The Royal Albert pub and Thai restaurant in Hastings

Thia food was inedible as it was so sweet and unpleasant. I had the Pad Thia and green curry both were the same. The worst meal I had ever eaten We had an order delivered. On ringing the pub, neither the manager or chef were in to speak to me. My phone number was taken but after 24 hours I have not received any phone call. Definitely won't be going here again.

Food I have only had from delivery but it has been spot on and amazing every time. Thank you

Thai food here is the best around. St Leonard's has 2 of the best thai restraunt in Sussex. This place will not fail to deliver.

I have to say the food was incredibly fresh, amazingly tasty and reasonably priced!! The waitress and the bar staff, were helpful , friendly and professional. The chef came out to serve some of the food, she was very courteous and friendly and and the food for four of us was divine. We will all back soon. Keep up the great work.

A nice thriving traditional pub, with events held regularly from music , live football and burger/steak nights and more. Is a lively and popular pub for locals. ( haven't tried food here so unrated )

Went for a burger and magic night and had a fantastic time. Also very impressed with the low prices for alcohol.

Really authentic Thai food. Reasonably priced, taste delicious. Highly recommend. Set in pub environment, so it can be a little noisy, but don’t let it put you off from a really good value food.

The food was delivered an hour late. Over two hours after ordering. We were then missing two dishes. Upon letting the restaurant know they told me they would have to speak to management if I wanted a refund. So we had to wait an additional hour for them to be delivered. Needless to say we no longer needed them. The red, green and massaman curries were indistinguishable apart from the huge pieces of potatoe in the massaman. I would not recommend and would never order from here again.

Great pub with great food and friendly staff and customers

I recently ordered take away Thai food from The Royal Albert Pub in Hastings, and it was an absolute delight! The flavors were authentic and bursting with freshness. The pad Thai was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of tanginess and spice. The green curry had a rich and creamy texture. The portion sizes were generous, and the packaging ensured that the food stayed hot and fresh during transit. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service. I highly recommend The Royal Albert for their excellent Thai food.

Absolutely lovely food and beer. The atmosphere was great so was the people, a game of pool and a couple of pints and a thai takeaway. Thank you to the owners of the Albert and there staff. We'll recommend.

Really, really excellent Thai food, probably the best we’ve had locally! Came at least 15 minutes early based on the estimate and was hot, fresh and delicious without feeling super greasy and unhealthy. Spot on.

Was looking for some good food yesterday 29/5/23. Saw the reviews for the Thai food. They're all spot on. It was delivered hot 15 mins earlier than told. The chicken in it was plentiful and lge chunks too, with rice I was going to make 2 meals out of it. Never happened I ate the lot it was so delicious. If the other food is that good I'm eating here again! Highly recommend. What's more I don't usually leave written reviews just stars. So whoever the chef is, don't loose them! Dave Fletcher

We ordered a thai takeaway from Royal Albert on Saturday. The food arrived well packaged and piping hot, the service was quick and friendly and the food was very authentic and truly delicious, looking forward to the next order already.

I ordered a delivery couple of nights ago for myself and my daughter . The food arrived in 30 mins . We ordered starters and a main. Food was delivered hot and everything was thoughtfully packaged. All dishes were delicious . We will be ordering again :))

Food was nice but not hot enough.

Beautifully cooked beef, perfect roast potatoes, delicious veg all topped with a perfect Yorkshire pudding. Perfect!

Excellent roast dinner, best I've had out in a long while. Very reasonable drink prices as well, seems to be cheaper than a lot of other pubs in Hastings. Highly recommend this pub, will definitely be coming here for a roast again

We have a Thai takeaway once a week every week and know what to expect, this week we ordered from the Royal Albert, it was amazing, vegetables were very fresh, noodles were perfect and the whole meal was excellent. I cant recommend enough

Had Sunday Roast, was 10/10! Everything you want on one plate. Plenty of flavours and the beef was cooked to perfection!

Have been coming to this pub for a few years now, the staff are amazing however since the introduction of the Thai food 4 days a week I’ll be coming here a lot more. Great prices and great people

Can’t speak highly enough of this pub. A proper public house well run by the owners who know the pub trade inside out, cater for locals as well as people coming in for their first time. Fantastic evenings of live music in a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Everything you would want in a pub.

Reasonable local lager and sports pub.

Owners are great in supporting the customers and local area. The staff are spot on. The steak on a stone Thursday night's is bang on. You can guarantee your pint will be spot on and you can always find someone to have a natter of with. Most weekends you will find the football is on the tv and entertainment in the way live bands or karaoke. A great local pub
