Good And Proper Zero in North Somerset

Just been here while sleeping at the services ordered zinger box meal with 2 hot wings it was freezing so I politely asked if they could swap them so it's warm they shouted me over 2 minutes later with the same cold hot wings what I took a bite out of so they reheated cold chicken and also the chicken burger was freezing the first time there food hygiene is shocking needs an inspector to come out wouldn't even rate it a 1 star but that's the lowest

Went for Sunday lunch and the vegetarian offer was linguinei with tomato sauce! The most boring dish I have ever eaten. How can this be a valid sunday lunch "with all the trimmings", there were no "trimmings" with my linguine? My wife's roast was okay but cold and not as good as our local pub. The chef here is a disgrace to his apron, obviously incapable of cooking a nut roast or a vegetarian wellington - avoid at all costs.

We were just out of the normal dining area which was good because it was fully booked. We had 4 excellent roast dinners with good and efficient service and good value, Will go back to try the normal week day menu , Regards JF

Having had a positive experience previously, my son insisted we return for his special day, and the team did not disappoint. From the outset, Kayleigh was exceptional. Before our visit, she corresponded with us via email, taking the time to understand our dietary requirements and ensuring everything was tailored to our needs. Her professionalism and attention to detail set the stage for a remarkable dining experience. The chef at Miller & Carter deserves high praise. Every dish was cooked to perfection, meeting the precise preferences of each family member. My daughter's specific requirements on how her food should be cooked, my son's unique needs for food preparation and presentation, and my preference for not being overwhelmed by too much food were all met with exceptional care. It’s impressive how the kitchen managed to accommodate our varied tastes, a feat I've laboured to perfect at home over many years! Manager Andy and his team of waitresses were bright, thoughtful, and considerate, enhancing our dining experience with their attentive service. The restaurant was bustling, yet the quality of food and service never wavered, demonstrating the team's competence and dedication. It’s clear that the staff and management at Miller & Carter take great pride in their work, delivering consistently high standards whether during peak or quieter times. This visit was a testament to their commitment to excellence and genuine passion for customer service. Thank you, Miller & Carter, for making my son’s birthday meal so special. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
