OK....first of all you need to know that I made this review several years ago and just now realized that I had posted it to the WRONG Greyhound....my bad. Here is my review as posted.........Spent a night across the street at The Mariner Hotel after missing the ferry to Ireland down at Pembroke. Not sure where to eat so we stumbled across the street to The Greyhound Hotel for a bit of bar food. Started out in the pub that had a half dozen or so locals there drinking ale and watching football. I bought a round for the boys and the party was on. Very friendly and fun bunch of blokes that the wife and I very much enjoyed meeting and spending time with. After a couple of beers we went upstairs for a bite to eat, and the experience could not have been better! We both had the fish and chips, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best meals I have ever had, and the price (about 8 pounds) was to die for (see photos), The fish was fresh, the batter was wonderful, the mushy peas were fresh and flavorful and the chips? Well they were hot and fresh and more than we could eat. The couple running it (he cooking and she serving) were a hoot, The place is very small and probably seats no more than 20 but several tables were filled with locals, and they were all very friendly and open. One of the highlights of our trip.

I have never submitted a negative review before. My old dad used to say, "If you cannot say something good, don't say anything. Ð" Sorry, Dad. Our brief visit to the Ivy Bush a little earlier today was a bitter disappointment to me ,my wife, and the people Narberth. We fancied a drink to celebrate my wife's birthday. Ordered the drinks and drank the drinks as quickly as we could . The reason for our haste was that the lovely quaint locals referred to in previous reviews had a severe foul language problem. One customer couldn't put a sentence together without using the F wording he didn't mind who heard it. All the people in the bar entered into the language foray including a woman who shouted "P**** of ", every two minutes and was referred to as a "Lying B******". On leaving, I made a point of addressing the locals and expressed my disappointment as to their language only to be asked did I want someone to show me the door. My whole working life was spent working with men and women in sometimes distressing circumstances so bad language is not something I'm shy of, but there is a time and place.
All the food was absolutely delicious my only problem was the size of the wrap. I ordered a chicken shish wrap and it was smaller than my hand. All of the bottom was just bread.
The burger van was illegally sited. After a long battle the council finally moved it on. Although the food was amazing. The two local cafes should learn from these guys!
I used to go here on occasion while stationed at Brawdy. It was a great place to go after a session of surfing. I was saddened to hear that it recently suffered a fire.
A very busy Saturday night with the phone going non stop. Lots of people walking in and ordering. The wait was long but that was understandable and worth it. The food was good, not greasy as many other Chinese take aways. The Singapore fried rice could have been spicier but the chicken made up for it. Recommended but expect to wait at busy times as it's good.
There’s a bit of a dichotomy about this pub. The location is just lovely and especially so on a sunny day with the cracking beer garden right by the waters edge to sit in.
Like other reviewers, I can’t fault the food. It is damn tasty, the portions are good and it is presented in a modern but not pretentious way.
But the surroundings are at odds with the food that is presented with care and attention to detail. The chairs are grubby and contact/ Lino that has been applied to some of the tabletops is visibly peeling and chipped. There are chunks of paint missing from the walls in places. The decor in the ladies bathroom is pretty outdated and not in keeping with the attempt to modernise the rest of the interior of the pub. Also it could badly do with replacing the chair in the bathroom with a compact changing table. There’s nowhere to put the changing mattress that’s in there apart from on the fooor?! In my opinion, if you welcome families, there’s a need for a proper changing facility.
Food is fab, staff are lovely, location is super. Pub itself just needs a bit of TLC really.
Lovely light lunch in a beautiful setting. Our food was really tasty and enjoyable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Dog friendly, with water available at each table.
Would definitely return.
Nice little pub, now called Harbwr. Food a bit more expensive now and seems a little less choice, but was good quality and we enjoyed.
Nice beer garden to relax in.

Enjoyed great food and drinks, Y Cerrig Glas pub is a must-visit! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure you're well taken care of. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, from hearty pub classics to delicious local specialties, all beautifully prepared. Well worth visiting
Wonderful fish shop. Friendly staff. Reasonable price. Bought fish and chips, which we ate on the seafront. Fish non greasy, tasty batter and flaky cod. Chips perfect. Large portions. Would thoroughly recommend. Absolutely delicious.
Was hoping to receive award winning fish and chips having seen all the awards, but the batter was not great, chips were (as others have mentioned) a bit of a mush stuck to the fish, and person serving us seemed completely disinterested and bored. The fish cake wasn’t bad, but overall a disappointment especially as we waited ages for it to be cooked “fresh”.
