This was our first time ordering as locals and we were a little anxious because of the mixed reviews, BUT the food was brilliant and it arrived in around half an hour… We will definitely be coming back! We love spicy food though it wasn't too spicy, but it was very tasty all the same. It was lovely and hot too which was a bonus.

First time and last from here. Food cold also chicken kebab tiny pieces with only 5 little bits in a greecy garlic dripping nan bread which for that and a donor kebab total £16.80. Absolutely shocking.....

I've been having a takeaway from Saj since I was 17! I'm now 35!!! This place is the BEST PLACE IN CHAP! friendly like family, customer service like no other. From ordering to delivery or pick up is impeccable! Will go above and beyond for you. Nothing Is too much! Love them 💕

Not my favourite indian but the cheapest. I always order the chicken madras- just chicken in madras sauce tbh. We tend to visit here if fancy an indian but skint to go full out on a proper nice place. Used to get free popadoms but dont anymore... order on just eat out of convenience. Delivery drivers are always nice when deliver food. Tends to come within time frame, if not earlier. I recommend if wanting a cheap and cheerful Indian meal. If wanting decent try Cardamon across road or Elachi in hoyland. But not too bad

Easy to order, difficult after. This business is cash hungry and will give your the run around when your need a delivery. They lied frequently about delivery time

Shocking ordered twice and both times was missing items. Ordered tonight rice and curry never sent the rice so I called them to be told I'd have to wait over an hour for the rice, by that time the curry is clock cold discusting take away if you can't read a simple order your a joke

I ordered for collection. Items were prepared quickly and was waiting for me when I arrived. At the time of writing this takeaway has 3 stars which I think is valid. The donor was quite frankly boring and bland and the highlight sadly was the naan. But overall nothing particularly unpleasant. 3 stars seems fair.

One of the best currie takeaways in Sheffield. Chicken Bhuna is beautiful and fries taste way nicer than any other dry fries from original takeaway places

Just been here 27/3/22 ordered doner meat and chips as always I asked the fella behind the counter to cut the doner meat thin got home it was that thick and crunched in the mouth another takeaway crossed of my list.

Fancied an indian on our date night take away, tried Spice Cottage for the 1st (and last) time. Naan was cold (almost felt frozen) tikka masala was sooo watery and just hot and not creamy at all, pakoras burnt. Would not recommend. Never left a bad review on a place before but couldnt not. Avoid!

Abysmal service! Ordered via Just Eat after being quoted an hour, 2 and a half hours later it arrived an was cold. Used them for years but will not anymore. Cold food, rubbish delivery times, don’t waste your time.

Gave me different rates when i ordered on phone literally for a 0.5miles away or so distance.I had new menu card got straight from the shop 2days back but on placing order said will charge me delivery fee whereas the menu card said if the order is over 10pounds is set for free delivery.

Horrendous, i want my money back.

Ordered of just eat tonight. Waited 2 hours for our food. When it arrived the poppodoms were missing from our order. We called the takeaway who were very apologetic on the phone and said they would set out now with the missing items. We are still waiting for the missing item (we live 5 mins up the road!)

Great food came earlier than we expected but was a good thing on this occasion as starving after long day at work. Would defo order again. Not sure if the naan was plain but we ordered pashwari- not as sweet as ive had them before from other places. Overall was a lovely food

Driver wanted me to meet him at his car and did not want to come to the door. Told him I wouldn’t walk into the street in my pjs and as it was paid for he needed to leave at my door.

We have not lived here long and we fancied a curry after a busy week working on the front line. The delivery was very quick, however the food was just awful. Poppadoms was like opening a bag of crips and burnt. The samosas was supposed to be meat, no meat inside, no room for anything because the batter was thick, hard and over cooked. Has was the onion bhajis the rice was flavourless and the main dish itself was awful, about 8 pieces of meat the rest just thick sauce. Safe too say will not be ordering again

Food was over an hour late.. delivery said around 8.15 and food arrived after 9.25! It was cold on arrival and the prawn cocktail was very mushy and watery... a real shame

Ordered off just eat tonight was 1hrs late no phone call no sorry When it arrived most of it was cold I understand if busy but customer servise isnt very good Shouldnt have accepted my order if couldn't keep up with orders

Normally great service but an hour late no apology and Just eat said it had been delivered!

Not good! Received 2 and half hours after ordering, curry and chips were cold! Pilau rice that I ordered was missing! Couldn't get through on phones to sort anything out, delivery driver just said they very busy, not my problem! If they cannot fulfill orders in time, correctly and hot then they shouldnt accept the order in the first place, will not be ordering again!

Sorry guys, food is normally A1 but today you have really let yourselves down. Almost 2.5 hours for delivery and all food was cold when it got here, the nan bread was as crispy as the poppadum!

Nice tasting food but ordered on just eat and was already a 100 min waiting time and then after 2.5 hours had to ring to see where it was!

Lovely mushroom puree starter (nicest one I've had so far) and a tasty vegetable curry with pilau rice. Perhaps a little more vegetable for 5 stars.

Great food but arrived 30 mins late.

The food was really good! Nice and hot even though I opened it like 15m later it was still hot! Don't usually like the gravy with biryani but really liked this one, eggs topped on top was lovely and the kids really appreciated that and it tasted good. Chicken tasted slightly like it's old and not freshly made but it wasn't a major issue and didn't dampen the taste of it all. Thank you, will definitely order again.

Really tasty meal, can’t fault the food in anyway. Even the chips were hot and fresh. Waited nearly 3 hours for our meal, ordered just before 7, was given approx delivery time of 8.20, food finally arrived just before 10. Im guessing they are doing their best with everything thats going on though, and we really enjoyed the meal once it came.

Ordered my food at 6.30pm , it turned up at 9.30pm shocking delivery and not acceptable, ruined my sat night as part of family ordered pizza off just eat that turned up 20 mins after ordering . The takeaway said they was busy but if they would have made clear it was going to be 3 hours I would have never ordered in the first place
