Nice place, great staff and great food. Would highly recommend a visit.

What’s happening here? You used to serve a delicious salad with chicken & bacon topping but the past few times we’ve been with you, the chicken was completely dried out, also the bacon was very easy forgettable. The beer was undrinkable, very cloudy & Rancid. Very disappointed. Yet I’ve been with you many times before & we couldn’t fault you. We are really considering whether to return back to you.

This is our local restaurant, and we have always been here when visiting family, before we moved here permanently. The booking system was really easy to use to book our time slot, it’s really helpful that they provide a text to confirm your table. We have always found that the staff here are all very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food came quickly and it was very tasty, great flavour and nicely cooked to perfection. A great selection of food and drinks available and plenty of tables, so no need to worry about getting a table. We’ve always visited on a weekday, so can’t comment on weekends. The bar staff are great to chat too and have good banter, which I feel makes the place feel more welcoming. Always good to have some good conversations. The prices are really good for the quality of food and better than other restaurants that we’ve been to over the years. We would definitely recommend Carrig Glas for your special occasion or with family and friends for a good meal out. Thank you all, carry on the good work and thanks again.

I don't like to leave negative reviews so this one is a neutral one based on personal experience. Yours may differ. My wife and I went for a date night and yes it was a Friday but early. She had the steak and I had the hunters chicken. Her steak was cold and overcooked. I think they forgotten about it and it sat waiting for a food runner. It took forever to get the food and when it arrived it was not good. To put it into perspective we could of had three drinks before it arrived and then when we wanted to say something it also took forever for a server to come over unless we flagged someone down. The young guy when we told him looked like a deer in headlights. My meal was done but hers since it was cold and tuff we just didn't want it and thus sent if back with no worries to remake since I was done. The guy never came back nor did any one come to our table at all and we sat there for quite a while disappointed. No one came to ask us how was our meal or anything, nothing at all. We just got up paid the full bill and left to mark this place off as not again. Shame as we did like this place and did like the guy who greets ya but on this day he wasn't there. Our date night experience here was a little more than 2 hours and it was all waiting for the food then waiting for anyone. it wasn't like we were not in a non noticeable spot but by the front near the bar. I think they dropped the ball for food runners and or servers. They could of made good money on more drinks and or desserts buy asking how our meal was but no one came over to our table. I would have definitely ordered more drinks but was just disappointed and frustrated in the situation. We also sent a support email to the parent company website to help raise the bar but never heard back. Shame as it was a nice place.

We eat there about 3 times per month at about 1200 .It was nice and warm on a very wet day and quite busy. As usual the staff were bright and friendly, the service was prompt and the meal was excellent both in quality and taste. Great value at £20 for two.

I have eaten in Y Cerrig glad Pembroke dock for as long as it’s been open but this is my first visit this year (September 2024)and I must say what a disappointment it was . I ordered the mixed grill for my daughter and myself we both asked for medium rare stake, my daughters was rare and mine was well done the chicken was over cooked and dried out the eggs looked like they had been thrown on the top of it all not a good look . The back of the chairs are covered in dust it looked dirty , Plus I am a dog lover I have two dogs of my own so I can tolerate dogs in my company but the whole place seemed to be full of barking dogs you just couldn’t relax . It a lovely well dressed restaurant it’s such a shame to be like this . Sorry for the negative review but I say as I fine

Went for food with my partner, I had a mixed grill which was cooked to perfection, my partner had the cowboy burger which she really enjoyed. The waiters were all polite and accomadating.

Would highly recommend if visiting the local area and in search for high quality food with fantastic staff that aren't afraid to have a laugh and joke with you and ensure that your experience is upto a superb well presented standard. me and the family visited recently, and due to quite specific and restrictive dietary requirements can be quite awkward for us, we enquired with the staff and the manager personally came out and discussed with us substitutions the chefs can personally provide for us and all the different alternatives that are available at no inconvenience at all, for us this was going above and beyond in comparison to our usual dining experience Cleanliness was flawless and there was a well maintained outside area with a park to entertain the kids 10/10 will be visiting soon

Three of us visited and had an evening meal only. The mixed grill. Unfortunately, this was not a good meal the chicken was overcooked this might be a personal preference, but for our tastes it was definitely overcooked. We ordered the steak as rare as possible, however, it came out well done. The peas were also overcooked. The onion ring was soft, not crispy. Chips were chunky and were overcooked and had either been double cooked or cooked in really dirty oil. The eggs were the only thing well cooked. The ultimate southern-fried chicken burger. The fries were average. The southern fried chicken was overcooked, but not massively so. The hash browns were tasteless, but chunky and so soft they fell apart trying to eat them. The lettuce was going brown, so I didnt eat it. The bbq sauce in the burger was sweet, but nice. The gravy was poorly made (lumpy, oily and watery) and had a skin on top. The burger sauce was lovely, but also had a skin on top. The cheese was fine, but not much of it. The ultimate spicy beef burger. The only complaint was skin on the burger sauce. He loved it! As two chefs, we can only say the cook in the kitchen had timing issues, for the onion ring, sauces, lettuce and hash browns to be the way they were. At no point did anyone come to ask about how the food was or see if we needed anything. If they had, we would have said something then. The man that served us (I didn't get his name, but he was the only man working at the time) was great. Really helpful, very nice and yet professional. The building itself is lovely and quite well placed. Lots of parking, some for disabled and two electric charging points that I could see.

Excellent meal, went in as an option instead of going home far away to come all way back for takeaway later on at McDonalds and KFC. Purchased 3 of their burgers Cow oy, Classic Chicken and Special Southern BBQ as well as Beef Lasanga and Chips. Busy good atmosphere. Cannot fault the food at all for same price you pay for a meal at McDs the food was exactly as pictured and cooked fresh to our table. Cannot fault it was far superior to spending same cash at McDs and KFC. Defo be back

Hit and miss with any other food but burgers. Been back recently 2022 food is not great, burger was very disappointing, not 2 for 1 anymore. Service has gone downhill. Sad to say been back again 2024 service still non existent, had to wait awhile for food which is cheap, cheerful and won't be winning any awards for. If your not in any rush this is the place for you. Hopefully sometime soon they will get it right.

We come here for my mum birthday on the 23rd of August and we travelled all the way from Barry to come here and it was definitely worth the travel and definitely be back again. Excellent Quality food cooked to perfection👌 Fantastic service and very welcoming to us and dog friendly they all loved my daughter Roxy the beagle 🐾🐶👍🍺🍔🍟🍧🍰🍷🍽 Everything is up to high standards and really clean inside and outside it looks amazing 👌👍

What you'd expect from a chain restaurant. Staff work hard and are polite, food is consistently mundane and souless but at least you know what to expect. The prices are a little more than what you would be happy with. Ultimately you'll always feel like you could cook it better yourself. If you want a meal out and don't desire any more that the average chain restaurant experience the this place is just fine.

We went Christmas day, and the three course Christmas dinner, and the portion size were good but rost potatoes were not nice and the allegedly Christmas pudding was a current sponge so we were very disappointed with that. One of our party was to ill to attend so food was dished up to take home. We will look to eat out elsewhere on Christmas day 2024.

The first time we went there, we were greeted at the door and taken to a table, the place was clean. That was back in February /march 2022. Returned twice this summer, no greeting and no indication of whether to wait to be seated or take a table. Very different from the initial experience back in February. This time,, there was a long wait at the bar. Finally got served by a nonchalant member of staff. Had one drink and left. The next visit, we thought we'd give it another go. We wanted to get some food so we sat down at a table and realised it wasn't clean, very sticky with crumbs. We moved to another table and the menu was disgusting. The table was half clean and sticky. We decided to leave. If the tables were so dirty, we wondered how clean the kitchen would be And the staff were definitely not pleasant. Edited : we did go again and it was worse. After waiting over 40 minutes for a medium rare steak, and Hunters chicken, we were presented with cold overcooked meals. My steak was so bad I had to return it. They just took my plate and didn't come back. No apology... No offer to make up for it. We found the ferry Inn to be a lot better so we'll be going there from now on.

Today we went for a family dinner to end off a wonderful day, and were served by such a lovely bartender - Elena. She was honestly so sweet to us, what a lovely human being 🫶🏼

We had booked a table for 7.30. there seemed to be a problem as our table had been double booked. The bar person quickly sorted out a table that had just left, apologising for the problem. The restaurant was full with only the manager and bar person serving, taking orders and even bussing tables with the two youngsters working. You should be extremely proud of the way they worked, their professionalism and dedication to customer service. This was a family meal with my father and brother visiting. My brother and myself have over seven decades of knowledge and experience within the hospitality industry. It was easy to see how understaffed they were and the reason for the slower service. Someone who didn't work in the industry would have complained about the delays and service. However the very small team that was on worked tirelessly to provide the best customer service they could. With just four members running the front of house operations they did a fantastic job.

We came to the y cerrig glas as a family of 7, my son has additional needs and isn't the best sat indoors, we explained this upon arrival and the man who seen to us was so helpful with seating us outside and moving tables together, the gentleman behind the bar when serving was absolutely lovely, he was very polite and accommodating, the food came out altogether, not one complaint from us, it was lovely and well portioned even the childrens meals were a nice size, we will definitely be returning.

My allergen and intolerance list has expanded significantly recently. I cannot have several of the major allergens as well as some that are not often easy to find on ingredient lists. Tomasz (we think) was absolutely incredible tonight. When I listed most of what I can’t have, he admitted it would be tricky but also tried to find a solution. When we got to one, he even double checked the oil that was used to fry the chips in would be alright. He delivered my food to our large group himself. I cannot stress how helpful he was and how much I was able to eat because his help, and reassurance that it was not too much trouble, put me at ease.

Food was great, and service was great. It Was lunchtime so a little quiet, to be expected. I did have a pint of lager shandy it was half and half. Was charged over £6, the same as. A full pint of Peroni, when really I only had half a lager and lemonade. Soo I thought that was a bit steep.

Beautiful recently refurbished. Allows dogs in certain parts not all which was a bonus. Well priced. Food delicious. Staff are wonderful. Nice beer garden running around the pub with views of the estuary

Nice clean and tidy pub, Had a mega mixed grill which was ok,, nothing special plenty of it though. Service was slow to order just two staff serving and taking orders. Pretty much a standard chain pub, luckily i had a 30% off voucher, so that was fine, wont be rushing back.

Really appreciated this large pub in Pembroke Dock because, even in the middle of Summer it can be hard to find somewhere open, serving food and offering a full menu. All the food was of good standard, the service was quick enough on a busy day and there was a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend if visiting and want a typical, friendly large branded pub atmosphere.

Good quality tasty pub grub. Starter arrived promptly and as soon as we were finished the table was cleared and 5 minutes later the main meal was brought out. Leek and potato soup with warm buttered baguette followed by chicken and bacon salad. Good enough that I had the same order 2 days later.

Staff were lovely and polite however I ordered a medium rare steak and received a living cow. Steak came out practically blue with just a sear on the outside along with a huge portion of just gristle throughout Chips were stale, and everything the accompanied was cold.

The staff deserve a pay rise, they are the only good thing about this place. We ordered a few starters to share and the portions were a joke. £5.50 for a few fork fulls of mac and cheese?! I know it's a starter, but that's a joke. We left hungrier than we were when we arrived. The beer selection is awful. All those cask lines but only 1 beer on? For a Marstons pub that's ridiculous

Half the beer not on and what there was a selection of poor offerings and overpriced. Food was laughable, pre frozen deep fried nonsense and again overpriced for the amount you get. Service and staff were excellent though.

Went as there was an offer on. I will say it is frustrating that you cannot order and use a discount code online but have to go inside and order directly. The food was delivered quickly and was very pleasant and tasty. All round good experience, will certainly visit again

It was a lovely place to eat, though the staff weren't that loud when yelling orders to customers so more often than not we'd have to yell for the staff to eachother and they weren't understanding about the children's meals

Friday 12th July ————. Had a lovely meal today here, didn’t wait long for meal after ordering, staff were lovely and well mannered.
