The person I spoke to on the telephone regarding my dissatisfaction about my food order should not be in the Indian food business because he hasn't got a clue he told me we don't put salt in the rice and nan bread so it has no taste and also before I had the chicken tikka jalfrez the chicken was bland I'm Indian and no what it should taste like go to Indian and taste real Indian food not this.

Excellent vegetarian selection. Delicious Paneer with veg. Mango lassi highly recommend.

Just had an amazing Indian takeaway, and I couldn't be more satisfied! The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, while the garlic naan was soft and full of flavor. Every dish was packed with bold, authentic spices that hit the right balance. Delivery was quick, and the food arrived hot. Highly recommend if you're craving a delicious, comforting Indian meal!

Generraly everything was great. Only one minor minus for salad which turned out to be choped onion only.

Don't bother getting the Monday deal it took almost 2 hours and my bombay potatoes didn't come with the order. Wont be ordering from here again after being a loyal customer for so long.

The food is really good and they gave me also a complementary poppadom. It arrived way earlier than expected. I will definitely be ordering again!

Great food , always a regular, never disappoints , have a wide menu so always trying something new and they never let me down. 5 stars from me.

Cons: Delivery took over an hour, food wasn't hot, smaller portions and lamb rogan josh wasn't tender enough. Pros: Food was flavourful and not greasy, the paratha was well made, came with free poppadom and fresh onion salad, good value for money overall. I would like to order again. Hopefully the lamb will be softer.

We always go for the prawn puri and the bangla king prawn biryani, prawn puri is the best thing I’ve ever had, the puri is amazingly soft and so tender, I crave it every time now, my new fave Indian takeaway shop!

Seems the food is dropping in standards

Onion barges were very hard and flat and dry . Chicken korma the chicken was very dry overall quite poor.

Have different people taken over usually really enjoy from here order was wrong then questioned me about it then the chicken was inedible Was disgusting!

I’ve eaten from here 3 times. Bangla biriyani was very nice. One of the times I had it though, was completely flavourless, all it has was spice. I’m hoping that was an off day. Maybe the chef was having issues. The chicken tikka masala has always been upto standard. Having worked in an Indian kitchen myself, I can vouch for them in that regard. Tandoori wings are very nice, peshwari naan could do with some work. It’s just desiccated coconut and falls out. Keema nan which I had, the keema ended up on one side of the nan, and the rest was basically a plain nan. Needs a little more attention when rolling it out. Order notes clearly were not read, as I asked for tarka dhal with biriyani and specified NO VEG CURRY - in capital letters. Still got given a veg curry. That was very disappointing. Overall, good food, just a few issues as mentioned above. I will give this place another 1-2 tries and see how I get on. EDIT: I’ve been eating from here on a very regular basis since my review and they have always been consistent with the quality and flavour of the food. The BEST Indian (Bangladeshi) takeaway in a 20 mile radius.

The biriyani had absolutely no taste what so ever, there was no salt looked amazing looked like it would be full of flavour it tasted quite the opposite and I’ve eaten from here before. Utterly disappointed. I don’t know what this is but there was no taste, waste of money on this occasion and won’t be ordering again

Some items taste great, others bland and overly greasy. Delivery driver was rude and immediately shouted at us about a lack of parking when we opened the door - even though there is a place to temporarily park a car for deliveries.

First time customer of The Bhaji. I've been a Canary Wharf resided for a few years but first time I've tried. Food was great. Fresh and super tasty.

Use to be good. Not any more. Been eating here many years. Probably a new chef that cooks. The meat in lamb madras was so hard, not cooked enough to soften it. Charge a few pennies extra and cook that lamb for about another 30 minutes.

I’ve been ordering from bhaji since 2019 and never complained about anything. They’re Legend. Top-Notch quality and super affordable dish prices. Always been a Madras fan, but i think i am enjoying Jalfrazi more nowadays! Garlic nan and tikka kebab plater are must try. 100% recommended.

Food quality is too poor....don't even maintain hygiene. I found hair inside the food as well as rotten smell.

Omg must say I've always supported and loved this take away for years but have they changed the chef my meal this weekend was amazing everything the rice the curry's the salad so fresh and the chicken tikka starter wow young staff welcoming and polite recommend would rate 10 stars keep doing what ur doing ur loving neighbours from the crescent oh nearlyly fogot the orange sorbet ina orange well u gotta try it 1010 always went for lemon they run out bless em so took the orange and I was a pound short he.let me off lool so give em a try

Paneer Masala curry was too sweet. Less sweet would taste much better.

Food was very nice and fresh. Arrived hot and on time. Very happy with the quality of what we received. Only one small criticism we ordered a sag aloo but got an extra pilau rice. Despite this would order again was very tasty.

Food is always great, Tasty and hot on arrival. Delivery time does tend to creep close to the hour mark. Only thing I would say that is negative about this restaurant is the portion of meat you get in the sauces. I counted 3 pieces of lamb in my Lamb Bhuna… for £8.50 I thought I might get a few extra pieces. Other than that a decent meal as usual.

Bangla biryani was damn spicy, we have ordered multiple times from here hence not rating it very low but this time it was very very spicy.

The food is consistently delicious and order notes are always followed

Paneer Tikka was full of Oil and spices and I didn't like the taste. Would not recommend. The restaurant also didn't put the invoice in the order and when I called they asked to me check with Delivery service and there is no way to call Delivery service :(

The worst indian food in docklands! Meat was so tough and chewy and even the naan was undercooked. And they use so much food colouring that my fingers are stained red! Disgusted.

Absolutely great food in decent price! Service is quick and excellent, staff are welcoming and friendly. All foods are palatable but butter chicken and Tikka biryani is what I loved. I highly recommend this place for spicy food lovers.

Interestingly they offer free delivery on above 12£ orders within 3 miles radius. I would definitely visit again and order delicious foods from bhaji. Highly Recommended.

The chops were so tough. Ordered jalfraizi but it was more like a curry with a couple of chillies in it. Tasted bad.

The bangla biryani is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. I’ve recommended it to so many people who love it as well. Perfect level of spice, meat is always juicy and tender. Great portion size too!!

While the food was delivered on the shown time, the wait of 50 mins is a lot. Moreover the taste of the food is bad (to say the least). Burnt Paranthas with extra sweet and undercooked curry.

This is our go-to Indian takeaway. Food is always 10/10. The lamb tikka bhuna is a game changer and is my new favourite Indian main dish. The Bombay aloo and the onion bhajis are spot on.

Over hour late quality of food went down absolutely rubbish I have another favourite Indian ROMAN TANDOORI GUYS. Avoid this place food quality absolutely rubbish and delivery it’s a joke package everything spilled on the bag complaint has been logged just eat look into it. Not recommend chef is unskilled charging exorcist and quality not even street quality after using them for many years now I finally came to decision they are rubbish

Prawn korma and chicken tikka both were sweet in taste. Asian people love spicy! And pilau rice wasnt up to the mark. Portiom made me dissappointed. Overall not recommended

The dishes didn’t taste well at all. Lemon rice was bitter and was nowhere near the true recipe. Panneer dishes were bland and probably chef forgot to add salt. By far the worst food I ordered in London. Will never order again.

Food is delicious as always, I ordered the lamb bangla biryani (and other things) and it was fab. Only thing I have to say is the butter chicken was odd… tasted a lot more like a korma. I’ve never had a butter chicken so pale in colour and not spicy at all, it was sweet? Makes me think maybe they got my order wrong, not sure. It wasnt terrible but I just wasnt a fan of whatever the dish was…. Overall would still recommend this place.

I have been eating here for a few years now, their biryani is so good mashallah. I normally order over the phone but the one time I did attend and make an order the young brother at the front gave me an item off the menu on the house which shows how they are as a business. I wish the owners lots of barakah and longevity!

Literally the best takeaway out there. The biryani is the best. The mango sauce is 10/10. There’s nothing I wouldn’t say to improve on. Chicken jalfrezzi is fire! I order every other week. My family love it
