The best restaurants serving American food in England

Overpriced and not particularly tasty, infact bland. Like a burger from Temu, but double the price. Will never bother again.

Eww, waitress couldn’t even be bothered to wipe the table. Ordered a “American burger” came with 15 chips! & I’m not joking, the burger was nothing special either, no coleslaw or salad to accompany it. You get more at McDonald’s which is right next door!!

We use a lot of weatherspoons during our travels and found that in most cases the food and service to be genrally good and we found the Bear as no exception and in fact we rated it quite highly as the food and service here were excellent ... If I were being picky I would say that our table should have been wiped down when it was cleared ( spilled drink not food ) but overall that doesn't detract from giving the Bear the full 5* and a Thank You for a great meal.

Had a meal here last night with a couple of friends. Was quite a quiet atmosphere when we walked in but this didn’t deter us. We sat down, and the waitress came and took our order. We got our drinks and our mains, on top of that I ordered a side dish for myself. Here’s the thing, our drinks never turned up and neither did my side dish of popcorn chicken. The mains arrived after about 20 minutes but we were all very underwhelmed by them. I could’ve made a better burger for myself at home. When we requested the bill, at first the waitress actually brought it to us with the drinks and the side dish we had not received. She swiftly realised these were never brought to us and was apologetic. Too little too late really. The bill was then amended and we paid for the terrible food and experience. Oh and it gets worse. Just before we headed out I went to the restroom and was followed by another waitress/member of staff who said that, I wasn’t allowed to use the toilets unless I had eaten at the restaurant. I proceeded to tell her that I had had a meal in the diner, to which she responded that she hadn’t realised. We were literally sitting opposite the kitchen in the middle of the quiet diner, and one of the only groups there. I left angrily. I can only recommend to people that you should never eat at this restaurant. The staff, the food and the overall experience was horrendous.

Terrible service, wouldnt take order from bar or table. Had to use a app. App was not straight forward. Ordered a burger meal with a free drink. Couldn't order free drink on app. Asked about free drink with meal, staff would not except that app was wrong. So no drink. No knifes & forks on table had to find from another table. Food was just thrown in front of us. Food cold. No customer service. Avoid.

Have been eating here since it opened. It’s not a very busy place. It does just enough to keep going. Open all through the lock down. Just a Couple of months back they have started arbitrarily using a temperature HEAD GUN. There is no sign saying this is requirement for dining in. As such it cannot be enforced. The busiest Restrauants are not using this HEAD GUN. However on a Visit last week, with a small child, I was told the gun had to pointed to the child’s head.I flatly refused. There is currently, no government or council requirement to do this. It should be clearly stated at the counter or on the door of the restaurant if this is the process to dine in. Neither of us were sick and I always have my mask on, even when walking in the street. Compulsive hand and face washing. BK on the high street clearly states in writing, no personal details, no service. Businesses must inform the customer of their practice in writing and be clearly visible. Having another human point directly at ones head with a gun shaped object, with a hole at the front, albeit a small one, can be shocking.Seeing so many films and images of people being killed in that fashion. One only has to see what’s going on with BLM across the pond. The symbolism of having a gun of any type pointed at a small child, or even an adult is wrong. Especially when we are not in a lockdown and things are not that bad at the moment. The staff are well away from the seating area and behind huge wrap around counter Perspex glass that almost reaches half way to the ceiling. If any of you came to enquire about the food, well the burgers are always fresh and never frozen. For my liking they are too fat and chunky meat, and can be a little tough at times. The chicken burger is small and can be dry, and at almost 8£ one would expect organic, or at the very least free range, but no. The skinny chill fries are usually my favorite, depending on who has made the chill that week. Sum up, fat burger is expensive for what it is. Especially when one has Five Guys (grass fed cows), Hache steak award winning burgers, Brid, KFC, Macs, BK and a whole host of eateries in Camden Market, all a stones throw from this place, and at similar, if not better prices!! And non of them point guns at your head.

Llegué, reservado con una fiesta de 24. Mayor con una cálida sonrisa genuina y sentado a la vez. La comida llegó en 15 minutos y fue fabulosa. Para los 24 invitados, los platos principales se sirvieron dentro de una ventana de cinco minutos, muy impresionante para una fiesta de 24, de hecho lo mismo con los desiertos.La comida fue presentada como se describe, se veía y sabía apetitosa y fue devorada por mi grupo!Durante nuestra estancia, el personal fue muy atento sin ser dominante. ¡Definitivamente regresaré, tanto personalmente con mi familia como con mis clientes! Muchas gracias al equipo de Victoria Place Ed's Easy Diner, ¡fueron increíbles!

We have been to this Friday's 3 times in the last few years as it is a great location and service is always amazing and Friendly.

Can't say a bad word about this English pub.... Shame it I will get close down soon the rumour says.

Tried savoury sweet pancakes for the first time ever.. Sausage and bacon 😀 Delicious.. Staff were friendly and food was freshly made to order.. Kept me going all day ! Canterbury is beautiful ..

The chef told me....They bought Spring rolls and Fish cake from Tesco frozen and cooked for customer ( it's only £1 per pack) . If the food wrap very tidy you must sure it's bought from cheap shop.

Horrible service he was so rude when I ordered and was stood at the counter waiting to order and he looked at me multiple times and ignored me when I asked if I can order, he spends most his time in the back not taking orders and when he does take them he rolls his eyes at you and acts so annoyed that you dared to get him to do his job honestly fuming

Pedí hoy a Deliveroo y me lo comí, lo saqué unos 10 minutos después, lo abrí y no voy a mentir: parecía solo y triste, he visto hamburguesas con mejor aspecto, WOW. Tomé un bocado y me di cuenta de que la hamburguesa estaba de alguna manera completamente fría (literalmente no sabía nada de calor, es como si la hubieran guardado en la nevera durante una hora y luego se la dieron al conductor. Sin embargo, sospecho que teniendo en cuenta el el clima frío que el viaje aquí tuvo más que ver con el hecho de que es frío. Aunque saben cómo acomodar el clima frío ¿verdad? ¿Y saben cómo mantener las cosas bien? Deberían haber tomado precauciones: cuando llega más tarde por la noche, todos lo saben también se enfría y teniendo en cuenta que hemos tenido tormentas últimamente, realmente deberían estar pensando más). Tuve que calentarlo para comerlo. Y siento que ahora pagué demasiado por la muy mala calidad y el servicio que recibí, la última vez que ordené en realidad fui personalmente a Frankie & Benny's, fue realmente bueno. Me pregunto qué pasó esta vez, ¿se vuelven más vagos en la noche? Debería haber más queso en las patatas fritas y la hamburguesa parecía tan malditamente decepcionante.

Comida aceptable, definitivamente nada especial, pero muy caro. La hamburguesa era pequeña, sin ensalada ni nada sabroso. Las papas fritas estaban calientes pero no calientes y obviamente habían estado sentadas durante un tiempo antes de ser servidas. Mac y queso se hizo obviamente mucho antes y se recalentó, que está bien en sí mismo, pero se sirvió como una comida lista - presentación horrible, no se tiene cuidado en absoluto. Personal amable, no hay quejas en absoluto sobre el personal, pero deben estar avergonzados de enviar esa comida a los clientes a ese precio.
