Waka Asian Fusion in Belfast

I went to Waka in Lisburn today and I must say it was good. The drink was very refreshing and I enjoyed every little bite of my meal. It was just the right spice to get the kick that I needed. The portion size was good and it came with a drink which I think is just incredible especially with the price of the food. I recommend it especially if you want to enjoy some good food without breaking the bank.

2-3 stars at best. Has went downhill recently. Too busy. Quality has suffered. You can’t pay by card either

Absolutely disgusted in this place! Drove out of our way to come here as we heard good reviews! I asked for beef n black bean sauce and chips! What I got was black water with no blackbean in it! Tasteless dried up, chewy beef and the chips were skinny french fries! Absolutely gross! Waste of money! Also can’t pay by card!

got salt and chilli chicken, and a chicken curry, was top notch. only let down was the chips they where skinny 🍟 fries they don't belong with a Chinese.

Great to have a drive through Chinese option. Good value. Husband loves the salted chilli chicken and kids portions are great size. Personally not fussed on their chicken balls or bao buns. Nice in Summer to eat outside or a rainy day in the car

Food is great although I travelled 45 minutes to Waka and payed for food and my chips were not in the bag when I got home and the chips were 3.80 was disappointing.

Food was cold and soggy. Not a good tasting piece of food within the whole order. Such a waste. Chips were fried within an inch of their lives and then cold and rock hard by the time they got to me. Salted chilli chicken was cold and soggy won’t be ordering again

As good as the food is i’m very disappointed with the service. decided to order online and pick it up as we were in a rush, we arrived 5 minutes before the pick up time designated but proceeded to wait an extra 25 minutes until our food was ready, completely defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. this has been the occasion twice now. we ordered a extra sauce assuming it would come in a pot on the side like it did last time? but the sauce was poured all over our meal which just ruined it. onto of paying extra for a sauce that they poured all over our meal we were charged an extra 10p for a bag without the option of opting out of it. just shocking service for such good food.

Awful. Second time food has arrived freezing and rock hard with missing items yet again but never answer the phone to solve these problems. Will never order from here again awful food and abysmal service.

I love ordering from here. Their salted chilli chips and curry sauce are so great together. We also always get the duck in peking sauce which is lovely as the duck doesn’t have too much fat on it and the portion sizes are really good. They also gave us 2 bags of crackers even though we only ordered one which was really nice of them. The only reason it was late was because the delivery driver went to the wrong apartments but it was still warm when it arrived.

The food is lovely here, but my only criticism would be the chips. Nobody wants french fries in a Chinese meal. Salt and Chilli chips would have been gorgeous, except it was french fries!!

I had the Char Sui satay and it was just amazing together with the garlic fries, will definitely recommend.

This is a really nice place if u are craving for Asian food in Belfast. Their portion size is also quite filling. It is really full of the meat and loaded with veggies. A good choice to make.

ordered at 8pm, I rang 21.30 to cancel as was taking to long for just one meal. was then told it was on way and I'd not be charged because of the time scale then to be rang 15 mins later for them to say they can't do this as they would still be charged. I never wanted it even if it was free due to the duration especially a monday evening. they said it was out for delivery with 4 others. so clearly waiting for more delivery's before sending it. disappointed and won't be ordering again.

The chips are terrible, over cooked wouldn’t be in it. My partner soaked them in honey chilli and were still hard as hell. Food has definitely went down in standards, I forgot all about it that the last time we got food the chips were the same.

Order did not arrive and phoned restaurant and delivery driver came on the phone very cheeky and was arguing when we complained about our food not being delivered they claimed to have given it to someone out on the street and did not deliver it to the door! Very unprofessional!

Completely wrong order of £45 delivered. Receipt had been removed from the bag. Unable to contact Waka takeaway as telephone was engaged for over 30 minutes

the order was not delivered at all, there was a delivery code which was not used as another person happily accepted (stole) my food. the delivery charge was not refunded and this has ruined my night. the restaurant was not accepting any calls after trying to call them for 15+ minutes. what a waste of my time. delivering food should not be a hard task.

This place has excellent authentic Asian fusion foods. Hot and fresh from the kitchen. I got the chicken pad Thai was very delicious and the right amount of spice the chicken pieces were lovely and soft. Got can of boba milk tea to have with it. Perfect.
