Absolutly amazing tasty food, lovely and friendly staff. The decoration is beautifull. Food came fast even that the restaurant was full.

Nice restaurant, especially upstairs as not so hectic.Our servers (Joy and Ice) were very prompt and attentive the food was perfect,my dinner partner had the Thai green curry and myself had the sea bass curry.

Thai melting beef delicious, atmosphere great make sure you book table V. popular.

My friend and I popped into here after a day of Go Ape. She ordered the fried mushrooms, chicken satay and wings. I had the pork spring rolls and chicken pad Thai without the Tofu. We also had two Giggling mojitos one with Lychee base and the other with Mango. The food was fantastic, the Pad Thai was delicious, perfectly coated and came with peanuts on the side. Everything was perfect. The service was great and it’s lovely In there. Would definitely recommend and I will be returning.

Ordered take away from here for the first time having previously visited many other GS restaurant. Food is usually spectacular but the visit to this particular restaurant was disappointing. The prawn crackers were so old they were soft, tasteless and inedible, the prawns were mushy. I Wrote to complain, the food should be restaurant quality, and received a ‘sorry’ email but they did not attempt to compensate. Very poor and not the experience I have had at other GS restaurants.

Nice meal, just a tad to much oil on some dishes, but service was good and there was no pressure or rushing when it came to ordering etc.

Absolutely amazing food, good variety of dishes and all of them taste amazing, especially the chicken panang and melting beef. However we’ve now been here twice (both for birthdays) and the service has been abysmally slow and painful which really sets it back considering it has such good food. Both times we’ve had to chase the staff for our food and drinks, service really needs improvement. If you want faster service I recommend going to the Windsor branch.

We visited for a Dinner and really had a terrible experience. The service was slow/non existent. The food came out luke warm at best, we had no plate to eat on or cutlery for our main course. When I asked for a fork, it took so long that I actually had to leave my table and find someone to ask for it and for plates for our food. The server then brought me a dirty fork which had very obviously been used by another person. We chased to order food, drinks, a glass for the warm beer my husband was served. Just an overall bad experience. When we paid our bill, the person taking the payment didn’t say one word to us, not a question about our meal or a thank for the £120 we spent that evening with them! We won’t visit Giggling squid Bracknell again.

We went there for lunch as it had a deal on - it was Monday and it was so busy and we can see why - the staff were great - food was fantastic and could eat it all again!

Gave up and left, as waited over an hour and still no food yet 4 other tables served theirs who came in after us. Went for lunch meal deal and even had to remind manager that we hadn’t been given prawn crackers. Shame as food not bad in the £10 lunch deal, but service terrible. Won’t return.

Great service, absolutely delicious food 😋

After having food delivered from here recently I wanted to bring 2 friends here as the food was so delicious. One dish in particular was just amazing, and I could not wait to have it again. So I booked a table days in advance and I met my friends today, all 3 of us sat down ready for a full 3 course meal, which we had thinking about all day. So here’s the problem we had. The item we had delivered from this very restaurant is not available when you sit in store, the server checked to see if I could have a vegan option they offer for delivery while in the restaurant but unfortunately the answer was no!!! I was told I could go home and order it!! Which means the restaurant missed out on 3 people having 3 courses, cocktails and of course a tip! We had no choice but to leave. Please put the no-chicken sticky chicken on the restaurant menu, it’s really good, in fact it’s delicious. I appreciate you have good veggie options but that item it’s by far the best thing you make IMO. Not to have it available in store to sit down is extremely disappointing. We left, went home and ordered from a well known app just 1 dish! You massively missed out on 3 people spending £££

Service so slow, when asking a server if there was an issue as we had waited over an hour for our main courses I was told we are very busy and everybody turned up at the same time. I understand this but no communication was provided at time of ordering. when food did arrive one meal was cold and the others Luke warm . Will not return.

Lovely food, friendly waitress but she was up against kitchen service that was incredibly slow. Table was booked for 7, starters eventually arrived 50 minutes after ordering and mains at least another half an hour after that. Complimentary prawn crackers were a bit pointless by that point. Such a shame. So much promise, but a real let down

First time at the establishment We were a party of three and we came in late evening. Firstly we were given a pick of seats and we requested a booth. We were told we could have it although it was a place for five and we give a review. However the subsequent service was not expected. It took around 15 mins for a server to come and ask us for drinks and food. When we were placing the order it felt like there was 0 interaction, just writing on the notepad and left. We ordered a tap water and we reminded them of it after the starter came out. We were given one glass at first then had to clarify we wanted a jug for the table. The best service was when the food came out and the lady who brought out the food had a huge smile on her face and was very enthusiastic compared to what we had experienced so far. At the end, our table was cleared and we still had a lot of our drink to enjoy, we were approached by another server in the most unenthusiastic tone if we want the desert menu, when we declined, we were asked “just the bill then?”. We just wanted to finish out drinks in peace. I understand if they had to do the payments had to be done at a certain time for closing however this wasn’t communicated to us and just felt rude. The food was beyond amazing. It was just a shame other than the sever serving us food was subpar.

Visited alone for a quick lunch, whilst in town, and haven’t visited in a little bit so I thought I’d go back. Personally felt let down this time by the restaurant. Sat on a nice table and ordered, food and drink came out promptly, but food portions weren’t as I remembered. Duck was nice but largely fat, and “spring rolls” in the Giggling Set was one spring roll cut in half, whereas previously there were 3 given as the portion? Large portion of rice, but was this to compensate for the lack of other sides? No tables were checked on during the mains, with servers only checking on the food at the end of the meal, and servers appeared too busy to do this- despite only 5 tables. Then to charge 8% mandatory gratuity felt rather rude- I know this is not an individual decision, but to charge gratuity I feel there should be the service and quality of food to match. Disappointed this restaurant has changed as much, and I may return for some nice Thai food, but not in a hurry.

We were giving the wrong information on how to get the free kids meal. Then we were given the rice instead of noodles for one of our kids meal. When we asked for the bill we were told we need to buy drinks in order to get the free kids meal. And then they forgot to hand us are takeaway so had to go back for it. Overall we had a bad experience so wouldn’t want to visit again.

KIDS EAT FREE? Not the case… well, there’s a specific menu that the adult must order from, which allows the kids to eat free. We learnt this information when a £100 bill came out, and we questioned why the bill was so high! Considering we’re a family of 4, it should’ve been highlighted to us that the kids food will be chargeable, if we’re eating tapas. The only reason we are here is because there is a huge sign outside that said “kids eat free”

Oh what a lovely interior - it's stunning! My friend and I stopped by for lunch and we really appreciated the lunch menu- you can choose a set of multiple dishes in smaller portions so you can try a bit of everything. Everything was delicious and full of flavour & very filling. This might be handy to know; most food on the menu are halal. We were happy with the staff they were kind and attentive( but went on a quiet day) prices are in the mid range I'd say-it's reasonable for a good Thai!

I was very impressed by the range of vegan options they had here and how tasty the food was. The only caveat is, I wished we weren't sat next to the bunch of other people eating. There were other tables that were less crowded. I understand it makes it easier for servers to attend to there areas, but it makes the dining experience more intrusive. Especially since we ate lunch at around 2pm on a Saturday when it was quieter.

Amazing place such a pretty restaurant. Tasty food the pork belly and chicken pad tai was the best I have ever had, service by Ben was amazing, such a lovely guy will deffo come here again highly recommend 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was not bad. It didn't excite, but it didn't offend. personally, I probably wouldn't visit it a second time, but it could be a matter of taste. 😁

The food was good, okay, but the service was terrible, I took my girlfriend there, the host came to our table a lot, gave compliments to her, giving smiles, and trying to talk to us, what the hell.

Thai chain restaurant. Modern interior with lots of glass and flower prints. Two rooms. Food was very good and tasted authentic to me. Very nice lunch. Long climb to upstairs toilets.

Shame the sauce for two different meals taste exactly the same.

This is the 3rd Giggling Squid we have visited. Our booking was for 7pm, we arrived on the dot The food was amazing and atmosphere pleasant. There was an entire section of the restaurant not being used, had they thought about it; we could have had a much nicer view. Instead we were left looking out at an empty block of flats and a vacant concrete plot. The servers were friendly and approachable, took our drinks order quite quickly, then once we got our drinks, they took the food order. The starters came out in good time and were delicious, they came and cleared the dishes once we'd finished. Sadly there was then almost a 40 minute wait for our mains. It was 8:45pm by the time we got them. We were a little worried because the booking slot was 2hrs ending a 9pm. Having finished our meal we asked to pay the bill. We found a charge on the bill for something we hadn't ordered. This was rectified quickly. Overall, we had a lovely time. If we were to go back to the Giggling Squid this location wouldn't be our first choice.

Surprised that the (curry) Pad Thai did not come with rice and that this had to be ordered as an extra. I asked the deputy manager if the pineapple Banana smoothie had been freshly made and was informed that it was brought in which explained its artificial flavour-avoid.

Excellent service and menu, beer is a bit pricey nevertheless a very good experience.

Food is nice but the menu is very limited. Staff couldn't be more helpful! Nice decor and in a central location.

We have seen this place many time and each time we said that we must try this once. Today we did. We were slightly underwhelmed. Menu is ok, rice seems to be extra. Portions not overly large, barely any meat in my Jungle Curry. My wife found it difficult to find much chicken in her red curry. Service was good and very friendly, there was a guy from the Philippines who was happy to chat to us whilst we were waiting for our food. The whole visit was pleasant, but not overwhelming.

The food here is nice enough. Salt & pepper squid lovely, mains were okay. Rice is extra and portions are not huge so whilst food is tasty it’s overall somewhat overpriced.

Absolutely thrilled with our visit, Staff were very good and couldn’t have been more welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. A very pleasant experience.

Food was lovely. A good wide range of dishes, all looking like something we wanted to try. Lovely flavours for the dishes we had, including 1 bite salmon, sea bass, red curry duck, and the Thai soft back prawns. Good service too.

Had a lovely meal for 6 people. We were seated upstairs. Beautifully decorated and clean and fresh feel. Staff are friendly. The food was delicious.

Food Was amazing and good value - Felt like other tables were prioritised as we waited a good 15 minutes before and other people got food and drinks before us. Had to ask three times for our drinks which annoyed me - Great Pad Thai and Prawns

Slow service, chain restaurant food,, very overpriced for what’s on offer.

Just far too poor service compared with the food which was pretty good.

Service here was absolutely atrocious. Took them half an hour to even take our order. Drinks took that time again to come out Restaurant wasn't even busy, maybe half full? They came once to ask us for drinks refill and as they never came to ask us for desserts, we were bored of waiting and had to go ask for our bill. Waitress was just standing at the front chatting with the host. Honestly, disappointing for a giggling squid, usually this chain is fairly reliable.

Such a kind, caring, and calm atmosphere with lots of helpful staff, excellent food and a wide range of choices.

In my opinion the second best thai restaurant in Bracknell. Really nicely done decor, good food and friendly staff.

We went to the giggling squid yesterday before shopping round Bracknell and going to the cinema.It is great that this place has loads of gluten free options,I know not many Thai restaurants do it so I feel really pleased when I can eat at Thai restaurants.This is my second Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to.The food was fantastic for starters I ordered the pork skewers which were delicious and had a light smoky kick.The wings I ordered were also delicious,they tasted so delicious,very smoky with a gentle spicy kick.For mains I had the giggling chicken pad Thai.It was so delicious,the portions were amazing.The noodles and chicken were lovely.Same as the rice.I especially loved the sticky rice,they didn’t lie on the menu description!The pak Choi was also delicious too.The mocktail was the best I’ve ever tasted.The service was great,the manager was really friendly and took my gluten free order with so much care.Our server Gosia was lovely too.The decor in here is also so nice,very affluent yet subtle.Loads of photo opportunities!Would highly recommend especially if your gluten free

The best restaurant in the area by far. The food is delicious, portion are adecuates. However, ehe desserts selection could be improved and the front of the house could be slightly better trained.

We visited on a Sunday evening. There were a surprising number of menu options unavailable but, once we had re-selected our choices, what we had was delicious. Attentive service. There was a steady level of other patrons but it was never over-busy.

Once again wonderfully cooked and season food, lively atmosphere and great service . However once again the food took to long inbetween starter and main to come to the table about 3/4 hour. Will visit again as food is so delicious.

Ate here on Monday night in a group of 9, service was fantastic and food was really delicious. I did feel it was slightly on the pricey side, £40 for 2 half pints a start & main, but the food was generous portions and I would definitely return for a treat!

Really nice restaurant like the decor, it was not the quickest of service but we didn't mind as we were in no rush. Staff all very friendly, but couldn't tell us if the chicken was halal or not for one of our group so they went with the fish instead.

Had a table booked for 7pm today for my sons birthday and they knew that as we had told them when booking. I wasn't expecting them to make a fuss or anything, just had asked for a nice table. Upon entering they didn't really see to care offer us 2 tables one next to the prep.area downstairs and the the other upstairs next to the window over looking the derelict work site beyond the premises. Not to mention this are was freezing cold. Apparently the nicer tables are only for parties of 5 and above! HOW NICE! Ordering was slow. We waited 45mins to recieve 2 of our 4 starters, which were literally thrown on the cutlery laid on the table as this un mannered waiter hurried to deliver orders to other customers. We then waited for the rest. Although I had asked the assistant while ordering that we would be sharing these there were no individual plates supplied. I finally got someone's attention and to be honest this person who actually was only new to this branch was a god send. They didn't know where the other starters were or if they were even ordered and now these 2 sitting on the table were cold. He managed to resolve this but then the squid was overcooked to a crisp. Lovely!! They did take that back and took it off the bill. HOW KIND OF YOU! Food finally came 1hr 30mins in, and our "signature" dished were cold. When I asked, they said they would see if they could be redone, I just told them to microwave it as i just couldn't carry this on, and they did. WOW! Food was bland, and two signature beef dishes, which were suppose to be completely different were near enough same other then the sauce. Green beans were straight out of the packet and super crunchy. TASTY!! Rice dishes were cold and egg fried came with an extra serving of cling film. The assistant from Wokingham, was extremely helpful but I just couldn't go on complaining about how aweful this place was. In his words "I would offer you the desert menu but as its really busy it's probably not a good idea". REALLY, WHAT!! Do I need to say anymore.. £132.00 bill with £13 in gratuity for what exactly?? For us to sit there get ignored while 3 waiting staff members stand around giggling, For cold below average food, then to be microwaved and served, for 1 paper serviette each. For me to ask for more drinks and recive them once we have finished our meals. We just wanted to get out. Worst experiance ever! Never again Giggling Squid.

First time it was a great experience. This time was close to poor. Booking last minute on the App was easy. Arrived at 1pm for 6 people to be given a booth for 5 max. Didn’t have one of the starter packs for 3 (£31.50) so np. Food ordered & repeated back. Starter & one dish arrived in no time, although having to prompt for the water/glasses. Mains for the 4 came out 30 mins later. One person had their delayed another 15 mins, by which time everyone else had finished as the curry dishes were tiny and the rice while heaped were small. The worst thing was finding a fly in the pak choi, which to be honest was off putting. I pointed this out to them discreetly and asked for the bill. The bill came, with the obligatory meal deducted. I was annoyed they put the service charge on which I declined. So left at 2.35pm where we found another place to eat to fill the void.

Food was absolutely excellent, was served by a really nice young man with lovely makeup! Will come here again!

Prompt service, good attention from the staff

We had a fabulous night out and were expertly served by Sam. I can highly recommend the duck confit dish which was divine.

Fantastic food and cocktails. We had a great evening. Service was however very slow, it was even a challenge to get waiting staff’s attention to place an order.

Had a great evening, we were a bit unsure at first due to the low scores and reports but we found the staff great and attentive and the food very good. There was some meals that were not available but we asked before ordering so were not disappointed. We have been to Wokingham before which was fab and I think maybe a bit more comfortable but cannot complain about tonight’s experience at Bracknell all was great. 👍

Unwelcoming place,awful service, terrible coctails & poor choice,average food.Booked for family celebration, but night was ruined by unprofessional staff and service, not even once anyone asked if food/drinks were ok .It took nearly 1h to get first drinks and even those were wrong ,some cocktails not made at all due to missing ingredients,just staff didn't bother telling us.Food took ages to arrive too and as soon as we finished our main we were told we have to leave as they are expecting more guests in.This is the first restaurant, which doesn't understand the concept of hospitality!AVOID!

Despite having a glitch with our order we had a lovely dinner. High quality even not cheap. Worth the money. Special mention to the waitress Julie? Thai lady. Hard working and pushed the extra mile to make us comfortable and satisfied with the service.

I have visited a few Giggling squid restaurants and I must say even though the decoration was nice and staff good the food was terrible. Portions small, no taste and not very hot. Not value for money I’m afraid. Won’t be going back to this branch.

Mixed experience but overall prepared to be somewhat understanding to what appeared to be some new servers in the team, hence the 4 rating. We Arrived in good time for our booking. Were given option of a table up or downstairs. Chose to go upstairs which gave a much more comfortable seating environment versus the very busy downstairs section that we were first offered. We had a relaxed dining opportunity, as in we were in no rush. We have in our rating looked to make allowances for the following issues with our service: 1) a dish we ordered was apparently unavailable - slow cooked crispy beef. We weren’t told until after 2 dishes had already arrived and then were told the same thing twice, the second time after we had ordered an alternate dish, making a delivery of dishes to the table, rather disjointed. 2) we ordered 2 soufflé desserts and only 1 was actually put through so we had to wait for a 2nd dessert to come. 3) There was no peppermint tea. limiting options for a decaffeinated, hot drink. I would have to say that the overall serving and dining experience at this Giggling Squid restaurant is not at the same higher level that we’ve experienced at the Giggling Squid locations, such as Marlow, Brighton, Windsor or Wokingham, for example. I could see what appeared to be a manager wearing a jacket wandering around, but I couldn’t really see what value he appeared to be adding to the actual service. He certainly didn’t come to see us to apologise for some of the issues that we had during our service.

Got taken to my seat and then ignored for 20 minutes whilst trying to attract the attention of staff who were too busy looking after tables of 6+ or clearing tables of those who had left to get more customers in! Seems a table for one is not a priory! Funny thing is that I mentioned this to the person on booking desk as I left and they just shrugged their shoulders and made the table available I had vacated on the laptop! Basic customer service training required in that all customers are important!

Just left the giggler tonight after a feast of the best grub yet from there... My last visit was a bit of a let down but I was blown away by the flavours and succulent meat that was served tonight. Sticky chicken 👍, pork loin curry OMG 🤤... Staff were fantastic as well, attentive, polite, engaging... Back to my number 1 restaurant in Bracknell...

Arrived quite late in the evening and still had the best service and amazing food. I think this restaurant has the best team and the best food. Shout out to the assistant manager, she made sure we had everything we needed and our order was to our satisfaction.

It's just a mediocre place to eat generally with mediocre food...almost tastes like a mealbox that was delivered that they reheated and served. No love in the food and certainly no taste.

I dined in on Saturday evening and unfortunately the experience was not as enjoyable as it could have been. It became apparent fairly quickly that the kitchen (for whatever reason) was understaffed causing food to be delayed. We were not warned of these when we arrived at the restaurant. Arriving at 7pm I did not leave until nearly 10pm. There was over an hour between our arrival and the arrival of our starter. And a further hour between our starter and our mains. Drinks were also slow going. Our waiter Ben was very friendly and apologetic despite the slow service, but the service was unfortunately a big negative. Despite this very slow service, when we got the bill a discretionary 10% service charge had already been added automatically to it (for a table of 2! I'd understand if it was a large table) which we felt was very cheeky. We decided not to remove this charge as our waiter Ben was very good, and we didn't want to further delay our departure. In future when problems with the kitchen arrise the restaurant could do more to warn guests, couls not add a service charge to the bill, and perhaps even provide some free nibbles (like prawn crackers) to keep guests from going hungry while at dinner.

It was a very busy resturant and over 2 hours to get food after 2.3 hour we left as too late to eat

The service was awful. Drinks were served pretty quickly however the starter took half an hour to come. We then had to wait another 20 min for the waiter to clear the table when you could clearly see we were finished and 30 more minutes to be served the mains… Also I had to tell the manager we were waiting for ages before the food was served. Would never go back to the Bracknell restaurant as the service was very poor and no one let us know about the waiting time. There are too many staff working in there and no one seems to know what is going on with the tables. Very disappointing.

We ordered a take away and the food is going in the bin. The order was wrong and cold. Even when we tried to re heat it, it wasn’t edible, so we are now out of pocket and going out to find something else. We have eaten in the restaurant previously, and while not as bad, the food still wasn’t of good quality. Thought we would give it a second chance. Won’t repeat a third time. We have contacted Deliveroo and they provided a refund for the wrong items and compensation for the food being cold,

Restaurant was freezing as doors constantly open. Service was appalling food didn't come for two hours. Had to ask twice for water

Food was eventually great and they staff were lovely. However a huge wait that we weren't warned of. Also the duck spring rolls had pretty much no duck. Hey, it's Bracknell - there's nowhere you'd really want to eat, but this was well below par even so.

Can't fault anything about this restaurant. I had a really enjoyable fine dining in a relaxing atmosphere. Food cooked to perfection, easy on the palate and the spicy meals had just the right amount of flavour coming through. Whenever I am in Bracknell, I would surely stop by.

Disgraceful is an understatement. Went with wife and 2 children. Manager forgot to put our food order through the system. Only when we queried after waiting over 40 mins and kids complaining that they are really hungry did they notice. We asked to see the manager (person who had taken our order) but had to wait. All she had to say was oops sorry and shrug her shoulders. Everyone can have a bad day but to not care or try to rectify the problem is simply shocking especially when we are there with children. I guess they had another booking for the table and did not really care.

Great food if you like something with flavour and a kick to it

Visited on new year's eve 2023 with friends. Really friendly staff, spotlessly clean environment, fantastic food and great cocktails. Good prices and the whole experience was unhurried and well-timed.

Great food but service was very slow long wait for drinks and place was almost empty. Food didn't come at the same time, one person left with only half a meal. Then 45 mins waiting to pay in the end I asked for a free round of drinks. But that should have been offered with such a long wait. Shame because the food was good.

The atmosphere relaxed, service quick, friendly and efficient.Plenty variety and inclusive to vegetarians.Allergy menu is helpful.

We visited on 21 Dec so appreciate it would be busy during the holiday season. However, we had to wait 40 mins for starters and then another long wait for mains. Starters werent up to normal standards. Feels like the takeaway food being ordered online takes priority. Restaurant is beautifully decorated but had better experiences at other Giggling Squids nearby.

Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff. The food was delicious and great value. A platter of 4 different Tapas starts at £10.95. Definitely recommend and will return.

So disappointed pre booked festive menu which was a mistake as overpriced for what it was and seemed to slow service down. Had to ask for starters to be served and then ask for main course and had to chase them up again for dessert to be served. Waitress very apologetic each time even giving us prawn crackers to have because starters not arrived (for the price paid they should have been included in festive set menus already). However having to keep asking shows that probably not enough training for staff or lack of interest. All in all overpriced for what it was/ food ok service terrible. As stated So Disappointing.

4th visit here and bringing my lovely parents in and this place never dissapoints. Defo recommend pad thai, green, red and massaman curry for mains. Starterwise money bags and salt&pepper squid is a banger! Only suggestion is to reduce sweetness on the pad thai and curry dishes. But otherwise all good! Also, Emma is awesome. Her hospitality is so cool! And special shoutout to the manager Courtney who has given cocktails on the house! :)

All in all is very good, I'll gove 5 🌟. Food is tasty, with good portion sizes. Service was a bit slow, however, it was packed, so it's fine, we were not rushing. It's worth a try. We will definitely be back. I'm glad that we have more choices in Bracknell.

Located at the entrance of the Lexicon. Very friendly personnel. Food is okay though can be better.
