Fecci's fish & chips in Pembrokeshire

Ordered fish and chips for 2 then told to wait outside and I was really cold. Waited nearly 20 minutes and a lady with a young child questioned how much longer her food would be and told the orders were done in order they came in . We had ours and she was waiting outside before we even went in to order so I told your colleagues this when I collected mine which was before this lady had hers. Only to have one of your team SHOUT after me 'They come out when they are ready' !!! Such a shame as our food was lovely but your service has gone downhill .

Sat in the restaurant and had cod and chips. The food was delicious and the staff were very supportive and gave great service. The staff were very helpful getting me into the restaurant as I have mobility issues and use a mobility scooter and crutches. Would highly recommend a visit if in Tenby.

Just finished dinner here tonight was wonderful. Staff were friendly, place clean and the food was yummy. My son and I cannot eat wheat so the gluten free battered cod and chips was our selection, my husband had the healthy option cod & chips which he really enjoyed. Our battered fish was not oily and freshly cooked. Price was very reasonable much cheaper than we have been paying. It is licensed too. If in Tenby I can highly recommend a visit.

Over many years fecci has been our favourite fish and chips in Tenby. No longer though today we had cod and chips to take away after waiting 20 mins for them to be cooked fresh we were expecting a decent meal but on opening them we found greasy cod covered with an equally greasy mush of chips. They were dreadful and at £24 for two meals and £2 for a can drink then not cheap sad to say this is clearly not one of the best anymore

Shocking ! Visited at 6pm this eve (4th sept 2024) for a takeaway . Whist in the queue I noticed the cook touching the chips ..as he took them out of the fryer , almost squishing them ? I guess to see if they were cooked ! ! Ordered and was asked to wait outside . Fine so far . 40 minute wait ! I could see that part of my order had been prepared and was wrapped and just sat going soggy ! 10 mins sat to be precise ! I questioned as to whether this was my order and got the response yes but they were waiting for the last part of my order to be prepared .. I was assured all was fine . 45 mins in all from the time I ordered to time of collection ! Standing outside ! Took back to my holiday let for my family … £40 worth ! 3 mini fish n chips and a battered sausage n chips ! Absolutely shocking ! Soggy Chips, limp uncrispy cod ! 🤢. Shocking portion size . Asked for just salt on one of the meals .l but got vinegar ! An honest review … I love Tenby and have visited many times and have had lovely chips from here before but after this eve will never go again .. place has gone down terribly .. This is where seaside places let themselves down when their standards drop yet there prices rise ! Unfortunately Will never go again and will never recommend ! Highly priced seaside rubbish ! Very very disappointing ! An expensive lesson Learned ..

Fabulously delicious gluten free fish and chips, with the extra bonus of curry sauce AND GF chip shop vinegar. Notices also showed which of the other sauces were gluten free and which not. Really felt like care had been taken.

Worst take away chips we have ever had,£3.50 for a tiny tray of just a mushy mess . It was as if someone had squeezed them into the tray with their hands, we had to physically separate the mess to salvage a few lumps of fried potatoes,we certainly will not use again. Back too park road chippy next time we are in Tenby .

The best fish and chips as usual. All served fresh so you do have to wait a while sometimes. The fish cake was delicious. Wish we'd gone sooner than our last day in Tenby

This used to be a wonderful chip shop, rightly renown as the best in Tenby. Over the last three years I have given it three “another chances” but it’s so poor now. I sat in this time, a battered sausage and chips and a cod and chips and two lagers for a little over £27. Served in takeaway punnets. The portions were small, the fish was slim, mostly skin, the batter was mushy. It was worse than average. I don’t know what happened, but it’s gone from hero to zero in the last few years. I will recommend avoiding it.

Fish and chips was very poor, fish was tasteless, batter on the fish was like rubber, the chips were dry as if they were re heated! Rubbish food, waste of money. Never go back

Fish and chips to take away. Good fish. Ethically and legally sourced from the North Sea. Chips a plenty. Friendly helpful staff. Eat food on a bench overlooking the sea.

Totally disappointing experience!! We firstly were abruptly told by a member staff if we wanted to eat in , to order at counter and that the food would be served in takeaway containers and wooden knives and forks due to lack of staff. I ordered the regular fish and chips, my wife meat pie and chips. When the food arrived I questioned if the fish was a small portion due to very small size but was told it was the regular!! The small fish must be the size of a fish finger!! The food itself can only be described as average and overpriced How this fish and chips shop has won any awards beggars belief. Another totally unprofessional practice was to witness the “ manageress “ sitting on a table counting out cash for the staff wages. Not only doing this in front of customers but also shouting instructions to the staff in a very rude manner. The only positive of the experience was being served our food in (takeaway containers) by Andy who was pleasant and helpful. Certainly will not be returning!!!!

Amazing, tasty, fresh fish and chips. The fish was perfectly battered and crispy and the chips were of excellent quality - I was later told the potatoes come from a local farm. We ate our first meal there when we arrived in Tenby and I also had my last meal there as I just couldn't resist! The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

The takeaway may be OK but the restaurant is awful. Dark, cold, wooden knives and forks, cardboard plates...... and expensive! The attitude of the server wasn't great either It's Winter now so you can stop fleecing the tourists because there are none! I would not recommend and I won't be back..

Couldn’t fault the quality of food or the service but was not impressed by having it in a cardboard box while sat at the table with wooden knives and forks. The worst part was paying £2.75 for a cup of tea served in a small cardboard disposable cup. The profit margin for the tea must be phenomenal. Sorry Feccis, you won’t be seeing us again, unless you change the presentation of the food.

Excellent quality chips, potatoes grown in their own farm in Haverfordwest. Not a big fan of chips myself but loved these. Reason we went to Fecci’s my daughter is coeliac and she could have gluten free chips, sausage in batter and curry sauce, just because she could. We also noticed another woman there who was coeliac and that says it all for the quality, quantity and value The staff are all trained with regards to gf, know exactly which condiments are suitable and have gluten free vinegar. They are extremely sociable and nothing is too much trouble 💫

I am gluten free and it’s great to find anywhere that caters for gf, but to eat the best ever gluten free fish n chips ever makes your holiday! Absolutely delicious and a lovely eat in or take-away restaurant. Thank you for accommodating us gf x

Visited today as a large family plus a dog. The 2 x gluten free fish and chips were fabulous. The other adult and children’s meals also went down a treat. Service was great and they took time to check we were happy with the food, which was outstanding. Happy family. Happy dog! Thank you.

We just had a fantastic fish supper in Fecci’s and saw an old gentleman being treated with huge respect and care by Mr Fecci and his team, it was really lovely to witness. It goes without saying that the fish and chips were delicious, we always eat here when visiting Tenby😊

Often come here for fish and chips when on holiday. Always been very good but today it was the worse that we’ve had any where ever! Change of ownership or just a bad night - I don’t know - but it was terrible.

Delicious fish and chips - fresh cod in crunchy golden batter. The only downside for us was that the skin was still on, which isn’t a thing back home. The food was served on take away packaging as they were short-staffed but that did not detract from the tastiness. The staff in the sit down part of the establishment were lovely and the take out section was doing a roaring trade.

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had 2 x chips and 2 x cod 1 peas cost £19.55 which I don’t mind paying but there was hardly any fish skin was left on full of bones and batter was thick soggy and disgusting will not be going back.

Called in twice and each time, the cod was delicious and really fresh. The chips were better on one visit than the other, but all highly edible and I was impressed that I didn't get the usual indigestion with fish and chips. Highly recommend this...
