Used this place for large order100s of times, guy came to door and I paid by card, at this point his one machine malfunctioned, you could see on my account that the £18 had left with the date and time next to it along with the exact same company name and amounts from previous orders as its a top up card and which I basically only use for takeaways, he was saying that I should pay again, or he was phoning police? police? After telling him to phone the police as if by magic and him making a phonecard to someone that I could have understand In my broken European languages. He told me to check my back again, the money had returned to my account and I paid again. you could see the payment had gone to the same place I had made payments to for the last orders, I'm not normally at the address that I ordered from and I have never encountered a problem with them before but his solution was either call the police or when payment cleared I could collect the pizza tomorrow. First of all I know someone threatening to call the police is a big no no but the fact I now have proof after speaking to bank the money was taken then refunded then taken makes me suspicious, half an hour passed so it was soggy and cold and ended up in bin. Extremely annoyed that they were threatening to call the police when my online bank showed they had been paid. Then he went to grab the pizza and said have it when money hits our account, I get on phone to police, he then tells me to check bank and I've been refunded from exact place that took it and I'm told to take payment Luckily for me it's captured on 2 angles in video and full audio so any wrong doing by myself can be proved beyond reasonable doubt, when I speak to bank tomorrow I can assure you if there is foul play it won't just be the meal that's sour First bad experience though in countless years, That food would have gone in the bin as they had finished deliveries. Bad business, only speak in another language on phone when your 100% positive that the people stood there don't understand you!!

Because I write in the service cause lack of communication. Don't go very well anyway because I asked for a double cheeseburger. It gave me a double chicken Burger and I don't like chicken for what I thought I told them and told them because when I walk from pointing I. Cut up I'll wait when I'm going to walk my dollars. Point you to my mother's I poppin. You need to take away all my weight so the sure this is a tool style. Sorry but if we were to fight start a fool of opinion

Pizza was cold havnt had 1 for few weeks last 1 had no tomato purie on the base the 1 before that mushrooms garbage gone to the down hill big time i dont recomend it

Best kebab I've had in a long time. The donor was not soggy while the Sheesh kebab was fantastic (they cooked it from fresh in front of me). I had the large which was immense, but it was so tasty I couldn't stop eating it. The fellas there were great and well. Definitely my new number one stop for a kebab

Uni Takeaway - has your food rating improved since your rating of 2/5 in July 2018? Only because, your food handling is absolutely abysmal. There's probably a reason why you don't decide to display it on your website... WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Bought a kebab and for some the reason there was a single baked bean. If there was no baked bean I would rate 5 stars.

Been coming here due to uni on and off. And I must say unless you are drunk go elsewhere. The service is equal to the two older shopkeeps' understanding of English. The place is grimey , they don't listen and produce food that's dry and just awful to eat. I even got hairs of theirs in my garlic bread once .. who ever likes this takeaway's food has not got a clue

Only take away I eat from. The staff are awesome. Been there for as long as I can remember and that's quite a long time!! Same staff too. ok. Very good pizza , very fast delivery , very cheap, nice people. BUT i had a food poisoning with Beef pizza , was sick for 2 day .. So be carefull about hygiene condition.

Quite a limited menu, but everything delicious

If you are sober you will not be a fan. But if you are drunk you will love it. Drunk me would recommend the donner pizza and to demolish the free cheesy garlic bread. Sober me will tell you to get as far away as possible from the garlic bread! Burgers are okay when you are sober though and the prices are very cheap!

I give uni takeaway 3 stars because they deliver late in the night.Kebab meat is ok nothing special.

Why can you not answer the phone.... my phone keeps on ringing and their is nobody to pick up the phone.. it is idiotic. I get that it is busy some nights, but when it is available why does nobody answer?

one of the best takeaway in pontypridd! they always say half an hour but bring the order within 20 mins. very good portion size, i always order vegetarian, the pizza are so cheesy and tasty! I love them!!!

TERRIBLE, the other day I had it and it was nice but I ordered it and it came within 15 minuits which was good but it was obvious by the the quality of the pitsa, the ham was softer than spam and tasted like cushion, the cheese tasted like milk and the pineapple was watery. My friend had the small kebab and he wasn't pleased with it, I was told that the placement would come to £11.40 but bossman said £13.50 and I checked with the website and I was correct and I even checked with the female on the phone, I used to love it but not any more. Can't belive I ordered it over dominoes. Sorry bossman

With uni take located in a area full of students there is always somewhere they can eat top quality food at reasonible prices.

Okay, it's a kebab shop, so as long as your not expecting Michelin star chefs, you'll be in for a nice decent takeaway. The staff can be a little subdued at times but one of their usual delivery drivers is an absolute legend! Also, free cheesy garlic bread with large orders!

I used to work here when it first opened. Never actually ate anything from there though. For good reason too.
