First time dining at Albis this afternoon and I have to say the food was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Surf and turf, 8oz steak cooked to absolute perfection and the best tiger prawns I have ever tasted!! Fantastic service, highly recommend and will definitely be returning.. Thank you Albi

Despite living local, we only got around to visiting Albi a couple of weeks ago for a spontaneous Saturday dinner and it was delicious. Plenty of veggie choices on the menu and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The cocktail menu looked fantastic and we look forward to trying these soon. Also, it was a lovely surprise that there was a 20% off the bill which we had not realised! We will definitely be back!

Food sent out was wrong. As if they didn't know what was on their menu. I ordered a steak and the surf and turf for an additional £5. Received 2 prawns on my plate. Told them that there should be more such as 5 cod bites, they then served me 4, so 1 short. And something else I didn't even receive. Ordered a 10 oz rump steak, which was raw and bearly warm in the middle. Half of it was solid fat and gristle couldn't even cut it. Sent it back, they just recooked it and sent it back out. Terrible food and felt ill afterwards. Will not be returning.

The service and food are outstanding! I have been here several times and can't recommend highly enough. The seafood curry is immense! Can't wait for my next visit!

Absolutely stunning meal! I am fussy with my steak buy owner explained how he would cook it and it was the tastiest ,nicest steak ive had. Cauliflower wings to stary which again were full of flavour. Hot ,homemade chips - can't fault it! Definitely reccomend and cant wait to return again.

I’ve been to Albi several times, both eating in the restaurant and as a takeaway. Every time the food has been great and the service also brilliant. Very highly recommend!

Our first time here and booked on-line. 4 of us went out for a Birthday meal on a Wednesday evening, and we had notified them 1 guest had a wheat allergy. As soon as we arrived we were asked about the allergy and were advised gluten free bread had been purchased for the burgers and they also fried the chips separately as well to avoid cross contamination. Amazing! We all had starters and a main. The food was amazing, and the portions were very generous, so much so we didn't fit in dessert, which is unheard of for at least the 2 men in the party! Very pleased with the already reasonably priced bill, as we had a surprise discount for our first booking! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and the service was faultless. We are definitely booking again. Thank you for an amazing night.

If there's a food restaurant to visit go to albis the food was super fresh very well prepared nicely presented quick and the staff was great ... the quality of the food is top notch from burgers to steaks to prawns and sea food . Lovely setting right in the center of Llantrisant town. Great stocked bar an plenty of choice .. get ur self down to albi . You won't regret it we will definitely be returning for food . 😋 thanks Jeff

Delicious food. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere with good music too. We ordered burgers, me the Vorks vegetarian burger and my friend a B&Q Ranch burger. Both very tasty with portions of fries. After chatting to the owner he offered us prawns in tempura to try which was a kind gesture. Will definitely be coming back!

The food was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t fault it at all! My husband loves burgers and it did not disappoint! Portions were huge! I had the lamb chops with new potatoes, to die for! I’ve never tasted anything like it! Even the new potatoes had a next level taste to them!! My only criticism is that the pulled beef on my husband’s burger should be a meal in itself because it was truly delicious! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

This place is absolutely lovely. The staff couldn't be more friendly and the food was Amazing! The all around experience was lovely and the burgers couldn't be better. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a birthday meal.

Had set menu as part of group dinner. Quite quiet in restaurant but still slow service for food and drinks. Food was good.

First visit to this restaurant and have to say I was very surprised with the great quality food, separating from the typical restaurant. Service was great and made better with the fact that you are not pestered being asked if you are enjoying your meal right in the middle of a mouthful of food or having a conversation with those at the table. The set Christmas menu was perfectly priced and even included a glass of wine.

Visited tonight all round lovely evening friendly staff and great service lovely food / had the chocolate brownie for dessert and omg it was absolutely delicious Thank you very much

Been looking forward to trying Albi for a while and had a takeaway over the weekend. Best burger I've had in Wales. Absolutely unreal, arrived got and fresh. The chips were crispy and cooked perfect. Will definitely be eating here again... Multiple times!!!!

I sorry to put this. ❤️But this my first experience of the restaurant and had it delivered at home I think it's one of the worst burgers I have ever had in my life the paddy was very over cooked and very very dry and I was unable to finish my tea I very disappointed it was bad enough for me to put this review

Visited from Swansea with family who live in the area. Staff very attentive and friendly and food was delicious. My husband said the beef ribs were the best he’d ever tasted! My son and I had burgers and they were really good, so tasty. A side order of onion rings didn’t disappoint, biggest and crispiest I’ve ever had, would definitely recommend! Hope to return soon 🙂

This was our second visit to ALBI's. First during COVID with family members. Food was amazing then. Consequently, as our anniversary approached, we decided to book again. Although mid-week, we really had a brilliant time. We had a main meal and dessert. Both were delicious and well presented. Food was piping hot and chips to die for so, so good. The waiter and the owner both chatted and made us feel so special and took photos for us which we'll treasure. The background music was good and not obtrusive. Since COVID more people are buying take-aways which don't allow a true reflection of the dedication of staff and ambience at ALBI's. Come on everyone let us venture out and get the real deal. It will be worth it. A very happy customer.

We have returned to Albis about 3/4 times since we moved to the area, it is a very pleasant atmosphere, clean, and has an excellent menu. We always order burgers because they are exceptional and some of the best we have had but the menu also has steaks, seafood and much more and it is a very wide range. Usually a wide range of options is a bad sign but the food really is high quality. My partner is coeliac and the owner is very accommodating, we usually call in advance but we booked online on our most recent visit and they did not see my message that my partner is gluten free but they immediately went out and bought the ingredients for her. Excellent restaurant, fantastic service and we will be back!

We called in on father's Day and had a lovely family meal and great service.

The prawn dynamite was very good. Mocktails were not nice at all, it’s far too sweet and strong.

We visited the restaurant as a family of 14, various ages, for a birthday celebration this week. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals the menu is varied to accommodate all tastes and every meal was well presented. We could not fault the service and highly recommend this as a place to visit. The owner even presented the birthday boy with a bottle of wine a much appreciated gesture. Look forward to another visit as such a lot to try on the menu. 5 star value

I was taken here recently for my surprise 50th with all the family there waiting. The staff and service was excellent as was the food and value for money, I couldn’t have asked for a better evening. All the family enjoyed themselves and there was not one complaint regarding the food or venue. The icing on the cake was receiving a bottle of red wine from the owner for my birthday, something that I have never experienced or witnessed from any other restaurant before. Highly recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again soon.

Sry the decor was non existent, the menu not very imaginative and food was very bland, zero seasoning. Not impressed.

Lovely food and atmosphere although when we visited it did look a little dated and some of the seats had seen better days.

Ice cold veg served with my salmon, not happy as the rest of the party, there were over 20 of us in all had finished their meals before we eventually had replacements. We were offered a free drink which I refused.

Well what can I say...we were taken care of the minute we walked in. Staff put heater on,and asked if our table was OK for us. The lovely owner asked if I would like a look around and showed us the upstairs area which is perfect for parties or larger get togethers. The atmosphere was very relaxed and warm, with other tables of families/children and other couples too. Service was fantastic, food was absolutely amazing and the prices were so reasonable. I can't wait to visit again. Thankyou for a lovely evening.

Just had a takeaway from here 2 mixed grill that were okish burger not so good and a 10oz rump that was awful not very warm, mushrooms like rubber and raw chunky chips after specifically asking for them to be well done ,won't be returning anytime soon ..........

If you like dodgy takeaway, this is the place for you! Just ordered a tower burger, absolutely saturated in barbecue sauce and hardly edible. I’m all for having a takeaway at some time, however this was absolutely over the top with sauce, the brioche bun was all soggy with barbecue sauce and falling apart. Just as a heads up to other people out there, maybe consider buying a burger from somewhere else. Happy eating

Food didnt match the price tag unfortunately, service was fine although it was just us inside. Appeared to be used more for takeaways, dated booths and some unpleasant smells make it a one off for me.

Visited this evening with my family we had such a lovely evening. All of the dishes were tasty and cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean and Covid safe. Staff were helpful and friendly. Will be back again!

Well tonight was the first time I was lucky enough to have a ALBI’S, each and every member of staff cares about the customers and the food and service was simply amazing! Il definitely be coming back. Keep up the good work guys !

Very disappointed... 63 quid and it was shocking! The hirped up salmon which was said to come with a tossed salad, new potatoes and a side of seasonal veg, was infact a slither of over cooked dry (apparently) salmon. This was served in a bed...

Ordered a tandoori burger last night and it was like a medium rare steak in the middle 🤢 Lucky not to have spent the night awake and unwell!

We have ordered through Just Eat twice in the last month. Both times the food was amazing. No more or less expensive than any other takeaway. I would highly recommend ordering from them it is a real treat.

2 nights ago.... We ordered : 1 x cajun tiger prawns £7.40 1 x chilli-dog ( c/w fries) ; 1 x large American classic burger ( c/w fries) 1 x portion of gherkins ; 1 x mixed grill ( c/w fries) A) only three (3), that's right (3) Tiger Prawns for £7.40 😖 " I can't believe it ', although, the prawns were nice B) the chilli-dog was, beef..?? they could have offered a savaloy.? although, overall unusual, but nice No options for extra onions or mustard C) Extra gherkins, lol, seriously now, there wer only 3 x 1cm diameter thin slices of gherkins, hidden under the bottom burger. D) there was only 1 x slice of cheese on a double burger, although the burger was nice E) the mixed grill was all cooked medium-well. there was No option for any of the meat to be cooked any differently. I think that the the restaurant/take-away could have called us when they received the order, to see how we would have liked the meat cooked N.B. / P.S. There were 2 x hairs on the inside of the Chilli-dog packaging Glyncochboy

This is the second time we've tried Albis, first time we had a sit down dinner (which was wonderful) and then last night we had a takeaway, the food is always delicious and they've got a great selection, the staff are always welcoming and accommodating,...

We visited Alvi for the first time today for a family take away. The food was amazing, great quality and really tasty. Would highly recommend them and will definitely be back.

We had ordered takeaway from ALBI today and the food was absolutely delicious. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. The staff was also very quick with service and providing our food. It is truly a gem and a must-visit. We will of course visit again and recommend to others.
