Tribal Burger in Belfast

Forgot some of my order had to drive back to get it and get handed 2 of these ! Absolutely disgusting you could swim in the grease and to top it they aren’t even cooked properly

Two adults and two teens for a casual meal out. Between us we had the Dirty Bird, Cheeseburger and BBQ pulled pork burger and a combination of skinny fries and sweet potato fries. We all really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is rough and ready but clean and efficient and staff are friendly and helpful. Just what we needed.

Some of the items on the menu,they didn't have. 2 in particular I wanted. Tho what I did get was very nice. Good size portions. Friendly staff.

The blue cheese burger is too salty. Big dips for only 1.50. Chips are a good side to have.

We get takeaway here all the time, the burgers are good but the skinny fries and wings are even better. Pepper sauce lovely too. I do find it a touch awkward when picking up food for takeaway being asked to give a tip. I understand if sitting in and getting table service but asking for a tip when I'm collecting food seems strange to me.

The cheeseburger was OK, nothing negative about it whatsoever but also nothing that made me want to proclaim my undying devotion to all in earshot. High tables and stools, a little cramped, but it matches the currently expected look for these places. No glass offered for the can of beer, tut tut. Plenty of choice in the area, take your pick.

Disappointed with burger it was a slightly elevated mcdonalds type burger with thin, dry pattie.

Good place for burgers and vegetarian food. Rustic and simple, but serves very tasty food. Service is efficient. Only complaint was that restaurant was very cold.

Best burger I’ve ever had! I had the Tribal Burger and Mexican/chilli loaded fries. An absolute winner! All seats were filled but our food came within 5 minutes of ordering and piping hot. Fairly priced too

The place is nice but I didn't like the food at all. I couldn't digest the pulled pork, the fries tasted bad and I didn't like the stringy cheese.

My son and I visited at 5.30pm on Sunday. This time to the Botanic Avenue and as I haven't been to Tribal in a few years and the last time was at their premises in Calendar Street. Nothing has changed, well maybe the price, nearly £30 for two classic burgers, a tribal chip, a taco chip, and two soft drinks. I need say nothing apart from if you want a delicious burger and chips go no where else. Full marks for the food however I am dropping the overall score from 5 to 4 as I think it's a bit costly.

Over an hour and 40 minutes waiting on a delivery. No contact from them to mention the food is delayed. Over an hour after it said it would be delivered so far. Still waiting with no sign of food. This is my first and last order with these guys.

Headed up on recommendation by the missus. Absolutely lovely burgers and very friendly staff, lady taking our order was very pleasant and well mannered. The food itself was gorgeous, the missus got the spicy bird and I got the wings. Great Value & some of the best chicken we've had in a long time, was worth the 30min drive!! Highly recommend

Very good burgers and chicken wings

The food was absolutely terrible.... I paid 30 pound for burnt chewy chips that were drowned in cheese sauce and 3 pieces of bacon crumbs. My partners was the exact same ..I looked around at others chips and they were all the same...so disappointing... A lot of money for a very poor and disappointing meal... I am not fussy but couldn't even eat it..

I had a gift voucher from work with £50 on it that was about to expire and Tribal Burger is something I had during the lockdown and had wanted to go over and sit in so this was the perfect opportunity to do just that, brought a friend to help me spend it,2 portions of 20 hot wings,2 tribal fries (potato wedges) and 2 Tribal Burgers,have to say I think Tribal Burgers wings are some of the best about, deep fried and crispy they were just amazing, mouth watering thinking about them,I got Buffalo which was my preference,the burger also was top quality, absolutely gorgeous and again one of the best around,and they have some competition about,must say the only very small complaint was the wedges,not really a fan, always think you should get lovely crispy fries with a burger,but again that's just myself,the staff were also fantastic, sorted a small problem with my voucher in no time, literally can't wait to go back.

Favourite lunchtime treat - heard of this place by word of mouth and it’s now one of my favourite places! Food arrives fast and always tastes great!

For the price I was expecting a five star ✨ burger but I was disappointed!!! Burger overcooked soggy bun and generally lacking in flavour. As a chef I would advise the owners to please toast the burger buns ,cook burgers less,use crispy salad garnish and do not wrap it all up in paper!!!

Highly reviewed for a reason, this place is very good over all. Only gripe is that I think they overcook the burgers slightly, especially the chicken. They tend to be a bit dry.

Visited with my family pre concert. We ordered 4 different burgers and a few types of fries. The food was great, kids were happy and the service was fantastic including the guy who was up for a bit of banter.

First time here, very pleased. Food was quick and delicious. We had Pork belly fries the pork was succulent and melted in your mouth. The chicken fries with buffalo sauce and blue cheese mayo , spicy. The chicken bacon ranch fries went down well, and buffalo wings delish.

Won’t be back here again. The staff seem fairly miserable. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry and it doesn’t hurt to smile at customers. I ordered food to takeaway and then she asked if I wanted to give a tip when ordering a takeaway. I wouldn’t mind if the service was exceptional and they were really friendly but that’s not the case here. Our food took an age and was given to us without the drinks we ordered. When I asked for them she tells me ‘they’re in the fridge.’ Behind the counter. As if I was supposed to get them myself?!? Her attitude was atrocious. Wish the food made up for things. It didn’t. It was so salty, it was like drinking sea water.

I usually order collection from here. They have a policy of bringing the food round from the counter and handing it's to the customer with a smile. The staff are always exceedingly friendly and whoever came up with this model of customer service should be commended and emulated. Well done :)

Best food I've had in a long time.

Ordered 5 burgers online and paid nearly £50 at time of order. I got a text saying the burgers would be ready in 30 mins. I was close by so sat in the comfort of my car do about 20 mins awaiting collection for my family. I went in at the time sent in the text message and the girl goes, ohh we will start these now!!!! I said I had a text saying that they would be ready now, but she said they don’t start making them until you show up. Asked how long and she said she couldn’t tell us. Whats the point of using the app? And why wait until I turn up? I have pre-paid you are not going to be out of pocket if I don’t turn up. Really annoyed 😡🤬😡

Strong recommendations for lunch menu, good value for money

I mostly enjoy their veggie burgers. It's refreshing to have a place just make them nice and fresh, going plant based rather than trying to imitate meat. If I want meat I'll order a regular burger now and then. Their chips are really the star though. I love their buffalo chip and I think they may have perfected the pepper chip. I also love that I can switch up between the skinny and chunky chips since both of them are delicious.

Great gluten free options, they take care with cross contamination for celiacs / coeliacs. Enjoyed burgers (gf buns), fries, and wings. Safe, tasty, and good value.

Absolutely loved the music !!!! But ordered the tribal chips and got a boiled potato loved the minty stick side pieces

Fab food! A little pricer than expected but it was all so good we didn't mind!

Took my son for lunch as a wee bank holiday treat. Had the chicken fries and the pork belly bites. My son had a classic cheeseburger and chips and he absolutely loved it. Good quality food, good amount of food, great flavour combos we thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again in future. Price range is about the average price for a dining experience these days, better than other fast food outlets for sure.

Yummy! Loved the bbq pulled pork on fries! The strawberry lemonade was also really nice!

Best place when your being treated

Firstly I have to say the first time we visited Tribal burger I would have given a five star rating, however on my last visit the burger was dry and tasteless, Frye's tasteless and soggy, couldn't find the cheese in the burger overwhelming taste of vinegar from the dressing,in short for £34 with tip for two burgers Fry's and two drinks overpriced and not great at all!!my partner only ate half of her meal.

My husband and I called in here last night as we wanted some quick, reasonably priced food. Tribal Burger totally delivered, our burgers were so juicy and tasty and the taco fries were delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Bill for 2 burgers, taco fries and 2 cokes was £26, which in today's climate we thought was good value. We would definitely recommend eating here.

Staff was rude and took offence that I lifted up my hand to request that they attend to my enquiry.

Offer promotion of £5 per burger was not available for online ordering. We had to pay full price as if we were eating in. This was more expensive that promoted & took extra time to collect.

Ordered 'The Blue Bird'. buttermilk Chicken, blue cheese, rocket and burger sauce, delicious, great piece of chicken, very filling just the Burger, we made the mistake of ordering loads fries which we just couldn't finish. Great service, only negative were the coke and lemonade could have been colder, coke was served just as it is, no glass or ice

Burgers are delicious. Skinny fries were a tasty surprise compared to the normal. I would suggest providing a wet wipe with the burgers as they're very hands on.

Love this place but they have a habit of getting your takeaway order wrong and not just missing or forgetting a few things they give you something completely different from what you ordered.

Ohmygosh simply delicious. First time here. Boys had burgers I had vegan fries, smothered in spicy curry with fresh chillies and crispy chickpeas. Absolutely amazing. So tasty. Lovely staff and a cosy comfy place to hang out and relax

Very nice service, great tasting, kitchen is clean. and thanks for the staff bringing hot water to desk while I felt stomach pain (as a Chinese drinking hot water is a tradition when feeling uncomfortable) thanks a lot! Will come again

Have ordered takeaway a couple of times, but sat in for the first time. The staff were really friendly and the food came out quite quickly! Got the buffalo wings with blue cheese dip. I felt like the wings weren’t well coated in the buffalo sauce, most of the sauce was under the wings. Was tasty once I coated them properly, but sadly didn’t live up to the expectation. I’ve had the burgers before and loved them! I’m sure I’ll order again for the burgers or try the dirty fries!

In with friends who were grabbing a bite to eat before a concert. Nice selection of beers and other. Food looked amazing and got good feedback. Looking forward to making a visit back before the festive season is over for the Xmas dirty fries and a tribal craft beer!! Great service attentive staff and pleasant crowd in, students, families and the rest.

Sweet mercy what a fantastic cheats dinner I had. The staff were great as the chicken burger was amazing. It was clean and very busy. We got the last two seats and people kept queuing for space to sit. The takeaway was also very busy.

Every time I go here the food is fantastic, the staff are great and the atmosphere is perfect. I took the opportunity to go just as they opened and the food was fantastic as always and the wait wasn't long at all. The staff were great, even directing me to their lunch offer which was such a deal. Would recommend this to anyone

Wings, burger and fries were all too drawer!

Best chicken wings by far, anywhere! Buffalo with blue cheese dressing, yum. Burgers are top notch, every time. Chopped fries a great idea when you fancy burger and chips without the bap. I’m a regular, not ashamed to admit it!

I love this place. I am celiac and this place was heaven. The staff totally gets it. I had a Dirty Chicken burger on a GF bun that made my day.

The cheeseburger was tasty but nothing special about it. The chocolate milkshake was nice but te Ferrero one was delicious, definitely recommend.
