The best restaurants serving American food in North Somerset South West

Family meal for 6 with 2 young children and we were waited on hand and foot from start to finish. Everyone’s roast dinner was outstanding, great value for money and highly recommended, we will definitely revisit .

We came in a few weeks ago. Asked for a last minute charcuterie board and it was amazing. Great music, cocktails and atmosphere. We only intended to pop in for one or two and ended up staying most the evening. Look forward to next time 🍸

Slow service today unfortunately and not busy, came in as a couple and got a table by families, should be aware of different experiences wanted by different customers and seat them appropriately. Spilt food left on the floor under table from previous customers so lack of attention to detail for the premium paid even though held by bar whilst preparing a pre booked table. Food was decent as usual but experience was less good and staff ok but far from attentive. Also realised when leaving as usual not asked for loyalty card so even though we use the restaurant 10 to 12 times a year our loyalty is wasted.

Banging food. Pretty quick service. Would highly recommend

Great breakfasts after a lovely dog walk on the sands. Staff are superb, friendly and welcoming. Food is excellent as is the cleanliness. You won’t be disappointed if you pick this promenade cafe for a refuel.

Great pub, nice friendly staff didn't try the food on this occasion but the people I spoke to about it said it is fantastic esp their roast so will be back for one in the future

Great facility, exceptional staff, clean showers and well stocked shop and pub. Good location for beaches, Cheddar gorge and Wookie hole.

No esperaba mucho. Quedarse aquí. Vuelo cancelado (gracias Francia). No de buen humor. Elegimos ravioles porcini. Agotado. Pero. . . . Luego fuimos por 2 entrantes. Kofta de cordero con hummus de pimiento rojo y tzatsiki, y pan con aceitunas y ajo mejor. Realmente bueno. El tzatsiki fue fantástico. Como un yogur líquido de ajo. Escuché a muchas personas decir lo buenos que eran sus platos principales. Claramente un buen chef.

Quiet, possibly one of the best Sunday roasts out I have had in a long time. Greeted straight away and seated seamlessly in the lovely deep dining chairs. A pianist playing giving great ambience to the restaurant. Serve was quick, food hot and delicious, the French onion soup was to die for, and hearing around the room a lot of complements too and rightly so. The main course was plentiful with extra gravy and a side of steaming hot veg. Sticky toffee was lovely with an ample dollop of ice cream. Just remember, when visiting the restaurant, you don't need to pay for parking, yet always double-check.

So… we had the time of our lives at Southbound Sedgemoor… and had very high hopes… we bigged it up to our friends and brought them along to Northbound… it did not live up the hype. Lack of selfie wall is definitely brought down the vibes. But the breakfast bar at Starbucks is a big win and the crew enjoyed their paninis. Appreciate the toy car by the front door giving fun chill vibes but still no southbound.

Terrible service, poor quality, not as described. Cannot return ......... Communication terrible! Avoid!

Surprised at how bad these reviews are! I specially found this place on Google to review it after visiting yesterday. It is literally the best KFC I have ever had, first time I have had a hot and crispy chicken burger, clearly cooked fresh which was great. Tables were also clean despite it being relatively busy. I tend to find that KFC varies a lot between branches, but this is the best experience I have had so far, long may it continue!

Absolutely awful service, staff not trained properly, need to be retrained. Management just as bad. Incorrect order. Couldn't get order right twice. Simple order a mega box. No apology. Disgusting.
