We just celebrated our sons 18th Birthday and had the venue for private function. They provided an absolutely wonderful buffet for up to 80 and all food was freshly cooked by Casey and Jack, so much food and a wonderful choice too! We can’t speak highly enough about Oscar’s, they are all just so helpful and a genuinely lovely family business. Thank you to Sarah, Casey, Jack and the team for making such a lovely memory for our celebration. They also cook a mean Sunday roast, so would highly recommend a visit.

I will NEVER walk past this place without being tempted to STOP and eat. If you or your family are looking for a good quality, burger, an easy lunch or a dog and family friendly restaurant that offer good quality simple foods to please the masses. HMHB is the place to go. There is nothing complicated, they're not trying to be anything other than a very good burger restaurant.. and they do it very well! It's a small menu, which is a great sign, it offers MEAT, VEGAN & VEGGIE options. Good quality beef patties, GREAT FLAVOURS, friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. My only quo is that the chips can be a little small and a pain, however, the seasoning and flavour of the chips/fries are BLOODY LOVELY! warning: If they're busy, don't expect fast food restaurant timings, they do things properly, nothing is mass produced and we wait for quality.. Having eaten here for lunch, dinner and takeaways over the past few weeks, I have found it to be worth every penny.

The Downtown Diner in Robertson Street Hastings, East Sussex is a restaurant catering for American style food. Homemade Burgers, chicken, ribs, mac cheese etc. They cater for vegetarians and vegans also gluten free. They provide Sunday Lunch, and breakfasts. They also make amazing deserts. A lovely family restaurant. We had take-away Sunday Roast. I had childs portion my husband normal size. My portion was absolutely right for me. A superb roast beef, 4 different fresh vegetables and roast parsnips, Yorkshire pudd and lovely roast potatoes. The price was reasonable £6.90 for mine and £11.00 for my husband. The food arrived promptly to time and nice and hot, very important. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. If you visit the town pop in and give it a try.

The Smoke Shack team provided the food for a wine tasting and Jazz evening at Kingscote Vineyard. Wow! It was way beyond what we were expecting. The food was absolutely delicious and plenty of dishes to choose from. The staff were terrific too!

Pub grub with a gastro feel. Reasonably priced with plenty of choice. Atmosphere and service couldn't be better.

Arrived for brunch at 11.40am waited in a slow queue got to till at 12.02 not allowed the brunch. Due to being past 12, totally silly. Ordered croissants, not allowed after 12! Ordered banana milk shake not available! Took forever to arrive once we did get an order excepted🙄

Called in here for brunch. Our waitress was excellent; attentive without being overbearing. We ordered drinks and both the tea and the coffee were first rate. When the food arrived, we were both extremely pleased with the presentation and the quality of the food, which was way beyond expectations. The ambience and the decor were spot-on and the music was pitched just right and at an ideal volume. The staff were excellent without exception. Honestly, I cannot fault anything about Fagin's and I will return as soon as possible.

Far more expensive than the Costa just down the road! No proper cups for sit down customers. And horribly rude staff. Avoid.

Went in for a take away, all went well, very quiet but food arrived quickly.
