Welcome Break Sedgemoor M5 in North Somerset

So… we had the time of our lives at Southbound Sedgemoor… and had very high hopes… we bigged it up to our friends and brought them along to Northbound… it did not live up the hype. Lack of selfie wall is definitely brought down the vibes. But the breakfast bar at Starbucks is a big win and the crew enjoyed their paninis. Appreciate the toy car by the front door giving fun chill vibes but still no southbound.

Beware We stopped here for a short while in our motorhome on a trip back from the Jurassic Coast for a rest as was feeling tired from the driving. Not sure how long we were there as didn't give it much thought at the time as it was quite late, but it was only a couple of hours or so. The following week we got a parking fine in the post for £170. My advice would be to avoid this place like the plague, and looking at the other reviews I'm glad we didn't go in and spend any money there as it sounds awful. Wayne

Stopped to get a bite to eat and went to burger king, it is not connected to the app and that is why they can charge £4.95 for a £1.99 cheese burger. This was cold and one of the worst burgers ever. Macdonalds over the road on the southbound is connected to the app so you do not get ripped off like this place will not be back to use this place also they have now placed two electric charging points where they had two disabled parking places before and they were the ones closest to the front doors. Not one to recommend.

Just stopped here with our caravan. The caravan parking is well signed until the last turn where there is nothing and it turns out to be the overflow car park. The caravan parking spaces are simply 2 tandem car spaces and totally inadequate in terms of length and, at the entrance end, turning space. They are not marked as caravan dedicated parking so random cars limit the spaces even further

Disgusting dirty place. Rubbish all over the floor, half eaten food left on window sills. Burger King had no water, coffee or milk to drink. Toilets have not been cleaned actually wrote the date in the dust on the top of one of them. No toilet roll. Bins overflowing. A dump of a place. Don’t give these people your money.

Arrived to day for a welcome break. Starbucks only has filter coffee their machine isnt working. Burger king has no hot drinks, Chopstix has no hot drinks and WHSmiths no daily papers. On the whole very dissapointing. Chopstix however did serve excellent food.

Absolutely love this place friendly clean small and cosy. Just what I needed after a long trek. Would definitely visit again.

Good choice of food and shops. Easily accessible from both the hotel and the motorway. Burger King, Chopstixs, Starbucks, The Good Breakfast and WHSmiths are all here.

Have stayed in many budget hotels, but no budget hotel here just good value and excellent service. Everyone is great and Lauren on reception is always great.

Stopped here on the way north for a lunch break. Got some food at the BK - which was quite enjoyable. Visited the restrooms and did some shopping. Got some crisps and some Donuts from Krispy Kreme. And got some coffee at Starbucks. No dogs allowed inside, so we had lunch outside. There are only a few tables, but none were taken. The rest area is in fine shape, plenty of parking. A fine stop for a quick break.
