China Express in Bracknell Forest

We have ordered from here a few times and it’s been ok, but tonight they got our order wrong and chow mien tasted like salt it was disgusting

After the mixture of reviews for this takeaway I thought I would give a try since a number of other local takeaways have gone seriously downhill. I had a special chow mein and it was the best I have had for a long time. I will definitely be going back ( I don’t use delivery companies due to many bad experiences) and try some of my other favourites.

We've used this local Chinese for a while, and I have to say tonight this was absolutely outstandingly delicious food. Everything was warm and spicy (as we chose a few hotter dishes!) each dish tasted individual and full of flavour. Truly a taste explosion. Not sure if new chef or special bank holiday service but cooked to perfection. The mixed starter for two is plentiful and salt and pepper chicken is delicious. Thank you China Express we'll be back again soon x

Do not bother , we have ordered a few times, but this was horrendous Rotten food ( look at pics of chicken balls) Pancake roll smelt like a bin on a hot summers day and was slimy The rice also smelt terrible, will be reporting to FSA

Food was ok but it came 50 minutes after the agreed time. Totally inadmissible when you have to pay £3 for delivery.

Absolutely terrible never again.... Food was over an hour and half late. So upset with the service and the food. GUTTED!!!!!!

Real Chinese Chefs with great skills and delivering authentic taste. Cook to order. I'm quite a regular this place. FYI Vegetarian options are there plus delivery. Staffs are friendly.

Had a Chinese from China Express a couple of weeks ago and was our first time. It was very nice and tasty and arrived hot Will be returning.

This is my second favourite chinese, it comes quickly, been using it on and off for years and recently have had no issues with quality it’s just the size of the portions are very small compared to others around, they put in lots of vegetables and not lots of meat and the delivery fee is expensive. I’d be happy to use them again when my fav chinese doesn’t answer the phone as these guys answer pretty quick most of the time and not the worst in the area by far.

Ordered a takeaway for delivery including sweet and sour chicken. The sauce tasted off so we called to let them know. She went to check the sauce and told us it was fine. It definitely was not fine. Not the first time the food has been poor quality (also not cheap!). Won’t be ordering again, avoid!

Had a food delivery from this place tonight. Food was awful! Chips were sweaty and soggy and a seriously small portion in comparison to other local Chinese places. The two curry dishes were not hot and had to heat them in microwave. The portions of meat in curry's was pitiful and was just drowned in sauce to try and disguise the tight arsed portion. All in all seriously disgusted and dissatisfied with this disappointing effort from China express. Especially as they are probably one of if not the most expensive Chinese delivery service in Bracknell. Poor show guys! You're food is not worth anywhere near what you charge. Won't be ordering from your business again and will be sharing this in local restaurant news writeups. Terrible service.

My wife and I always get our Chinese take away from here, having tried other Chinese restaurants in the area not to mention all the food we’ve eaten on our travels and living abroad. It’s good value for money and the food is consistently of a good quality. As regular customers, we would recommend this restaurant and often get it when friends come round. We often have vegetable in black bean sauce, chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken balls, rice and chips.

Have used this delivery restaurant previously and have found the food generally good. Our issue is with delivery times, if I ask for delivery at 19:30 it’s because I want it at 19:30, even maybe acceptable at 19:45. The last delivery was 30 minutes early meaning by the time we put the grandkids to bed the food was cold. No means to heat up as can’t put plastic in oven and no microwave. This has happened twice now, makes life difficult. How late do we need to order to get food at correct time. That being said the food is good quality, especially the king prawn and chicken balls, sweet and sour sauce too, curry sauce excellent. Please get delivery times sorted, not early it’s as bad as being late.

This used to be a really good takeaway, tasty hot and good value. But recently the food has gone downhill, and tonight was the last straw, I had beef in oyster sauce and it tasted and smelt awful, nothing like the actual dish it was supposed to be - I couldn’t stand the smell of it so much I had to throw it straight away, it was disgusting. And the cost of the dishes has increased quite a lot recently, which we wouldn’t mind if it was the same standard as before, but it really isn’t. And to top it off, the prawn crackers were stale (ok they were “free” but even so!). Sorry CE but we won’t be using you again. This has almost put me off Chinese food for good.

We have always ordered from China Express. Yes, they have increased their prices over the last couple of years, but I thought it was fair and in keeping with the current market. But I was so surprised tonight when I phoned to order our usual set menu which costs £22.90 only to find out that it now costs £29.90.... a £7 increase!!!!! How do you even justify that???! Not only that. On top of that increase, they still charge you a delivery fee of £2.50!!! I say that's just extortion! Rest assured this will be the last time we'll be ordering from them. I know there are a lot of Chinese take-aways in Bracknell, which offer great value for money. It sure is time to bring my business elsewhere. It's a shame for they have been an ok take-away, just sad when greed takes over. I WOULDN'T recommend this overpriced establishment, just try HAKA or Great Wall next time.

This place is known for its convenience. The wings are good and the chicken curry ok. I find the chicken chow main and soups a bit hit and miss. Wantons are also ok. They open late and prepare the food quickly.

After a day at the races, we went back to the home of one of my friends and decided to have a Chinese takeaway as we were quite hungry. So we all decided on getting it from another takeaway restaurant instead of our usual. We all had different food, I had a chicken chop sues which tasted like a tin of tomatoes slung over some pieces of chicken, the bean shoots were soggy. Another person had the chicken and pork balls, the pork tasted liked no5hing and looked grey so she l3ft it. Another friend had bbq ribs with no taste whatsoever. All in all a waste of money. We’ll stick to our usual takeaway in future. N.b. Get some cookery lessons,

Never again chicken chop suey with tomatoes ? Egg fried rice terrible. Service quick too quick most probably reheated in my opinion. Threw most of it away. Will not order again

I used to really enjoy ordering from here (for pick up as food is ready extremely quickly when picking up), however recently the food standard seems to be declining. Particularly they have changed their curry sauce recipe in the last few weeks so that it now tastes like absolutely nothing.

Have used many times before but tonight we were very disappointed. Last takeaway wasn't great but decided to give another go as considered it maybe a 'one off'.

We have ordered from China Express a few times and food wasn't too bad, but sadly never consistent. It's hard finding decent takeaways here that deliver, as there aren't many, so we just accepted that.

Have used a few times in past without too many issues. Tonight we ordered family delivery as moved house and cooker not working. Spent £45 for what was to been hot food, arrived cold with a delay of 20 mins on delivery schedule. Unfortunately we ordered via the app Just Eat who advised the restaurant was unable to assist. The upshot is the restaurant has now lost good customers and many of our family members will follow. Don’t take the money and run, not good customer service. Such a shame.

Well the food turned up on time but my god the quality of soup was devastating. I ordered a noodles and my girlfriend the hot and sour soup. Gee meal was vulgar and utterly inedible. I would not risk eating here as the food is the definition of hit and miss and I wouldn't want anyone to go hungry due to them not wanting to touch let alone eat their ordered meal

Order was delivered food was badly cooked, 3 out of 5 of us was up being sick all night called to complain was asked what they should do for me. In the end they delivered a refund to me after three phone calls and two arguments about customer service with the so called manager who didn't know what or how to speak English. I will NEVER use them again!!! Absolutely disgusted with their lack of customer service and ability to resolve problems.

Food was cold when it arrived. Something about flat 8 bring on order & there is no flat 8 where I was I checked order and order did not say flat 8. Very disappointed

Best Chinese take away in Bracknell, always hot and tasty. Never had a bad take away from here, very Fast delivery, usually use just eat app to order never had any issues.

Best Chinese takeaway service in town! Fact. I must've ordered over 15 times from them now and I've never had a bad meal, everything comes piping hot, within the time specified. The crispy dick is always succulent. The chow mein portions are huge! My favourite would be the beef in yellow sauce with cashews.

Ok this time around as usual. Sadly the next time I ordered we were kept waiting an hour before receiving an email telling us the takeaway had declined our order. Unlikely we will be risking ordering again.
