Place two identical orders, but one WITHOUT nuts. Received our orders and they failed to label which dish contained nuts! Had to sieve through the meagre meal to figure it out. BEWARE PEOPLE. We were unable to contact them, as their telephone number is out of service. The portion size was small and the mixed meat was minimal and flimsy for the price...little bit a let down. Vietnamese summer rolls to start are fresh and tasty with excellent dipping sauces. Bun Tom Noodle Salad and the Com Tom prawn curry are favourites. Hits the spot every time. Add the sriracha sauce for some extra fire. We've eaten in the restaurant where the staff are attentive and the food quick out of the kitchen. Deliveries are quick and efficient and arrive in reusable containers.

Food was fine; as expected. Took my well mannered, used to being in restaurants regularly 6&8 year old's for supper. When I asked the waiter if they had a kids menu he looked at me like my children had just pooed on the table, asking if they had kids chop sticks met with equal displeasure. not a smile or glance at the kids. Pretty chill place for a casual fresh Vietnamese dinner. The only downside is the high traffic of Deliveroo riders picking up orders. They walked through the front door into the kitchen in the back at least 20-30 times throughout our dinner. The door is basically never closed for more than a few minutes, so if it’s a chilly day, you’ll be freezing inside.

This little joint is everything a pho shop should be to be authentic: not too many seats, fast service, and a big bowl of fresh, tasty pho. Though I lived in Vietnam for 20 years, north and south, I'm not a purist so I don't make any arguments for the recipe being identical to one type of pho or another; as I see it pho should reflect the neighborhood its in, but it brings me happy memories every time I tuck in here. I do have one quibble: the discontinuation (?) of the crab noodles narrows the choice for non meat-eaters but then again most pho joints don't have a very extensive menu....and the vegetarian version is delicious.

Used to be one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in East London. Their noodles and pho broth is, one of the tastier i have tried so far. However, i had to come back here and modify my review, as lately Salvation in Noodles has not only put up their prices, but also reduced their portion sizes. If you are charging £10.50 for a vegetarian Pho (more for meat/seafood options) you ought to serve a decent portion. I am visiting less these days. Apparently extra noodles in your Pho now cost a further £2. With costumer service and no starters this amounts to almost £15 for a single dish. Not impressed!

The waitress who was serving us (quite tall, blonde hair -sorry but you’re in the wrong business) was pouring some of the pho over my partner and didn’t even apologise. Then she turned on the lights when we hadn’t even finished our dinner. And we didn’t take much time either. She also didn’t say thank you or have a good night when we left. We ordered 2 bowls of chicken pho and 2 starters (tofu spring rolls and chicken wings) via deliveroo. The total cost was £30. The food was very pleasant. The chicken wings were very nice: crisp outside and succulent inside, even after the 10 minute delivery trip. The tofu spring rolls came with a nice dipping sauce. The portions of pho are generous and filling, but the chicken pieces were a bit dry and tough, which was disappointing - hence only a 4 star review.

I’ve been going to the Dalston branch for years, and after I no longer lived opposite, continued to get deliveroo and introduce friends to SIN as thought the food was always bang on. The wings especially - some of the best I’ve had in London. At this point I have to say that historically the service has been a bit on the slow side, often understaffed when busy and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a staff member smile. A minor thing that never stopped me coming back, but noticeable. Unfortunately, on Sunday 16th Sept just gone, I decided to take my flatmate out for a thank you meal, and had been raving about SIN to her for ages. I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever left a restaurant feeling so annoyed and deglected. I don’t really know where to start. We arrived at around 7/7.30, it wasn’t super busy at this point. Still a few tables free. Got seated after hovering by the waiter station for a good few minutes as the staff were chatting. I’ve been to SIN probably at least 20 times so obviously don’t need as long to order as some, but had to wait 15 minutes before I could flag the waitress down. Upon ordering, 3 items I ordered were unavailable - nobody said a thing before, including a bottle of wine I wanted. The waitress had to come back 3 times to let us know the bad news. She wasn’t apologetic at all and got quite confrontational when I suggested it may be a good idea to warn people as they are seated (I heard her do this for subsequent tables that were seated). Food arrived about 15 minutes later, before any drinks (including soft drinks). Anyway, apart from this being annoying we were trying to make the best of it. Until the wings, the wings which I’d raved about and craved so much, came out. With no sauce. Genuinely they were drier than the Sahara. I clocked it immediately and asked the waitress. Then an older lady from the kitchen came out to explain they had run out of the sauce but there was some in the batter of the wings. I asked please for a little extra sauce. Was brought some random bbq sauce. Asked the waitress again and she said it was the same sauce, the same older lady happened to bring something else to our table and I checked as I knew it wasn’t the right sauce, and she apologised and said sorry they had run out and that was an alternative. So now I’ve been lied to. Not great. Again, if I’d been told at the start this wouldn’t have been such an issue. I also asked for fish sauce when my Pho arrived, got told they had none, then saw a bottle brought to the table by us, and borrowed theirs. The Pho I ordered had ingredients missing (meatballs), again no explanation or apology or even acknowledgment. By the end of the meal I was pretty embarrassed at having brought my friend there to be honest. I asked to speak to a manager. Shock horror none was on the premises. As “compensation” the (discretionary) service charge was removed. Just not good enough at all. Even if I’d been a 1st timer, this would have been a bad experience and I wouldn’t have returned. As someone who’s been an avid fan of the brand, I felt super let down. I’ve run restaurants for years and I thought the management may want to know what’s going on down on the ground at what has the potential to be a great place.

Really disappointed. Gone down hill in every sense. My partner and I are locals and used to frequent this place a lot when it first opened. The food was amazing, the staff super nice and attentive and atmosphere was great, open but could also feel intimate. I recently took some friends here, raving about it, but... the lighting was almost dayglow. The staff were All completely new and inexperienced with the menu. The menu had changed a lot and all the best old bits were no longer cooked although still on the menu. (Took them several visits to the kitchen to find this out) The food was sooo spicy my friend just couldn't eat hers and she tried, we were starving. I had the same dish. Fortunately I had asked for a very mild version and I could only just taste mine. (I've had a bad stomach days after). My friend felt like she'd had her lips done it was soo spicy. I spoke to the manager to ask if something could be done. She immediately retreated to let her very nice, polite but inexperienced waiter to deal with it. Poor guy. They eventually took off half the price of her meal because she had drank some of the soup. Won't be going back at all. There's a much better Pho restaurant on Kingsland road, that has great food, great atmosphere, super friendly staff. Wish I'd taken my guests there. Do not recommend.

So, first off let me start with... The food was good, geat flavours, and decent presentation for a small cafe... And clearly they're reputation speaks volumes as the place only opens at 6pm, and at 6.45pm when we got there it was already packed. BUT (and this is a big but for me...) The service was terrible. I generally loathe people who leave a bad review for the sake of it, but here are my two cents.... If you know you'll get popular and busy, hire more people and ones who can cope. My boyfriend and I ordered 2.5 starters (the half being their "prawn crackers"... If you get the shredded chicken starter, do not order PC separately as a giant one comes with) and two salad mains. After reconfirming our order TWICE, they forgot the second main salad. Once they had realised (10mins after delivery of the first), they brought out the second main salad. Except it was wrong... No matter how hard the chef works and how good the produce is, if you cannot provide basic service to your customers... Well...what's the point? Will I be back? Possibly, if I'm in a bind. Would I recommend to family and friends, and say it' the best noodle place in North London? Absolutely not, not even close.

First off they didnt have any tofu and mushroom pho left so they gave me pho with just tofu, they only had one chopstick and the man kept forgetting whether I wanted to eat in or not ... on top of that got some dumplings (pork and prawn) so came to a grand total of £14. Got my food and it was basically just hot water with soy sauce some plain noodles and spring onions ..... how can they charge £7 for this ... the dumplings were also rubbery and weird tasting ... will never go back again

Picked up a takeaway, tofu and mushroom pho, there was one sliced mushroom, three pieces of tofu and three thin slices of carrot, no Vietnamese herbs, no chilli. Shame as this place used to be good.

I ordered a starter which was a mix of peanuts, onions, carrots and boiled prawns.. disgusting. I also got some hot veggie noodles which were floppy, bland, soaked into an insipid soup full of corianders.. the worst noodles I have ever tried in my life.

A great place to go for a quick and affordable dinner when you have nothing to cook at home. Normally you can just walk in and get a table. I wouldn't be surprised if that changes soon as word spreads. I think at the moment it's just people that live in the area that go here.

We popped by at 7pm to see if there was a table as the website only allows booking for parties over 4 online - so we assumed parties of 2 couldn't reserve. It was the usual "we haven't got a table but you can sit on the counter by the door" - next to the door which will open constantly and it was 2 degrees outside. A good front of house might have asked how long will you need a table as there certainly were tables for 2 and in the end when we asked another wait staff if the obviously free table was indeed free were seated there. Come on guys, get a grip.

Phoned ahead to ask if there was rice on the menu, they said yes - so I took my rather old relatives all the way to the restaurant in the cold only to find that they actually didn't serve rice (fine, it's a miscommunication, no problem, noodles are great too!) We had the beef pho instead and unfortunately that gave my brother food poisoning so that put a little damper on our trip. Would not recommend.

Great little spot that you might not always pass. It’s worth getting off the bus to pop in. The food was fresh, refreshing and really tasty. There is a good mix of healthy options and some that are more indulgent. It’s little gems like this that make London Worth it.

Really good Vietnamese food in the midst of N1. Spring rolls are much better than any standard takeaway. Plus the beef pho is top notch.

What has happened here?! I used to live around corner from Finsbury Park location and the food was great - from the noodle salads to the pho and especially the starters (chicken wings and spring rolls were amazing). I moved a bit further away and returned for the first time in over a year last night. Food was ABYSMAL. Truly terrible quality. Like they no longer care - the noodle soup was bland and oily. The prawns were pale and flavourless. The summer rolls were also flavourless and the dipping sauce tasted like it came out of a can. Restaurant used to be always be full and had a really fun vibe - last night it was empty. The lights are incredibly bright so the ambience is terrible. I even asked if they had new management and they said no - this is such a shame. Quality has taken a nosedive and I won't be coming back.

Vietnamese comfort food, fresh, full of flavour and well-priced. Restaurant needs a refurb though, it's looking tired and shabby rather than shabby chic. Still enjoyed it though.

Weekend comfort - big bowl of Pho! What better way on a Sunday than a big bowl of hot noodle soup, plenty of beef and fresh herbs. The weekend special comes with one selection of either a spring or summer roll with dipping sauce, for 9.99. Unbeatable. Round 2: Tried the sticky chicken wings and tofu salad starters. Highly recommended!! see photos.

Basic dining experience but tasty food. We enjoyed the vegan tofu curry and the summer rolls, the pho was quite bland but ok. These three dishes were plenty for a meal for two and came to £31. Servic
