Went today for a tender chicken burger and 3 chicken strips. Probably the nicest chicken strips I have ever eaten. All three were of a decent size and were cooked to perfection. The coating is the same as the tender burger, which is crispy and flavoursome. The best burger and side combination i have purchased. Will definitely be returning 5*

25/09/2024 - Ate here due to being on a business trip. I was on my own, went to the desk to get a table. The guy on the desk was lovely and explained there wasn’t one available therefore could I go back in 10 to 15 minutes. If I’d like to get a drink at the bar and wait. I returned after 15 mins, there was a man ahead of me in the queue. He asked for a table, this time it was the Manager, a rather large guy, with a beard. Unfortunately I didn’t get his name. He proceeded to tell the man there weren’t any tables available. He asked us both to go and wait, yet again for me in the bar area. I explained I had already been asked to wait 10 to 15 mins and to come back. At this point I had waited 25 mins and explained this to him. He then became rather rude and said, “no you haven’t,” arguing with me, “and anyway there is this lady and these 4 people ahead of you before you can have a table.” Pointing at other people in the bar area. He smirked sarcastically as he said it. Then walked away!!! Extremely rude. The man ahead of me in the queue turned to me and said, “ he’s extremely rude isn’t he?”to which I replied, “ yes, you call that Customer Service?” If my meal hadn’t of been pre-paid by work, I definitely would’ve found somewhere else to eat. The Manager made me feel extremely uncomfortable especially being on my own. I had travelled by car for 4 hours was tired and hungry. The food wasn’t great I wouldn’t go there again. The Eton Mess I ordered, the fruit was still frozen - hence I couldn’t eat it. All in all my customer service experience wasn’t a pleasant one. I wish I had the Manger’s name to be more precise. Anyway you’ll know who he is. The date of my visit was 25/09/2024. Just to add the two girls who served me were very pleasant and gave great service. Both a credit to the restaurant as were very polite, friendly and attentive. A shame they had a poor role model in their Manager. I definitely wouldn’t return anytime soon!!! I await a reply.

Customer service was good. We were met promptly, shown to our table, Kyle was helpful and prompt and all other staff were pleasant enough. The food was underwhelming and overpriced. Nearly £200 for a family of 4 is expensive and we didn’t even have 3 courses! We all had calamari to start and it was very plain. The sauce helped slightly, but even that was not very flavourful. My son had a burger and the patty was overpowered with onion. My wife and I shared a butchers block. The ribeye was stringy and full of fat. The rump and fillet were nice but for a steak specialist location we expected a lot more. The chip portion was disappointing. Overall, ok but I doubt we’ll return any time soon as it’s too expensive for average food.

Absolutely abysmal effort of a restaurant! I’ll try and keep this as short as possible but in summary: After waiting an hour for our food to come out (this was after chasing a few times) I think some of our order was served to another table so we was told my child’s meal would take another 5-10 minutes. My food was not what I ordered so I had to make do as we were running out of time because we had theatre tickets booked. My wife’s chicken burger meat was stone cold like it hadn’t been cooked fully (possibly still partly frozen as I assume they don’t use fresh food) so she couldn’t eat it. My childs meal came out and the bun was still frozen inside. Again not edible. We ordered second drinks that never turned up (not offered complimentary because of the delay either) Never offered any condiments. Finally the manager Courtney came over and said she would fix this and this is where the kick in the teeth came. She took the meals off the bill (charged for all drinks) but because we had eaten some of the chips between the 3 of us (as it was the only thing edible) she decided to charge us for 2 sides of chips as well! I explained that we will have to go to our show now hungry and this has ruined the family meal out and we won’t get to eat now till 10pm at night, She couldn’t care less. Despite me suggesting that I can’t believe she is still going to charge considering they have ruined the start of our night, her attitude was simply “well you have eaten the chips so you should pay for them” !! I’ve never experienced such bad service before. It was chaotic in there. They have no systems in place because the tables in front and behind us you could hear also had problems. I was chatting to someone else from another table and they told me it’s like that a lot in there. They must employ young staff with no experience or training nor do they have any systems in place as they were run off their feet and everything seemed to be going wrong. These poor people must have to put up with constant customer disappointment and anger. Extremely shocking effort and I would never return. This place is not fast food and it’s very pricey so to expect some level of quality and service is not much to ask for!

Oh my.... I hadn't been to a five guys for some time but my latest experience was woeful. We ordered our food and waited and waited and waited. When we finally collected it and sat down, we opened the foil parcels only to discover soggy, cold and 'high' burgers and unappetizing fries. The only saving grace were the shakes. Overall, way too expensive for what was a very bad overall experience.

awful experience via drive thru - i was so underwhelmed by the way my order was taken for a chicken royale (specifically asked for WITHOUT cheese & bacon) - had to raise my voice to get her to hear me, she eventually confirmed the order with me to which i agreed, then got to the next window where i was charged what i thought was a lot for what i ordered. in any case being in a rush i paid this and got my order which ended up having the two things on it i said i didn’t want which were cheese and bacon 🙃 clearly they charged me extra for this too which explains the high price. i was in a rush and couldn’t stick around trying to get them to sort this out but i am disappointed in this service. i don’t recommend

Don't have less than 1 would have given less very rubbish store who has no clue of service times and not trained staff , very annoying
