Neds Noodle Bar in Basildon

The service was good the woman was attentive and patient. However the food, sigh the food. I ordered a yakisoba vegetable egg noodle dish and it tasted okay but a couple hours later I have been bed ridden. Experiencing a bad stomach ache and a lot of nausea and gas. I haven’t been able to start farting since I ate from there. Started having discomfort and diarrhoea early in the morning. My partner didn’t eat none and they were okay. Won’t be going back cause if I get food poisoning from a vegetable dish then you know something bad is going on. Will be calling manager later on today to resolve this.

Makes you wonder 🤔 why there's no customers it's because the food is awful and the managers sitting there on his phone. Over priced and really awful 😞

I was really disappointed with the food. I ordered egg noodles with tofu, vegetables, and sweet and sour sauce, but the taste was so awful that I had to throw it away. The tortilla soup was bland and tasted like it had just been reheated.

So stingy with the filling. If you order on Deliveroo it’s over £12 for a box of noodles with sauce and you have to search around for any meat or veg. They would get more returning custom if they werent so tight, I used to like their food but you’re better off paying a fiver for a chow mein from your local Chinese…. You’ll actually get some filling.

Basically went here last weekend with my bf after a busy shop. Food was delicious and I recommend after a busy shop Decent 4/5

I ordered egg noodles in sweet & sour sauce with prawns & chicken.I have to say the portion size was good and the flavour was delicious 😋 friendly staff.will be going back again for more!

Ordered the Duck Neds Box, Duck, Yakisoba sauce and rice with no veg. Large portion for me personally but is a decent sized portion. Will be returning again it was amazing and look forward for more! 4 star atmosphere as it is a food court area! Nothing that Neds can do about that. Thank you !

We ordered for the first time about a year ago. At that time, they served very delicious and high-quality food, but since then the quality has been steadily deteriorating. Today the pasta is soggy, the meat is almost raw and the extra vegetables that I paid extra for were left out. I'm sorry.

Great place to go in Basildon if on your own. Quieter area of the food court. Food is always piping hot, fresh and tasty. Highly recommend. If u like poor quality, cheap food, this place is NOT for you.

Fabulous. Ordered via deliveroo, massive portion of perfectly cooked noodles with excellent spicy sauce. Followed by a carrot cake which I should've ordered 3 of. Super.

Good tasting food but do double check your order. Me and my partner ordered chicken and squid mix, one turned out to be chicken and beef. Other than that, it's slightly on the pricier side but the food is good.

Simply Divine Fresh and hot delicious.... I ordered the Steamed jasmine rice, prawns with Singaporean hot sauce... And the sesame prawn toast ..simply divine. Will be coming back again!!!

Ned's Noodle Bar is a great place to go for a quick and tasty meal. The menu is extensive and there is something to suit everyone's taste. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the service is friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Overall, Ned's Noodle Bar is a great choice for a casual place to eat.

Staff were lovely, and the food was out super quick, but my family didn't like what they got. £24 for the food, but what we got was bland, and the tofu was ruined.

I ordered food and I was not happy with what I received there was food missing when arrived and I was not pleased with the quality of the food very upset about this seeing as I sent £30 and it wasn’t even pleasant the food went to waste as well as my money the bag was ripped and food leaked out.

Uncomplicated menu. Open seating area. Everything appears to be freshly cooked. Chicken and prawn won ton soup noodle was generous size and piping hot but somewhat lacking in flavour. Would benefit from seasoning at least.

Love the food at Ned's noodle bar. Tried the squid this visit to Essex.

Absolutely awful. We have had food from Neds Noodles many times. However, it really has taken a turn for the worse. The food was really not nice to eat and we left most of it. It's incredibly salty leaving you very thirsty. The veg is waterlogged as if it's been frozen.Its such a shame but we won't be ordering from there again.

Right where do I start I rang this place and they said that I couldn't collect at 845 pm then I phoned them back at 855 pm cos they told me delivery only and they wouldn't pick up the phone so I went on to there website and it says open till 10:00 pm but wouldn't let me place an order so bad

Time and Time again when I’ve asked for my order to be minimal in Sauce, it’s been saturated beyond belief. Only one particular server/chef who prepares the dish is guilty of this and I’m convinced it’s being done on purpose. Sadly, it’s resulted in my not spending any money there any longer. You pay before getting the order and not being able, at the moment, to sit in and eat, I only discover it’s a ( too much sauce mess ) after taking it away. Other staff members get my order right, but there is one Chef who is non compliant and ignores my preference. I’ve tried to visit the place when they are not working, but they are often in situ and work lots of hours. It seems that other members of staff are scared to challenge the person as I was once told to be quiet when I complained and the person was present. Oh well, need to spend my money else where I guess.

Never had a problem until today I orderd two box's no onion no cabbage seafood, Malaysia beef got one full of noodles two prawns the second onion cabbage prawn rang up basildon the lady getting the hump so they send me a new box which was full of onion loads and loads of salt and pure grease obviously she did it on purpose which is discusting ill be visiting the store as all they said was sorry and nothing else stay away from basildon neds as I've not left the bathroom sinse absolutely discusting.

My wife and I had a Quick lunch at Ned's Noodles, we both had sweet and sour chicken Noodles,which was really nice.The only complaint I have is that when we went to sit down after placing our order. When a foreign lady who I think was Eastern European began to shout at us telling us that we could not sit where we was as she and her 4 children who all appeared to be of secondary school age were sitting there. I said no one was sitting here when we sat down,She started yelling at us and my wife asked me not to argue with her over a seat. We then moved away I watched and noticed the group of 5 people had not purchased any food from Ned's Noodles at all. But 2 of the group had Taco Bel which was next door and 1 had Mc Donalds and the 4th had subway. she then left the 4 young girl's at Ned's Noodles with about 4 full bags of shopping while she went off shopping again and came back about 45 minutes later eating a subway meal and had another two filled shopping bags with her. She sat down with the 4 young girls and once again had a go at another 2 ladies who tried to sit near them. I then said to the woman you have dumped these 4 young girls here with all your shopping and you have not purchased one item of food from Ned's Noodle's then you saunter up as if you own the place with more shopping and a subway meal, then have the cheek to shout at these two ladie's because they sat near you and your shopping this is Ned's Noodles and the seating is for the people who are paying and eating their food purchased here.You have no right to be rude and abusive to people when you have not spent a penny at this place,you are just taking liberties, she started to scream at me in another language I told her to shut up and go away.But none of the staff appeared to bothered as to what this woman was doing, I think a sign should be put up that only patrons who have purchased Ned's food may use the seating area available. Unfortunately I would think twice before going to Ned's again.

The food is great but the deluvery service is terrible; each time 1.5hrs delivery time ... will not order again as i like my food hot and time

Not impressed with the food. I got egg noddles tufu and veg with sweet and sour sauce. It tastes so horrible I had to throw it away.

Ordered rice, with yakisoba, prawns and extra veg, largs. All for the price of £10!! What I received was chicken (which I don't eat) with a very un generous 3 prawns (even though that was what I ordered.) with what looked like, someone had waved the vegetables over the box. Even though I should have double veg!! Shameful when your menu gives you less than 10 options. You can't even get that right... Don't bother with this place. Go to the local Chinese instead. They'd never have the cheek to charge you 10 quid for a stir fry!!!!

Neds Noodle Bar in Basildon is a new favourite of mine! Everything is tastes fresh and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Singaporean hot sauce is great and I recommend extra veg! Fresh and HOT! Thanks Neds!! I will definitely be coming back regularly.

Neds Noodle Bar in Basildon is awesome! Everything is fresh and tasty, all the staff are considerate and helpful and I’m never disappointed when I go there! I recommend Egg noodles with Singaporean Hot Sauce, Chicken and extra Veg! The prawn toast is really good too and comes with a pot of sweet chilli sauce. The containers they use are really really good at keeping the food hot... not warm... HOT! Even after my 10min walk home!! The Staff who work here are really helpful when you’re not sure what to order and I will definitely continue to buy food here regularly. Thanks Neds!!

Absolutely wonderful food from Neds Noodles in the Eastgate Centre Basildon yesterday, really fresh ingredients and still hot when we got home, good price, fresh food, what more could you ask for.

Hello there I recently went to neds noodles in Basildon and was served by a young man called CJ. He was very polite and the food tasted delicious. I wasn’t waiting long and he explained all the qualities and ingredients off my box meal. He also explained vegetarian options to my daughter which I thought was very considerate because she is a vegetarian. I will definitely be returning to this store. Yours truly, Ben Smith

Overpriced, overrated stodge. For £7.50 just for a box of noodles, I expect to be able to identify the meat that's inside.

The service was great, the menu is good and very good prices. A lovely lunch with a few bottles of Singha Beer. Perfect after a days shopping.

Nice being able to get some noodles for lunch as a change. You do pay for it, but then again Burger King and other places are just as expensive these. If you look at it as a meal, and for cost of a meal at Nando's (next door) its comparable days ;-)

Wasn't please with the food, I find that is more veg than meat and everytime I order noodles is too much ginger or too much onion

Not only do neds noodles taste amazing they also come so quick! The longest I’ve ever had to wait between ordering and eating is two minutes no matter how busy they are. Not only that but it’s also so healthy compared to any other place that can deliver high quality fresh food at that sort of speed. All of this comes at a very reasonable price and is accompanied by amazing service and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Basildon!🥟🥘🥡🥢

Quick arrive but a little pricey.. More of a pick up and go then start and eat

Great dishes, all served mouth-blisteringly hot straight from the wok. I'm gluten-intolerant and they offer a couple of sauce options but I usually go for just Tamari (gluten-free soy sauce) with duck and vegetables. The portions are generous and the food is always delicious!

For fast food the food is relatively good, however not sure it is as healthy as it claims. There are good gluten free and vegan options

Food was hot and fresh, however the customer service wasn’t brilliant, the guy at the till handed me a buzzer and didn’t explain what I was doing with it or waiting for, did not converse with me at all. Very expensive for what you get, paid almost £9 for noodles with chicken and beef, and there was hardly any in it. Very tiny chicken cubes and a tiny bit of mushed up beef, not proper chunks of meat.

Horrible noddles with watering soy sauce, when I took back and they used the cleaning wok water to cook the noodles again!!!!!! That’s was unacceptable !!!!!! Even when I’m standing there look at it and that lady still said what’s matter that’s clean!! Definitely won’t go back anymore and NOT recommend!!!

BOOM!!! At last a takeaway thats truly a tastey meal and legitimately healthy. Never had a bad meal here and would never believe anyone that has.
