The best restaurants serving American food in Yorkshire and The Humber

It’s our first time ordering from Miller and Carter and it didn’t disappoint. Food was amazing. Delivery took a while but I guess it is Mother’s Day so that’s probably why!

Even with expectations as low as is possible to be, somehow. . .somehow they manage to overwhelmingly disappoint. The food is usually cheap enough for the terrible quality to not be a problem, but this time, £15 ish for a main and nearly £5 a pint? where not one item was ok? Nope. This "steak" was ordered medium rare, and, it's more of a dog biscuit than steak and compeltley overdone. It's embarrassing for anyone to call themselves a chef and get it this wrong. The "burger", beyond poor, flavourless lump of mush, bread wasn't even bread, the fries were cold, even fried onions were jsut a congealed mess. How do you get fries and fried onions wrong!? It's astonishing how bad it can be. Service sort of friendly but not even the nicest people can make up for the dire state of what they serve.

Food was lovely, and our server Brogan was amazing, my partner is a very picky eater and she double checked through everything when we were ordering just to make sure everything was correct, which was much appreciated :)

What a little gem. Food is lovely, nice and fresh. Good range of choice. Staff were all really friendly making for a really pleasant visit. Would recommend and go again! Prices are good too

Delicioso, fuimos a comer. La comida está recién hecha, pedimos tortitas, gofres y bagles, con tocino y jarabe de arce y un champiñón, gofres de mostaza de arce. Todos eran absolutamente deliciosos. Las porciones eran enormes. Los batidos y cafés eran muy buenos también. El personal era muy amable y profesional y hacen que el lugar tenga un ambiente relajante muy tranquilo. Bueno, definitivamente volveré, y recomiendo a todos que lo intenten.

Massive portions....recommend donners and pizzas, fresh donner all the time, big pizza toppings.

I like this pub, it sells good food, has a nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Only been in early evening, but I can imagine it being a proper pub at night. Few and far between these days. Love it.

They insult us, they tell us that we are vegan, the food is very good.

First Time in TGI Fridays, experience made all the better by Jacob! A like minded LOTR fan, he welcomed us and made us a feel right at home! We'll be seeing you soon! Lovely place, great food and good beer.

Disappointing experience here on Sunday roast day. It took 1hr 10m for the food to arrive. When it did, it was lukewarm. Gravy tasted generic, however the lamb was tender. The beef was average. Atmosphere was quite nice, loud enough to drown out the crying of our agitated 7-month-old but not so loud as to be oppressive. The orangery area is pleasant as is the vast beer garden. Update: got diarrhoea the next day.

My favourite takeout in Wakefield. Consistent and always tastes good.
