The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving American food

Really great food, burgers were amazing as was the pulled pork, highly recommend.

We visited for a Mother’s Day lunch, we ordered the never ending Sunday lunch which was served with the cuts of meat on the plate and vegetables in sliver dish , we was expecting it to all be served on a sharing board like previous visits , when we questioned it we were told the table was not big enough , at no point was this explained when we ordered. Our waitress was very slow , we asked for more meat and vegetables took a good 20 minutes to arrive . The lamb was chewy and the Sirloin was over salted , quality of meat was poor . At no point was we asked if we would like extra drinks or if everything was ok with our meal , service was shocking . I asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill and will not return . Disappointing meal which should have been an enjoyable Mother’s Day lunch .

A nice place to eat with a nice menu. E tried the chicken salad with pineapple and it was very good.

Probably the best venue in the area early evening Friday - you could talk. Not too busy. Bit of background music but sitting outside at the back an enjoyable evening- not the cheapest drinks but still worth a visit. Toilets closer ( only just) than your average Spoons.

Food was gorgeous had a 3 course group on meal / spring rolls / lasagna / biscof cheese cake all to die for

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, food as always really good… stuffed and happy every time… according to my partner best steak around… we love going there as place is special for us… as couple as family and with friends, every time is all as should be… only little thing is that me personally liked chunky chips more but still nice… and miss nachos with sauces as they were served before … will be back soon

Easy to get to when driving into Barnstaple from Dartmoor. You can order online on the way. The pick up with minimal wait. I stay on a mates farm nearby. The Pelican has less tourists is more local. Clean quality fish and chips. See you soon. Regards D

First time in Blocks, we have a caravan in Cockermouth but usually have the dog with us so took the opportunity to try it while we were dog free! Did not disappoint Amazing food, friendly staff and our server Eve was fabulous. One of the best steaks I've had. Will definitely be back xx
