The best restaurants serving American food in South Wales

Ordered a steak rare, came to the table medium/well done. Complained and was told I couldn't have another as I had the last steak of that kind. No option for a different steak. Also no discount offered

La comida llegó después de unos 10 minutos y era agradable y caliente. El bistec tenía buena textura y profundidad. Las papas fritas picantes eran muy buenas para sumergirse en la salsa de hongos, que daba una variedad de deliciosos sabores. ¡Fue sencillo reservar una mesa con antelación y asegúrese de hacerlo para evitar esperar una mesa! El equipo de espera fue amable en general y proporcionó un buen servicio. Una cosa que diría es que les tomó un tiempo traer la factura y luego la máquina de tarjetas para pagar después de eso. En resumen, la comida era satisfactoria con un tamaño de porción razonable y recomendaría visitar este restaurante.

First time dining at Albis this afternoon and I have to say the food was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Surf and turf, 8oz steak cooked to absolute perfection and the best tiger prawns I have ever tasted!! Fantastic service, highly recommend and will definitely be returning.. Thank you Albi

This is a fantastic food location with a lovely atmosphere. The road on which it is located has a lot of strong contenders for great food with a wonderful welcome, but we can confirm that the breakfast and coffee are superb. We will be back, both for more breakfast but also to try the lunch and dinner menus, the latter of which is a Texan BBQ focus 🤤

I’ve eaten here for many years and they’ve delivered excellent burgers and sides, but now their food has gone completely down hill! The burgers patties are cheap and nasty, they skip out on giving you cheese (when you pay for cheese extra) and the buns aren’t brioche, they’re cheap nasty buns that make up most of the burger. Shame. Was my favourite burger bar in cardiff, never again

Lovely food and excellent services. Not much choice on the menu though if you don't like burgers or prepared to pay for an expensive meat Platter.

Sunday lunch wasn’t quite as good as what I would have expected. Ordered the roast beef dinner and although all the trimmings were tasty the pile of beef on the plate looked very unappetising. (They also forgot the Yorkshire pudding!!). Couldn’t eat the meat so asked if it could be wrapped so that I could take it home for my dog. The Waiter refused on health and safety grounds. Ridiculous! Celtic Manor you need to up your game.

Warning! Security a major issue at this hotel. A year ago, a group of us (6 women) stayed here for a university reunion. Around 2am, a drunken, naked male guest burst into the room of one of our group and exposed himself while she was lying, terrified in bed. After screaming at him, he left only to re-enter a second time a few minutes later. She had locked the door after the first intrusion so it was with horror that she realised he was using a hotel key card. She screamed and thankfully, he left again. The police were called and investigations began. We learned that the intruder had entered other rooms. CCTV showed drunken male guests running through the corridors around the time the incident occurred. We later learned that the hotel is largely unmanned. Access to keys behind Reception appeared to be easy. The locks on a lot of doors were flimsy with no extra chain lock available. We assumed that the intruder would quickly be found. However, the police told us (reportedly) that the hotel did not co-operate fully and the case was closed after 6 weeks! We have put pressure on the police, at various levels, for 12 months to re-open the case but unsuccessfully. We all felt that telling the truth by leaving a review, would severely damage the business/reputation of this small hotel. With no resolution to the enquiry, we now have no choice but to protect other female guests and stop them from making the same choice.
