Lovely meal last night. Ordered from the app. Very busy! Good portion sizes. Salt and chilli chicken was excellent. Limited parking as shares carpark with a fast food outlet. Only a few sit in tables but that didn't worry us as we were taking out. Will definitely be back.

I recently visited Waka and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The troubles began with the staff member who not only overcharged me for my drink but also entered it incorrectly in the system. This mistake was only revealed when I heard my order number called out even though we ordered table service, forcing me to retrieve it myself. To add insult to injury, when I finally received my order, the food was wrapped like a delivery meaning we had to unwrap it all at our table and the chips were lukewarm at best. Adding to the chaos, my friend's order was completely wrong; he requested noodles but was given rice instead. The state of the restaurant was equally dismal, with dust accumulating everywhere and a messy floor that reflected a lack of cleanliness. Needless to say, this experience was highly disappointing, and I have no intentions of returning.

Very poor. Beef pork prawn chicken everything, extremely unimaginative and uninteresting menu. Also food hygiene must be a problem, a number of us were ill after the meal.

Unbelievable Chinese. Drove from the north coast and would happily do that every time we want a Chinese. The portions are huge, definitely would share next time but also glad for the leftovers. Such a good price for the size of the food too. The drive thru wait is long but it's so busy and popular so the fact they can even cater for that amount of orders is crazy (Saturday night, drive thru, arrived about 7.20pm and waited 40 mins). 100000% be back! 🤤

Horrible experience. Ordered online for deliver after 2 hours still no sign of food. Try calling the restaurant multiple times and did not receive any answer. Extremely unprofessional

I arrived in the drive thru shortly before 9pm, was not able to order my food until 9:46pm as i had to sit and wait in the line for almost an hour, no apologies given and awful customer service as i was rudely thrown the food and told to leave the drive thru, unacceptable behaviour and would not recommend to anyone in the future

My brother and his girlfriend came here last night, i haven’t been speaking to them to ask what the food quality was like, but obviously after reading other reviews this place has awful hygiene. My brother has developed food poisoning and was up from 5am last night vomiting etc. I have no doubt the food here is to blame as people have reported finding bugs, hair and also catching food poisoning from here. This is unacceptable and has happened to others according to previous reviews. This is repulsive, will not be eating here again and will discourage anyone who suggests it.

Regular lunchtime "treat". Food really tasty. Service is quick. It's a carry out that you can eat in. Definitely worth a visit.

WOW!! Amazing!!! So worth the wait if there’s a queue at the drive through. I enjoy the novelty of waiting, even though you could go to another Chinese and get the same thing. Vegan options are class, I especially love their honey chilli sauce!!! Their salted chilli chips too - so unique. Hot. Great presentation. Travels well. Super friendly and helpful staff.

We got a takeaway on Tuesday afternoon it only took them about 10mins to bring it out my partner and I had the worst vomiting and everything else all night to the point we couldn't go to work the next day really bad food hygiene this is just to warn people I am getting in contact with food agency we still aren't able to eat don't settle for bad food

Been a regular customer for a long time now and food has always been great but unfortunately they had reduced the portion sizes to almost half the size, used to get food in a cardboard container now they have changed to the old plastic takeaway containers, such a shame, defo not worth the money

Food was tasty, good flavours. However pricey. Spring rolls were empty - where was the veg in them and I'm not exaggerating? Barely there. The chips are McDonald's chips, I prefer my Chinese chips to be thicker to mop up sauce. Just okay overall.

Was in tonight, Saturday and I know it's probably the busiest night of the week but it was utter chaos. I had placed an order online, arrived 40 mins later and couldn't get my car off the boucher road due to the queue for the drive-thru. After eventually parking, I went in and had to wait another 20 mins for my order. The place was chaos with nobody knowing which queue had ordered or had not ordered. A sign above the counter to tell people where to collect online orders would be very helpful as well as someone organising the queue, or tensa barriers infront of the counter at the least. I would be reluctant to return, which is a pity as the foods lovely.

Both of our meals where drowned in sauce. So the rice and chips were sort of floating in it. Also pushed toward a lunchbox menu that wasn't on the menu and wasn't really cheaper but was a limited menu. Way too much chilli on salted chilli chicken. Unfortunately not good enough to warrent coming back.

Will never eat here again. Found a bug in the take out food I purchased. Packaged the food back up and brought it back to the restaurant and very discretely asked a staff member to the side to explain the situation. Instead of being understanding and apologetic, certain staff members verbally abused and mocked me and my mother. No refund was given, and instead we got screamed at and told to come back tomorrow and bring the food with us then. Do not eat here, completely disrespectful and nasty for no reason whatsoever with obvious health and safety issues.

I don’t know how this place has a 4.4 rating. A BUG WAS FOUND IN MY PARTNERS FOOD and when they brought the food back and discreetly informed the staff one of the staff members became verbally abusive and actually mocked my partner and her mother! This woman with glasses should be ashamed of herself, and she actually had the cheek to say to my partner “people like you are ruining small businesses”, again the staff where informed very discreetly, the staff member was the one who caused a scene. Absolute disgrace! I don’t believe this reflects on the entire staff but solely this individual. Reading older reviews there was also a fly found in someone else’s food so this is clearly an ongoing issue! Waka sort your health and safety out, and sort that staff member. AVOID THIS PLACE and give OTHER small businesses the custom instead.

Tried today was great huge portions. Closest I've gotten to American style chain Chinese food outside of the US. If they had a combo box of two sauces with Rice or noodles I'd be back anytime I'm in Belfast.

We had an awful experience on Saturday night with one of the drivers. I have been trying to contact a senior staff member since with no luck. I will not order from here again such a pity as the food is usually good

Food was very late and cold. Driver got lost. Was soo rude and had his young daughter with him wielded out a few ready made excuses including that we had blocked her number despite her calling us after this was supposed to have happened. Complained via just eat and the attitude was worse. Food was tasty but cold but the customer service was colder

Used to love this place and some of the foods great especially the Yakitori and satay skewers (I could drink the sauces) but the past few times I have had the salted chilli chips and for some reason they are now getting salted to the point of being inedible and they used to be some of the best around. It's a similar situation with the black bean sauce which was nearly on bar with ChiChi in Finaghy in my eyes but again excessive salting to the point were I actually threw food out which sickens my happiness to do lol

Eat from this place often. It has always been lovely but found a hair in my food this time, all of the food went in the bin, don't think I'll ever eat out of here again, turned my stomach, so disappointed.

First time trying Waka. While the food was great, the serving staff could be better trained to deal with customers. In this instance, we ordered to collect via Just Eat. We were told our food would be ready at 7:13, but we had to wait a bit longer. I don’t mind waiting, but we waited 25 minutes just to be told by the blonde server (while she laughed) that our food had been sitting ready for ages, with no apology for our extended wait, or for our colder food. As mentioned, I don’t mind waiting, but when we are made to wait 25 minutes unnecessarily, with no apology offered, it made the whole experience sour. So the food was great, but staff were not.

I've been thinking about going here for some time now and I'm glad I did. Wow love it and I'll be back. The Salt & Chilli Chicken was yummy and very hot 🔥 🥵. The Beef Fried Rice was very nice, the beef was so tender. Way more food than I could eat at the time, but that's not a bad thing as that's my lunch for work.

An asian fusion destination that displays the calories for 99% of the menu. Can recommend the bao buns and prawn chow mein ☺️

Went to the drive through, ordered chicken and black bean sauce, salt and chili chicken, 2x rice, 2x chips curry sauce and spare ribs. Didn't give us the curry sauce but charged us for it. Chips were cold, salt and chili chicken tasted like they poured a kilo of salt into the tub, ribs had no meat just fat, only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the overpriced rice was nice

Take away with tables to eat in. Food is top rate,had singapore fried rice which was hot to taste, starter of satay chicken skewers. Fed two of us and not able to finish. Staff are friendly and helpful. Don't expect crockery, it's plastic forks and knives with aluminium tubs instead of plates. Prices are as anywhere but well worth it for food quality is class. Throughly recommend

If a table is available select your food choice walk up to the counter order and pay, the food is available very quickly and brought to your table with recyclable items. I really enjoyed the experience.

Can understand why the queue is so long as the food is very good quality, tasty and the portion size are substantial. The Chicken balls were the highlight as they weren’t full of batter or grease. Only downside is the workers aren’t that friendly.

This was possibly the worst chinese I have had in a while . I had to rinse and disinfect my mouth as I was getting ulcers just from how salty the food, I think they put a whole bottle of salt on the chips and I see the other reviews also complained. In terms of the chicken dish it had practically no veg and it was just horrible . Avoid.

I normaly love satay sauce.but omg wakas satay is far to hot for me my mouth is on fire. Chips very very salty (please dont salt the chips) dont think i will be able to eat to much of it.

Such a lovely experience! Ordered take-away for 5 staff on our ward and the staff kindly provided some free drinks. Staff were kind and had our food ready to go when we arrived to collect it. Great portion sizes and food itself was fab!

My favourite place to go to almost weekly.

Food service is fast and the food is tasty as well. Not a fan of beef being too chewy so didnt enjoy the beef much.

Went here for dinner and not to impressed with the food not much flavor to it and the dishes you had to eat out off was a tin dish. Service was quick but think it's over priced.

Asian drive-thru in Belfast? You bet! I chose the Korean chilli chicken Lunch box, a huge portion! The service was faster then I anticipated, polite and friendly. Bringing a main menu box home after work is my next endeavor, though I would also want to try their sushi.

Love the food here it's really good quality although last time I got the chicken satay skewers and found them abit to salty for my liking. But everything else has all been great.

Food is great and massive portions. Only thing I would recommend is setting out on the online menu if the fried or boiled rice is vegan as I couldn't eat mine as there looked like there's egg in it. Otherwise, super

Incredible food- and so cheap for how much you get! Shocking amount of tofu in the vegetarian dishes. We'll definitely be back!
