Review for The Longstore, Charlestown My wife and I had an incredible dining experience at The Longstore in Charlestown. We visited on a Wednesday evening at 8:15 pm, and despite the restaurant being busy for a weekday, the service was outstanding. We both ordered the Sirloin Steak with Skinny Fries and a side of Mac & Cheese, and everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was full of flavor, beautifully seared, and tender, while the fries were crisp and well-seasoned. The Mac & Cheese was rich, creamy, and the perfect indulgent side. A special mention to Katie, who served us with such warmth and professionalism. Even with the restaurant bustling, she made sure we were well taken care of, adding to the overall fantastic experience. The Longstore truly delivers on both food quality and service. If you’re in Charlestown and looking for an amazing steak, this is the place to go! Highly recommended.

Can’t go wrong. Burgers are absolutely out of this world. We come on New Years Eve as we had a table booked, then come back on the 2nd and they managed to fit us in. Lovely atmosphere and service is brilliant.

Found this place by accident while on holiday. Lovely place, staff were brilliant. It's not very big, so cosy and friendly, with a cool 'spit and sawdust' vibe. Loved the album covers and movie posters on the walls. Had the Betty Blue with plain skin on fries ... absolutely the best burger I've had! It was cooked perfectly, juicy and great flavour, and the fries were excellent, done to a perfect crispyness! It wasn't a massive burger, and whilst eating it I could have wished it was bigger, but that was only cos I didn't want it to end ... it was enough! I'm very very sad that I don't live in Falmouth and I can't visit this restaurant every week...... !

What a fabulous hidden gem! Food was so tasty and served really quickly and massive portions… it’s a shame we’re leaving for home today as would absolutely eat here again and again! Everything on the menu sounds delicious. I had nachos with pulled pork and my partner had the nacho burger. 10/10 🥰

Only live up the road. My mate and I needed a drink and meal. Excellent food, good value for money, fresh ingredients, good helping, well cooked, nicely presented and minimal delay. Small but nice choice of ale too. Very good service, attentive and courteous. Will definitely return including for breakfast with friends. Perfect for all ages and families, calm gentle atmosphere, fantastic views across the harbour. Well done Ollie, Jake and the team.

Top notch meal! Convenient location, nice decor, private booths. Waiters were very friendly which makes such a difference. Wonderful food - chicken wings, whitebait, ribs and fillet steak with good red wine, all for a reasonable price. Thanks again to the chef! We will be back.

Amazing tapas, all cooked fresh and nice relaxed atmosphere. Order plenty as not the biggest portions but they taste incredible.

Love the biltong the nest you can get. I always grab around 2-3kg if I need a quick snack. Caroline and the team are so friendly and helpful.

Always have a nice meal in here when I’m down visiting the family, we usually go for the Tappy Burger or Flat Iron Steak, good value and delicious, the Poke bowls are lovely as well Really cool atmosphere and decor in the place, with cool pics, and surf vibes, the rustic tables which my brother made years ago are nice as well 🙂 A really cool bar that’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area 🍻

Amazing food the menu was expensive and would definitely recommend the penag curry. Service was second to none. Warm and friendly atmosphere
