So sad that this place was supposed to have been 'saved' by the new owner, but has completely lost any essence of what it once was. Such a damn shame to have a brilliant venue turn into what it is now.

Came here Sunday afternoon for lunch. Always good food and good beer. This place should be way busier!

I went to 1573 today with some girlfriends for lunch and cocktails, the waiter bought over our drinks,the waitress bought over a jug of water, she smashed a glass by accident , straight away it was cleared away including my cocktail which was replaced. The food was great, fab atmosphere, staff extremely attentive, waitress apologised, but no need all was well. A few minor hiccups with our starter sharing nachos, but was immediately replaced, staff were so helpful and went above and beyond for us all. Thankyou guys for a great meal, the food was a delight ,staff saw to our every need, well be back.

Disappointing Afternoon Tea Experience Unfortunately, our afternoon tea experience fell far below expectations. From the start, we were told we couldn’t choose our sandwiches because we hadn’t given 48 hours’ notice — something that was never mentioned on the website, in the confirmation email, or via text. The sandwiches we were served tasted dry and slightly stale. The soup was the only highlight in terms of taste, but it was far too salty to fully enjoy. When we asked to take our remaining desserts home, we were told they had no takeaway containers and were instead offered foil wrap, which felt unprofessional and impractical, especially for delicate sweets. To top it off, we had to chase the waiter just to pay the bill — not ideal when you're already ready to leave after a disappointing visit. Overall, it felt like poor communication and lack of attention to detail really let the experience down. Would not recommend unless significant improvements are made.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. The sizzler plates are full of the CHEAP carbohydrate of your choice (rice/noodles) to give the illusion of a good portion size, however the actual meat quality and quantity is seriously lacking! The food has no flavour at all (BLAND X1000). Extremely overpriced. After speaking with a member of staff (who appeared to be the manager) about our experience, he did not seem at all interested in any sort of feedback.

Regular place whenever a sweet fix is required. Local, convenient, one of the best #cookie #doughs, staff are friendly, reasonably priced. The place is a tad bit small, so if you are a big group, plan in advance or call in beforehand.

Had to feed my teenage kids and 4 year old nephew last night as my wife and sisters abandoned me so they could go out partying. Decided on Street as have eaten there before and my kids have always enjoyed it. Last night didn’t disappoint - the food was good, the service was great, the atmosphere was spot on and the bill was sensible. Thanks guys, we will be back!

Really good burgers, tasty and full of favour. Service from Molly was exceptional, she was attentive to the whole restaurant by herself and was very friendly and professional.

Brillant host Alec who was very helpful in siggestions of what to do and visit locally. Most importantly popular menu dishes which was delicious especially mozzarella sticks and the ribs in their lovely bbq sauce

I held my birthday party here and had a great time!

What a Jewel of a Restaurant. Elegantly designed period building that epitomizes the grandeur of a luxury stately home blended with a contemporary interior designed to feel warm and welcoming. The menu is extremely reasonably priced with a wide selection of beef cuts and everything you would expect to find in a 5 star restaurant without the pomp. I will certainly be back for seconds.
