The best restaurants serving American food in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Always have a nice meal in here when I’m down visiting the family, we usually go for the Tappy Burger or Flat Iron Steak, good value and delicious, the Poke bowls are lovely as well Really cool atmosphere and decor in the place, with cool pics, and surf vibes, the rustic tables which my brother made years ago are nice as well 🙂 A really cool bar that’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area 🍻

Didn’t really know what to expect, went on a Sunday and it was a set menu. Was completely blown away by it all though. Great food, great service. I’ve also never had a meal where they bring each item you choose out separately. This is a great way to reduce waste as I’m sure if you bring it all out at once people leave a lot. It also allows for a little 5/10 minute breathing window that you can chat and not feel rushed eating. Really good experience and would 100% return if/when I’m next in Bodmin

Me and my partner have ordered from here twice, the second time they didn't actually have any banana blossom left, they called to tell us after the order had been placed, the staff were so apologetic and friendly,happy to offer us alternatives even if it cost a little more. We will definitely be going back, has become our pay day treat.

Not worth the money. we paid £30 for the mac and cheese, loaded fries, and mozzarella sticks. all of which had no flavour, except for the bbq sauce. the mac and cheese tasted as though it came from a can, no seasoning what so ever. the loaded fries contained fries and chicken, i had to pay extra for cheese (which i would expect cheese considering the portion is £11.50 already) only to open the box to no cheese. the mozzarella sticks were ok, probably frozen and no flavour again. if you’re coming to quint/newquay, i would say you’re better off going to The Quintrell Inn, and there food isn’t much better!

We were staying at the nearby caravan site, and booked to eat here on our last night before returning home. A quiet Sunday night, but nothing was too much trouble for our host. While waiting for the meal, my wife became unwell, (nothing to do with the restaurant or meal) so we were unable to stay and enjoy our meal. Our host packed the freshly cooked meals in takeaway trays so we could have later. I ate my steak once back at the caravan and it was delicious. Sorry we had to rush off, but our host was perfect and the food excellent. Would certainly return if we were back in the area.

This restaurant really exceeded my expectations! The service, the food and the view were all exceptional and it was a real treat. The menu was beautiful with lots of lovely choices, mainly fish themed and the food we had was amazing. The service from staff was brilliant and I'd highly recommend visiting here!

It's of huge significance to me, revisiting the last place myself and my late wife visited for our 20th wedding anniversary. To celebrate my twin boys 18th Birthday, and enjoy their first legal beer was truly fitting and a great occasion. The pork belly was absolutely superb, the beef ragu and the surf and turf equally as excellent. The doughnuts which two teenage men devoured with ease was the perfect meal to create a new, lasting memory. Service excellent, and the price was on par for the meal. First ale for the lads on the house too was an added bonus. Many thanks!

Food came 45 minutes after placing order. Charged me 1 £ for pickles??? When i ordered a burger lunch deal!!! Food came cold. Not to repeat.

Brilliant place and everyone so friendly, unlike some cornish village pubs, as soon as you walk through the door it goes quiet and you’re stared at…..so do you want extra custom or not?? Anyway the Rock Inn is lovely and has a good variety of food and drinks on offer, plenty of places to sit inside and out. Sunday carvery absolutely amazing. Keep up the great work guys!!

Back again today for the second time and there will be many more ,whenever in the Falmouth area. Very welcoming, friendly & courteous service with a great choice of drinks and food. The enchiladas we had were fantastic & a generous portion as well. Highly recommend Boo Koos for a great ambience, excellent service & fantastic meal.

Delicious pancakes! Really good coffee! Cheeky goats to feed and bunnies to look at, the place feels like a large landscaped garden with little nooks for seating and a playground for kids. Just lovely.

Food was not the best to be honest. Came out within 5 mins of ordering. Loaded calamari fries - calamari was chewy and batter was very wet. Views are great and service was alright.

My wife and I visited this cafe for the first time today and loved all the vegan food. We had the Buffalo Chick’n Salad with sides of chips and Mac n Cheese all of which was delicious but we had ordered too much. Next time we will arrive before 12.00 to sample their vegan breakfast which Llosa amazing. Our lunch was finished with coffee and 1st class almond croissants, warmed and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful.
