Great jukebox not a lot of sixties music of the sort I prefer , the TV was so large that the football match that was being shown seemed to be in the room . Good selection of drinks friendly staff and regulars

Kids and pet friendly pub.. Great ale served by friendly happy staff. Food is great, the carvery on Sundays is fantastic.

Great food, good value. Pete sure knows his way round a kitchen. Tried most of the dishes on the menu either ourselves or family. The fish and chips are my wifes particular favourite, me, I love the steak pie. Sunday carvery very good and excellent value. Eaten here many times. Had my 80th birthday here and the cake Jay made as a surprise was unbelievable

60th birthday party...the food was fantastic ...fresh with lots of options... loved the grazing tables Very friendly staff .. Nothing was to much trouble.. I like to thank Jane and the staff for there hard work ... I recommend this venue for party's Plenty of room for everyone.. The grandchildren had a outside garden to run around ....

I've been a few times to watch some Rock n Roll bands.. it's recently been renovated which looks much better than before.

Had a fantastic evening there on Saturday night. The Budgie Smugglers were playing, they were great. The atmosphere was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the staff and Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤

Nice light serves food good friendly pub

Warm, friendly atmosphere - welcoming from the time we stepped through the door to us leaving. Lovely staff, great selection of drinks and the food is delicious!!! Huge selection, so hard to choose! But we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and left with full bellies (very generous portions at a good price!) - thank you all!

We were back in the area visiting family and took my elderly Auntie for lunch with my also elderly Dad, who’s wheelchair bound. Tina and her wonderful team could not have been more welcoming and helpful. And the food!! What can I say. My husband ordered the Ploughman’s and we all were envious of his choice....until our food arrived. The crab cakes were delicious and the salads were lovely and fresh. Tina and Louise make the scrummy desserts and there was a large selection to suit any sweet tooths. This is a restaurant where everything comes from the heart, the welcome and the food. We will be returning.

These guys are lovely, helpful and welcoming. My mum, my 2 brothers and I had a meal here yesterday. They were able to serve me a beautiful vegan meal (a lovely tasty beetroot and quinoa burger) and my brother had a lasagne which he said was delicious. It was pretty reasonable price too! The environment was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend to anyone for lunch or an evening meal. Call ahead if you're vegan and you want something in particular. They're happy to get stuff in and promised me a Portobello mushroom burger next time.

Went there with friends after visiting East Pool. Excellent fish and chips lunch. Good value. Very friendly staff.

It was closed when, I tried to go in, but it did look quite nice from the outside. Located on a through route with parking out the back.

I've never been treated so rudely in my life !!! Terrible lady manager aggressive and no manners or public relation skills. It took two hours for our meals to reach the table for a group of eight. Never again!!!

Had a fabulous meal tonight for my husband's birthday. Food was cooked to order and was cooked perfectly. Tina and Louise were very accommodating and extremely friendly and helpful. Staff behind the bar were very welcoming. Would definitely go back and would also recommend.

Excellent family friendly pub and restaurant. Great quality home cooked food cooked to your liking. My husband likes his steak very very well done. Friendly helpful staff. Always do their best to look after us. We have returned many times and look forward to our next meal next week and future family celebrations.

The food is OK definitely should go on Sundays for the carvery .

My husband and I called in on Sunday after doing some shopping. We were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful. Sunday lunch was excellent and good value. We live locally and will certainly be calling again and bringing family and friends.

This pub was closed for a while, and has reopened under new management. The bars have been tastefully renovated; and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I think it is in the estate of pubs owned by or tied to (not sure of the right term) the Keltec Brewery, in nearby Redruth. Whatever -- the draught beers (Keltec products when I was there) are excellent and well-kept by the cellarman. And there is a good range of other drinks, including Cornish ciders. When I went most recently it was as a family group of three to the Sunday carvery. I forget the exact price, but it was not more than £10 per head for a standard range of meats and veg. What stood out, and made this excellent value for money was the cooking. Everything was just right -- none of the soggy, overcooked veg that so often afflicts carvery food, and the meats were so tasty! When I put all these things together, I have no hesitation in saying we'll be back, and sooner rather than later.
