The best restaurants serving American food in Yorkshire and The Humber

We chose this place as a central place to meet up for a birthday. We were very impressed with the lovely food and service. Dan served us and he was friendly, attentive and efficient. I had the vegan options - a fantastic garden salad with pea puree and coronation chickpeas followed by a mushroom bourguignon wellington. The rest of our group had Sunday roast and all our meals came with great sides - more than usual. Many places don’t bother being creative with the vegan options but this place does. It surpassed our expectations to be honest! The soft drinks menu was really good too, many more options than usual. Bravo!

Great for watching sport, but the worst selection of lagers you could imagine, and it's pretty expensive

Useless useless employees, food took 20 minutes, not all items were delivered, waited at counter for an additional 10, because no one is able to do their jobs. If you’re in a rush, don’t bother. Rude staff, incompetent staff, do not go if you value your time, sanity, or warm food.

Qué horas tan encantadoras pasamos aquí. Nos encanta Nando’s pero este fue, con diferencia, el mejor que hemos visitado. El personal era el más amable y la comida estaba perfectamente cocinada. Muchas gracias por ayudarnos a disfrutar de nuestra última noche en York.

Drinks choice and price. Shocking ! Food was edible. Requested a jug of water and was delivered 3 dirty glasses. lipstick on all 3. Staff were pleasant and appolgetic over the drink supply issue. It was a lot quieter then other place sin meadowhall, maybe it was a sign? Won't be returning.

Terrible service no staff but food it usually good. Not this time burgers were dry bread roll burnt chips over salty. Three burgers and chips and a drink each cost £49 so also overpriced. It is usually our treat when we go the the york outlet. Will not be going back will go to McDonald's for a nicer and cheaper burger.

Pub previously closed as a Wetherspoons has been purchased by the Mountain Pub Co and has reopened for business. Very busy when we visited clean and presentable with a reasonably priced pint

We dropped in and we were given a table within a couple of minutes. Good friendly staff good vibe and music. The food was amazing honestly.cant fault a thing.

Vine aquí para tomar algo el fin de semana pasado y había un ambiente decente. ¡En general, las bebidas no tenían un precio malo y había una buena cantidad de opciones disponibles!

Personal encantador y amable gorila. Es una pena lo de la multitud aquí, es un poco elegante para mi gusto.

We booked the Porterhouse Restaurant based on the photos on TripAdviser BUT we were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the restaurant to be told that it is no longer a Steakhouse and has not been a Steakhouse for 2 years!! We however decided to stay for dinner and my husband was pleasantly surprised by the steak. It was tender and cooked to his specification. I had the Beef, ale and mushroom pie which was a bit disappointing. The pastry was very soggy, the broccoli was so overcooked it was basically mush and the new potatoes were very overcooked. One plus was that the cutlery was presented in a sealed packet although the condiments were what we would have had on the table pre-covid. I did see a waitress wiping down the chairs and just changed the table cloth but the condiments were not wiped down If we had a choice, we would not eat here again.

Ordenado a través de solo comer comida llegó. Pagué £ 3 extra por tots sucios y patatas fritas sucias y no había nada en ellos. Pedí un batido con mi pedido nunca llegaron todas las salsas extra nunca llegaron y las alitas de pollo parecía que ya estaban abiertas. Busque otro lugar donde causar £ 55 para nuestro pedido y nos sentimos robados.

When something goes wrong and you make a complaint the Manager Saima Tabassum refuses to deal with it she will ignore all communication with you! Very unprofessional and ignorant of a Manager even calls customers a liar! Be warned she is v unprofessional as a Manager!

Good venue with good music but the bar staff seem to want to serve the younger generation that they seem to know before customers who have been there for a good 10 minutes at least before them. Specifically the lad with the blue in his hair. Not good customer service
