The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Asian food

The restaurant is a little shabby but the food is outstanding. We arrived 45 minutes before they closed so were told we could only choose main dishes. They gave us 2 separate menus - one of the "Anglicised" usual Chinese dishes that you'd expect to see; the other contained traditional Hong Kong dishes. We ordered from the latter & then discovered that the portions were huge! We had tomato & egg; lotus root, potato & sticky rice cakes in sizzling spicy pot then king prawns in a Typhoon Shelter sauce. Stunning. Can't wait to go back.

The food is very tasty. The lunch set is especially good value and I have used it many times.

TA is so useful, if you read between the lines, gives an idea from best to worst reviews. Categorically, cannot recommend Dim T in Winchester. The food is "edible" but by no means warrants spending your hard-earned. There were only three other tables occupied when we visited, 4 waiting staff and still, the service was shocking. One perfectly pleasant, older lady, a youngster and "I surmise", a husband & wife team? "The wife" certainly needs re-training in customer service, may be a bad day, who knows? Winchester is such a beautiful city, with many wonderful eating places, just not here!

I have eaten here many times, the location is great, as is the food and service.

Buf, no sabría decir nada bueno, creo. Tienen un plato, el típico de bowl de arroz, que tienes que elegir si lo quieres con carne de ternera, cerdo o pescado. Te sirven un bowl ardiendo con carne sin hacer que le tienes que dar vueltas y se va haciendo con el resto de ingredientes que te ponen. Te tienes que poner una salsa que hacen ellos y al final se forma una maseta con carne muy hecha (porque el bowl no deja de estar ardiendo ni en una hora) y te quemas siempre. Para no volver :)

Quería ir por siglos y estaba emocionado de probar varios platos. Lamentablemente no cumplió en absoluto. Llegamos para encontrar varios artículos de tofu no estaban disponibles. Tampoco el arroz de coco, dejándonos con un arroz frito de huevo bastante seco. El brócoli "bang bang" no era ni remotamente bang, no importa doble bang. Insípido y aceitoso - horas después todavía puedo sentir la grasa en mi cara. Nuestras placas terminadas tardaron 20 minutos en despejarse. Luego miramos la cuenta para ver que las galletas saladas que nos habían OFRECIDO a la llegada eran en realidad £ 4. 10 . La camarera necesita modificar cómo surge su amable oferta, ya que eso se siente bajo tierra. No voy a volver.

Great overall experience, delicious food and attentive staff. We were looked after by Shaz who did a fantastic job. Will be back.

This restaurant is amazing from the service (including interactions with our child making her laugh giving her bloons and much more!) Food was amazing so fresh, smelt delicious and was quick from ordering to table service! And mostly Amazing quality for price! The atmosphere in here is so welcoming and such a loverly vibe exactly whats needed after a long day! Thank you so much to everyone at Kirthon you guys are amazing we will be back regularly thats for sure! Also the first Indian to serve pizza too and they was absolutely delicious

La comida es increíble como siempre, muy bien situado y conocido por la comida y la hospitalidad, nos encantó la comida y la gente allí, es el mejor lugar si quieres tratarte papilas gustativas.

Really lovely clean and good quality food. The service was nice too (one more friendly than the other but both fine). One small thing was that the Chinese wall feature of dark wood pieces was very dusty. A real pain to clean regularly I realise but as it is at direct eye level if sitting at a wall table then maybe dust even only that eye level. BUT such lovely food at a good price and we WILL be back 😊

A family favourite for many years. Great Sunday buffet, the all you can eat option is cooked to order from a decent menu. Great personable service from Singh (?spelling) and the other waitress

The atmosphere was great and it's definitely worthy of a 5 ⭐ rating! I attended for the "Speed Dating" that was done at this place and the experience was enjoyable. It was also a learning curve, as I didn't do so well and got 0 matches. I think that was my fault, due to no physical contact, although confidence + eye contact were perfect. There were also only 3x ladies present, so it wasn't the best and it greatly limited choice and chance for additional dates. Overall, a nice experience and would definitely recommend it if you are single!

Fantastic inventive Thai food leveraging seasonal ingredients. Perfectly made cocktails. Bustling but relaxed atmosphere. If you can sit at the bar by one of the chefs, do so. They’ll tell you (some of) their secrets.
