veggies perfectly cooked. The staff were warm and welcoming, attentive and helpful. Only a short wait for freshly cooked food. Great prices, all in all one of the nicest Indian restaurants and meals I have had. I will be back soon.

We returned again for an early evening meal. The service was, if anything, better than the previous visit, more friendly and engaging. Both the recommended curry dishes were excellent and the waiter had judged our spice preferences well. The portions were plentiful and the side dishes were of generous proportion and tasty. Not being local to the area we decided to take a punt on The Vine as the reviews looked good. First impressions were excellent, lovely decore, staff welcoming and friendly. The service time from ordering to served at the table was quick. Our meal was as good any Indian we've had, good portions and full of flavours. I'm not sure when we'll be back in Sheffield again but if we are I know where we'll be eating!

La comida y el servicio fueron excelentes, sin embargo, esperaríamos esto teniendo en cuenta que solo había una mesa de 8, mesa de 6, mesa de 4 y 4 mesas de 2 ocupadas, no exactamente ocupadas. I've been to The Vine on two occasions now, the first we were a table of two, the second a party of 18. On both occasions the restaurant was busy but the staff were still attentive and polite, the food was full of flavour and arrived in good time to ensure an enjoyable night out. Neither occasions did I feel rushed or required to order anything else to justify being there. A lovely atmosphere to enjoy with a partner or a party, I would highly recommend and will certainly be returning. I would advise booking on a weekend as with all good restaurants it does get busy.

Tuvimos una comida fantástica Mi primera vez en este restaurante, pero créeme que volveré a ir. Nada era demasiado para ellos. Las comidas fueron excelentes. El servicio de los camareros era genial, siempre estaban atentos. Bien vale la pena el precio de las comidas. La decoración del restaurante era encantadora, realmente auténtica. Como en algunos restaurantes, quieren que entres y salgas de este lugar al que no te apuraron. Para una buena noche, este es el lugar para ir.

Precios razonables en comparación con otros. También le brinda la oportunidad de pagar en efectivo en lugar de con tarjeta. La entrega se realizó en menos de 20 minutos. En cuanto a la comida, era absolutamente deliciosa y caliente. Definitivamente vamos a ordenar desde aquí nuevamente

Saturday 11th August 2019. We were recommended this place, arrived at 8.35 pm and told next table available at 9.15 pm got a drink and sat in bar area, listened to a few complaints of how long will our food be, shown to a table at 9.30 pm, popadoms and another drink was served ok but at 10.10 pm we had to ask if someone could take our order for the starters and main dishes, this was accomplished at 10.22 pm, starters arrived at 10.45 pm asked for another drink, then asked when the drinks would arrive, he had forgotten about them, then the main dishes arrived at 11.15 pm followed by the drinks. In the meantime a group of 15 customers walked out after waiting for their order for more than 2.5 hrs they didn’t pay. The food we had was good but the service was terrible. We noticed that the ‘ takeaway ‘ service was given priority over the in food service. Sorry not good enough for myself and my wife.

I have had many takeaways from here with my mate and decided to come for a meal for the first time. I chose to have a Chicken Shobuz Masala which was lovely and portion was more than enough. Would definitely recommend people go for a meal there as the food is really good.

After eating here previously I’d took a friend to the Vine as we had enjoyed it before. Food was lovely as has always been. The only issue being, waiters were quick to bring out main courses before we’d finished our starters and we felt a little rushed. Other than that- an enjoyable evening

Sadly this will have been my last visit to The Vine. They wanted to charge me £5 for a pint of diet coke. They already charged me a ridiculous price for a small bottle of sparkling water. It is disgraceful to rip off the nominated drivers like this.

Bonito lugar, buena reputación, personal educado, comida muy decepcionante. . . dos veces. Como la mayoría de los ingredientes principales están enumerados en el menú, me sorprendió encontrar mis comidas con coco dulce y enfermizo en dos ocasiones, algo que no puedo soportar. Incluso su pollo Tikka Masala desconcierta tiene un montón de coco y sabía como una versión ligeramente más roja de un Korma. Repugnante. Lo siento pero te dimos dos oportunidades. No volveremos de nuevo.

We ate here last night with friends who had had a poor experience 2 or 3 years ago, as had we unfortunately. We all decided to give The Vine a 2nd chance. I wish we hadn’t.
