Part of a group having brunch in Southampton. The ladies toilets were filthy. Mould up the walls & general grubbiness everywhere. Graffiti on backs of doors. No toilet paper in some stalls. No soap in some dispensers. Women deserve good hygiene standards. This venue falls well below even basic cleanliness. Revolted at Revolution!

Visited on Bank Holiday Sunday and was greeted by Brogan and Jake who were amazing! The Margaritas were fabulous and it was so nice to see them enjoying themselves. The sun was shining so the rooftop was open and they were really on it with checking on the customers upstairs. Just a great experience!

Booked a table for 4 at the beginning of the week, when we arrived we found that we had been shoved in a corner by the waiter stand/coffee machine by a table that had been moved to create space. We wanted to order some cocktails for my friends birthday. We waited 20 minutes for anyone to even speak to us and half the menu wasn’t available. This was at 5pm on a Saturday night! Only 1 bartender , so we then waited another 20 minutes for our drinks. We finally managed to order some food. Granted we didn’t expect the food to be great. We were more wanting to grab a bite before drinking. However the food was horrendous. Nachos were stale, chips not cooked, one request of no salad in a burger came with salad, but took the sauce out? Chicken was dry and burger tasteless. We weren’t asked if we wanted any sauces and the waitress completely ignored us when we tried to grab her attention. We spent over £100 (If we had more options and better service we would have stayed longer) and was an all round terrible experience. I’ve worked in hospitality for 14 years and I have never left a review as I understand how hard the job is. But everything was so bad - food, lack of drinks, the wait times and the staff - who could do with some customer service training! All of these things can be avoided with staff that care a bit more. Won’t be going back.

Met with friends there mid week evening. Maybe 10-15 other customers, not all ordering food. Waited over an hour for a pizza and fries. The pizza was pretty small to be honest too. Was very close to canceling order and going somewhere else. They said just one cook in the kitchen, but barely anyone else was ordering. Wont go there again.

We had an afternoon tea for 2 voucher so we booked via phone a few weeks before. On May 10th, we showed up for our booking at 1pm. They could not find our booking because “a third party company sorts their bookings and rely on them to put it on their system”. They said we could still have our afternoon tea so they put us at a table. It was not busy at all, there were 2 or 3 tables of people eating/drinking. No one came over to ask what tea/coffee we wanted, so after about fifteen mins just sitting there we went up to the bar to place our order for tea & coffee. 10 minutes later they started making our latte & tea. They were not busy at all, so waiting 10 mins for them just to start making them felt a bit excessive. No communication from the staff at all about what to expect/when our food would arrive. We waited 30 more mins whilst being ignored by staff before we asked the manager on duty when we can expect our food. She went into the kitchen to check for us, but never came back. A waiter came over 5-10 mins later to say it’d be just 5 more mins for our food. Ten mins later our food came out, and it was the saddest plate of fried appetizer food after a whole hour of waiting. Once again, they were not busy at all so to have to wait an hour for food (and be blatantly ignored by staff) that was cooked in 10 mins was ridiculous. The manager on duty acted like we were an inconvenience because their booking company messed up. They didn’t check up on us at all or extend their apologies for it taking so long. I’m a very patient person and I completely understand if restaurants are understaffed - I’ve worked service jobs. I was made to feel like I did something wrong. The fact that this was meant to cost £35 for two people is outrageous. You’d have to pay ME £35 to sit through that experience again.

The new menu did not disappoint!! The Truffle Maker - Super flavourful double beef smash burger with the extra treat of a truffle gravy for dipping both burger and fries- unbelievably moreish! The Seoul Destroyer - Crispy chicken delight with a little bit of bite in this burger, it paired perfectly with the tasty tater tots- definitely good for the soul! The Coca Cola Pizza - Sweet and saucy, who knew our favourite drink would go so well on a pizza a mouth watering twist on a standard BBQ base- as Revs say... An all round kick ass pizza! We also had some stunning cocktails which are on a 2-4-1 all day every!! We can't wait to come back for some bottomless brunch and a boogie! Big thanks to the team at Revs especially Charlie for the menu recommendations and concocting our delightful cocktails!

Took my son in here on a Saturday lunch time after going to the barbers. Managed to get a 2 for £10 meal deal on a chicken burger (which he loved) and a chicken kebab/flatbread which I really enjoyed. The sun was out so got to enjoy the roof terrace which was nice, although could do with a little TLC before the actual summer gets here. Staff were all nice although as we were on the roof and it was quiet up there, the place was a bit forgotten about so a number of tables left full of glasses and plates. That said we'll happily come back again, especially when the food was such good value 👍
