The best restaurants serving American food in Solihull West Midlands

We are not vegan but we are foodies and this place definitely ticks all the boxes ! The restaurant is tiny but has a big menu with lots of choices. The food was really delicious specially the tofu and seaweed ramen ! The owner was lovely and very friendly. Definitely a place to try and to go back to.

Visited for our anniversary! Shipon was so friendly and helpful towards us from the start to the beginning. Food was amazing! We couldn't fault it.

First time visiting Birmingham. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back when we return to Birmingham.

We love Fiesta at Edgbaston, so thought we would try Shirley. I don't know what they're thinking but it's all very First Dates. Plastic plants hanging from the ceiling, massive bar, loud live musician (who to his credit was great), high ceilings, bright lights and arm to arm tables. Very different to the intimate and more rustic candlelit experience you get at Edgbaston where the food does the talking. It was very overwhelming, so we left. The manager and server were really understanding though and very friendly and helpful when we said we wanted to leave. I think this restaurant, I'm sure, is very lovely to a lot of people, but if you like a low and slow more private and classy setting, Shirley is not the location.

1st time i have been to this Hickory's as normally go to the Coventry one. Came for the Super Bowl evening so paid £10 deposit to be in the cinema room, however there was an issue and this wasn't available which was disappointing but didn't matter too much as they had a large screen in the restaurant and the deposit was refunded off the bill . Food as usual lovely and enjoyed the football. Staff friendly and service good. However the only thing to dampen my spirits as well as me was that later when my daughter's partner who had ordered a milkshake when it was brought by the waiter and he took it off the tray the other drinks for another table couldn't have been properly put on the tray and in the next instance it tipped over and straight down my top and jeans and I was soaked and stunk of beer. The waiter was very apologetic and I didn't blame him as it was accidental but it did put a dampner (literally ) on teh evening for me

This is definitely worth a visit! The lovely warm and efficient Fara was a great help when we made our choices of the truly delicious food, opting for a selection of the smaller plates. Great atmosphere and cosy seating to.

The food was terribly overpriced and inedible.

Worst chicken strips and fries I have ever had at TGI’s when asked where are the strips to the waitress, the reply was “ sorry that’s what come in the bag” 🙄 nuggets £20 never again

We were in the town centre and decided to get something to eat from here. The place was quite busy but managed to find a table. We ordered food and drinks which didn't take too long to be ready. The food was good, I had the chocolate milkshake which was good, it might be best to get a couple of straws as the paper straw breaks easily. Overall the place seemed clean, the food was good. Nice place to get something to eat

driver was very late and rude was doing multiple orders at the same time, took him 30mins to do a 10min journey

Ages for the food to arrive . They don't seem to clean up here , mess everywhere, disgusting toilets. Not at all good.
