Chi Chi Asian Kitchen in Belfast

After a slight delay we received or order. Delivery driver was nice and pleasant. We ordered sliced chicken with curry and chips. The reason was because my wife does not like bones on chicken because of a bad experience choking on a chicken bone and being hospitalised. When we got our food it was a whole chicken breast on the bone. We had to bin all the food because of this unfortunately. Will not order again.

The best black bean sauce I have tried anywhere in South Belfast hands down, it's not watery nor is it like a lazy change to a black pepper it's simply outstanding! Excellent Chicken gyozas with a dipping vinegar that I could drink and a fantastic Satay either as a meal or on skewers as a starter its great! Honestly doesn't look like much outside or in but the kitchen is clean and the owner/ head chef is a very nice guy and the foods always great.

Within half an hour of eating my meal I had throwing it all back up have been up all night stomach in bits feeling really Ill when I felt fine before have seen another review with the same sort of thing horrendous and regret ordering out of here now

I have been a regular customer here for years and have always enjoyed their food. However Monday night I realised just how little respect they have for their customers. I ordered food for nearly £30 and was missing half the meal which left someone hungry without any food. We called chichi and explained that we were mising half the food. We called a further 6 times and had our number was blocked because they didn't believe we were telling the truth. We were called a liar several times over the phone which was incredibly disrespectful. The staff should have been able to rectify a simple make without shouting over the phone. Avoid at all costs.

The food at Chi Chi is tasty, but last night when I came to collect my order it had been made wrong (sauce put on rather than on the side). I was happy to take it as was, but wasn't offered that option; it was taken back and the lady at the desk said she would take it home. Nobody apologised, the chef looked very unhappy, and I had to stand and wait while the order was re-made; I wouldn't have minded this if I'd even been asked what I would prefer! I've come to Chi chi for years but this along with prices going up to make it very expensive and charging for prawn crackers now as well, I won't be back

Great food. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Good location for picking up although delivery is also available.

It's a shame I like their food as much as I do, because they have a habit of consistently not delivering the full order. The last time this happened, I was unable to get in contact with the restaurant as they did not answer the phone when called.

Food was a full hour late, staff lied on the phone, driver got the address wrong. Worst of all were the attitudes of the owner on the phone and the driver in person - couldn't have cared less.

Food took 1 hour and 40 mins to arrive. Staff were extremely unfriendly over the phone. Food was freezing and hair was in food. Wouldn’t recommend.

The food was completely inedible, genuinely tasted so far from a normal Chinese it made me wonder if I had COVID-19 and I got tested. The chicken could only be described as mushy and the curry sauce tasted more like deodorant than curry

Yet again I was given something else to what I ordered. This time it was Chicken Chop Suey rather than Beef! It was bland! Will not be back. Your loss! Avoid at all cost!!!!

Hit or miss some nights very nice other the chicken is stringy bad quality, now the prices have went up its not worth the risk

As per other reviews staff really rude and don't listen I ask for my food to be cooked a certain way and got complete opposite on able to eat disgusting all went in bin driver also rude I was addressed at my door with err is this yours RUDE not hello or any other polite speech so was s waste of £35 never again first and last time. They say first impressions count they definitely do in this case also driver did not wear a face mask

Always ordered from here and was always happy until this evening. Waited on order for 1hr 30 mins and rang only to be spoken to by owner in a very rude tone as order hadn't even left yet. Well if thats how you speak to your customer ... no thanks !!! I wont ever order from here again !!!

Best Chinese in my area 😋 Amazing spicy dishes! Spicy, fresh onion stripes fits there perfectly. Big pieces of onion are disgusting you can find them too but not in salted chilly dishes. Little bit too much vinegar in soses. But in general everything else is vert good. Love unique chicken balls taste like donut with chicken ❤

Delicious Chinese I ordered on just eat. The delivery driver forgot to bring the drinks and soon came back with them which not many do. Very friendly thanks again

Must have been a world record for delivery timing! Food came within 15 minutes of ordering on Just Eat and the driver arriving. Good food as always.

Usually a favourite of ours but unfortunately had a recent disappointment with poor service from the delivery driver who was rude and had an aggressive tone after a mix up with the order.

Nice Chinese - try the salt and chilli prawns.

Great Chinese takeaway make sure you pay with cash as it doesn't have a card machine

a friend recommended this place and I could not have asked for better service! The chef personally greeted me and helped me make my choices. The food was superb - particularly the black bean beef dish and the chicken curry. I’ve been back multiple times since and would thoroughly recommend to all!

Rubbish food frozen chips that still look frozen even after cooking spring roll absolutely disgusting two small rolls with what looked like carrot and lettuce yuk never go back there

I used to love this Chinese but realise why the scores have continued to go down. Ordered no veg, got veg. There's other grips I've shrugged off in the past about quality of certain items but I'm done now, better options nearby

Food is good just don't order online as they may charge you and not send the order. The system they use is broken and doesn't sent the order to the takeaway. I ordered online twice and did not receive my food and when I called to ask why they argued with me that I hadn't ordered or paid even with my bank account being debited. They wouldn't even go and check for me.

I ordered the Szechwan style sautéed aubergine with chicken. I collected my order but when I arrived home, the aubergine was not in it. I called ChiChi kitchen to tell them about the mistake they had made. I was greeted by a very angry chef who advised me that they don't include aubergine because other customers don't like it. He insisted that the order was not wrong and that I should be happy with it as "it tastes nice". When I explained to him that he had not prepared the meal as advertised. He proceeded to shout down the phone and argue with me. Do not order food from here unless you're prepared to receive a totally different dish and be shouted at. Very disappointed.
