Food was disgusting could tell it was old and not fresh, peas in rice were dried out they were so old. delivery took forever.

Food was cold, delivery was 30 mins late, drinks were missing, no sources provided. By the time drinks came my meal was finished.

Very polite staff, food is always perfectly cooked, portions are great.

rating only low because they had to come back with my drink and I didn't get half my wings I ordered, charged for 10 and got 5

I've just reported that part of the meal deal was missing (the chips). The only option for refund was the whole meal to be refunded. This is just to say that I don't expect the whole refund, just the price of the chips. Food wise, the wraps were lovely, the loaded fries not so.

I’ve been using this Indian takeaway for a few years now, and always found their dishes to be excellent, the spicing of their dishes is spot on, the depth of flavour you get is excellent, the only peculiarity is they always give you a small pot of mint sauce to go with your curry, but no Papadom, for me it’s pointless having mint sauce if you haven’t got a Papadom to dip into it

Ordered a biryani on Uber eats. Nothing tasteful about it. Should’ve ordered after going through the reviews. Not a good experience.

I'm no stranger to curry as I grew up eating my Aunties home cooked food. I can honestly say the flavours captured by this place are very good. However I've had to mark it down for a reason. We ordered a prawn and lamb dish this time, but there was hardly any fish or meat in the dish. It was all mainly sauce and teeny tiny prawns. I know due to circumstances everyone is cutting down here and there but here it was really noticed. Customer is king.. if they're pleased they'll always come back.

The food that arrived looked nothing like the images. Wrap was really flat and didn’t contain any salad, chips were soggy and anaemic, and cauliflower was vastly overpriced for just four florets. Would not recommend. The only positive was that the delivery was quick and the driver was friendly and polite.

If you wanna burger get it from Burger King. Double the burger 2/3 of the price. Wrap so full of juice you need a knife and fork to eat it. More taste in a Zinger burger from KFC. Chips not cooked, well underdone, for £4 no way. Taking the mick. Will not be using again

We’re thinking this takeaway is either under new management or they have a new chef. Ordered a lamb chilli garlic, chicken tikka, saag aloo, mushroom rice, spicy and plain papadums, a chapati and the only thing that was edible was the rice. The rest of it was awful, some of the pieces of lamb were cooked and some were hard, the chicken was dry and tasteless no tandoori flavours at all. The papadums tasted stale and the saag aloo was vile I wasn’t sure what it was when I took the lid off the potatoes were all stuck together and were dark browny red in colour. Paid by card and didn’t get a receipt which by law they have to provide a xard receipt. This take away was our go to but sadly we will not be ordering again.

Tasty food. We ordered and it came on time. We enjoyed a lot. We had Chicken Biryani, which is so delicious. Would like to try again definitely. Would like to recommend to all people who love Indian foods.

There is no doubt the food is good food but something shady going on here. It's not uncommon for restaurants to add items onto your bill when you eat out in India and that practice seems to have found a home here too. The young lad you served me was caught out when I asked for a receipt. What really gets me is being charged prices significantly higher than they are written on the menu. Like an extra £1 on most items. If you look on their website, just eat and their menu in store they are all different prices but what I got charged for actually going to the store was more than it would have been to get it delivered? I'm perplexed. Buyer beware.

I was initially disappointed that my chicken tikka wrap was cold but the restaurant explained that it was because the wrap was untoasted, and the salad and sauce cooled the chicken down. Having eaten half of the wrap (because it was huge)! My opinion changed, it was tender,juicy, and very tasty. Hubby loved his lamb wrap with the hot chilli sauce. We'll definitely order again , but next time I'll have a toasted wrap. The manager was exceptionally polite and helpful as well.

The chips tasted like old oil and had a funny smell to them I didn’t get hardly any cheese on my chips £6 off for them it’s a rip off.. also the lamb samosas were anaemic and under cooked 🤢, the burger was ok.. don’t rate it that much. On the menu it looks very appetising but it isn’t.. just made to look and taste good. I would give it a 5/10 not even that to be honest. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Don't know if they have changed hands or just changed staff but I would usually give 5 stars but this one arrived after a good and a half after ordering and was cold when we got it at 11pm. It was still tasty so I've given 3.

Sorry guys. Appalling experience of first takeaway from you tonight. Chicken tikka bhuna madras. 6 pieces of chicken (didn’t look much or taste like tikka) 4 of the 6 were undercooked and inedible. Sauce was madras hot but thin with no other flavour other than chilli. Bhuna should be thick, unctuous and flavourful. This wasn’t. Won’t be returning.

Don’t bother unless you like curry that has no flavour and tastes like sugar.

Awful. Worst Indian food we have ever eaten. Tandoori chicken isn’t done in a tandoori oven, it’s all sweaty and no char on it and everything else we ordered tastes exactly the same, pure salt… and the naan’s are stone cold!! Salad in cheap plastic bags looks disgusting.. never again!!

Amazing food served here, the best Indian we have tried. Very good website and staff are always helpful. Very good veggie and vegan range too. The food always arrives super quick. They really need to open a restaurant. It would be really busy!

Ordered a large order for my family and I, have never ordered from here before. When it arrived, it wasn’t very hot and we needed to heat up some dishes. I had a king prawn bhuna and have never tasted anything so bland. It tasted like prawns in water. My husband had a king prawn curry and said the same thing. The onion bhagi’s had a very strange texture and taste and overall it was really disappointing. It was edible, but the fact it had absolutely no flavour means I wouldn’t order from them again.

Food is always amazing, especially the tikka chips. Customer service is excellent.

Food was absolutely delicious. Tandoori platter was to die for. Papadoms are amazing and customer service is excellent. Love the fact they have taken safety precautions due to covid-19. Hand sanitizer are also available for customers to use on collection. Would 100% would recommend.

Taste of Bombay is my go to place! Amazing food along side exceptional customer service. The food is outstanding, mu personal favourite is the tikka chips. I can guarantee no one does tikka chips like they do and that's just the beginning. I would happily go back to Taste of Bombay and I would definitely recommend it to others. Worst Indian i have ever had! Balti was tasteless and looked like something my cat had done! Vile! Vegetable curry had two tiny pieces of potatoe in and that was it!

Late order as they were still open, when our normal place was shut, but they must have been shutting down and took out order when they probably shouldn't have?? Garlic chilli chicken but had a plain, flavourless, mediocre sauce with literally raw onion and garlic and no sign of any chilli at all? Naan bread was also under cooked and just how much can you charge for a lemon rice!!! Very disappointing and we wont be ordering from here again.

I used to rate this place very highly and used this place regularly I have 3 times in the bounce had shocking and appalling food it has been a joke the first time the food was cold and very greasy/oily the second time the food was undercooked I mean literally both curry’s and the tandoori mixed grill was well undercook as it was late I had to wait till the next day to take the food back And get a refund which they then made me return back for at 7pm as they had no money I got Told that they would put a note on the system that I would get a discount on my next order I mentioned this on my third try with this place and he gave me so much attitude and made me feel like a scrounge but I felt it was the least they could do as it was my second bad experience on the bounce I got my Food it was freezing Cold and nasty it went straight in the bin never order from These

Food is less than mediocre. Chicken wasn't desirable at all. Plastic like in its consistency and too pink coloured to be edible. Sauces watery and flavourless, rice was dry and again flavourless. Even the poppadoms were lacking in charm! Also forgot to deliver on of the items bought and took 25 mins to deliver it. Won't be eating from there again.

Gorgeous food. The fact that they can adjust ingredients ( for example, asking for no chilli) is proof they cook from fresh. I've not had better food from anywhere else.

I just had poppadoms, lamb bhuna, garlic naan, onion salad, chutney, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, pilau rice, It was all unbelievably good, beautiful fresh meat, amazing flavours and such good value, visit this place and you won’t need to try anything else.

Ordered special set meal for 1 person, got something different. Onion undercooked in bhaji and the rest was just watery and tasteless, seems like no effort was put into cooking this meal, maybe taste it before sending out.

Delivery timing Was fantastic driver turn up before on time but food was absolutely rubbish second time tried them I also told them make it nice and tasty couldn’t even taste anything had to waste the food never ever going there !!!!

Staff polite (service is great), clean food, generous portions. Bombay potato is a bit to sweet does taste like sweet potatoes, naan bread was very dry & burnt, however my madras was nice but a little to sweet.

Please do not order here if you are looking for authentic Indian food. It's just sweet in all the dishes . I made a mistake ordering lot of food for the first time looking at reviews but trust me it's not good tbh. I had ordered chicken tikka, butter chicken masala(it was just sweet gravy with chicken pieces in it), Persian chicken biryani was ok but again sweetish, tandoori roti was just horrible , uncooked and very damn thick. I would never order here again and also definitely do not recommend if you are looking for authentic Indian food.

ordered food at 17:30 on xmas eve. it arrived at 19:45, and was barely warm. the chicken in the madras was like a rubber, tasteless, squidge?? the jaiphur chicken sauce was tasty, along with the lamb passander. gotta be honest, and i know it was xmas eve, but over 2 hours for food is a joke, and then the quality was poor. wont go back. advise everyone to try elsewhere first.

This is one of the only Indian restaurants that I can order from as I have a dairy intolerance and they have a varied set of vegan options. The vegan options I ordered were delicious! Very impressed. All of the vegan dishes came clearly labelled. This was a completely different experience in comparison to my attempts to order at other Indian restaurants who can never actually tell me if there is dairy in their dishes or not..! Would definitely recommend for those with intolerances/ vegan diets.

I Ordered after work and it took over an hour to receive. That was fine as I can look past that as I understand Friday night can be busy. However then we opened the order and they forgot a whole Main dish. When I called up to tell the restaurant there was no sympathy and no apology at all, just a “we will get the other main out to you on the drivers next run” when I ask how long his reply was “15-20mins”....... 35-40minutes later we get the forgotten main dish... thanks a lot. To top it all off the lamb dish I ordered was dry and the sauce was like apple sauce out of a baby food jar. Dont order from this place they have obviously don’t value customers Bit of advice to the takeaway. If you would have just said sorry i would have understood and looked past it. Not just put couple of poppadoms in the bad and think that makes it alright. Ignorant

Ordered through a food app, the restaurant didn't deliver and marked the order as delivered. I had to wait for days for a refund.

Only have the takeaway to go on here which I am a regular customer, but never been let down. Extensive menu options offering all the British Indian classics such as your vindaloos, bhunas and kormas but a wide range of more authentic Rajastan, Persian and many other different regional dishes. Option of making your dish 'balti style' instead of the balti being a dish of its own like it should be! Dishes are always cooked with plenty of sauce, even the traditionally drier dishes which I personally like and gives you more bang for your buck! Prices very reasonable for the portion sizes which are above average I'd say, plus they generally throw in some extra naan and poppadums in my experience! Food is always delivered on-time and hot. Would particularly recommend the Special Murgh Sylheti Chillies here!

Having just moved to the area, we were looking for a good Indian takeaway restaurant and were so glad we tried Taste of Bombay. The flavours are fantastic, the portion sizes are ample and the price is very reasonable (but only if you order direct from their website, JustEat adds at least 10% to the bill!) They always deliver very quickly and the food arrives well packed and hot. We have definitely found our new local favorite. Highly recommended
