Brother's House chinese in Pembrokeshire

Have always loved the food but for some reason the chips have been very spicy the last few times as in about 4 times more than normal, only other issue is the your lad on the desk will answer thr phone to take orders even in the middle of talking to you I find this very rude.

We have been living in wales for the last 7 years today was the first time we found a Chinese that reminds us of back home we deffo be coming back brilliant value for money food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Recommend anyone who is looking for a good affordable Chinese to try here.

Excellent food, good size portions, very quick delivery service, and very tasty. I would definitely recommend you order. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 as it was difficult to be understood on the phone to place the order, but we got there in the end. Don’t hesitate to, order your food, you won’t be disappointed.

Unable to even give an estimate for delivery time. Waiting almost 3 hours. When called to enquire it sounded as though they'd forgotten our order and was told I had to collect instead! If I had the means to collect then I wouldn't have asked for delivery

Ok but needed a serious dose of salt and pepper. The sweet and sour pork and fried rice were the nicest of the lot. The woman on the phone was great however and very helpful.

When you finally get through on the phone and have to reiterate your order multiple times to only arrive to then go through your order again and find out its still wrong it ain't bad

Ordered food 2 hours ago said it would be delivered in 45 minutes Rang after a hour and a half to ask where it is said they would be 20 minutes rang another 35 minutes later to be told they haven't started cooking it just waited 2 hours for nothing cheers for a nice night in

Waste of money. Phoned ahead to order to save waiting around. Arrived on time and had to wait a further 25 mins before I got it. Ordered two lemon chicken,s. What chicken? It was mostly batter, reminded us of pork crackling. Sauce was over powering. Nothing compared to ones we had else where. It was so bad we didn’t eat much of it and won’t be returning.

Positives: The chow mein is really delicious and so are the sweet and sour balls. Negatives: The lemon sauce could be improved

I’ve ordered from here as my favorite Chinese, portfeild just down the road and I was shocked to say the least. I ordered beef chowmein and the beef was like rubber the large chips I also ordered where soggy with no taste and the chicken balls with curry sauce where terrible and greasy and the curry sauce was lumpy

Very very nice food, and reasonably priced too, fed 6 of us with a mixture of food and cost just under £40, it also makes it much nicer and easier given you can order the night before. I'd like to suggest though that you should have to pay the whole bill or atleast half when you order just for the restaurants protection as there's people about that aren't all as trusting. I Picked up my order, 1 meal was missing, my mushroom curry! They delivered it for me and this is not the 1st time this has happened! I Went back the last time to pick it up myself , my Mushroom Chow mein was burnt you could smell it had been burned, mushrooms were burnt aswell, so could not eat it, was horrible ! Won't be using them again after this, very annoyed and very disappointed and the attitude from the cook is appalling, no care or apologies. Won't be using them again and will be telling friends and family about it, check your orders before you leave I urge you!!! Otherwise you will be having your dinner cold.

Delicious Chinese takeaway food

Terrible tonight ordered food wait an hour and 40mins! Dicided that I had better ring up and ask where the food was to be told it still hadn't left. They have upped their prices and think they can can hold food for that amount of time. It's a joke. Their prices have sky rocketed!! Very good customers to them in the past but now we use Peking house. Great prices and quick delivery!!!

Ordered Chinese for delivery, fabulous service from start to finish. Food arrived within the time specified piping hot considering we were a 15min drive away. Polite driver cash on delivery which for us was £10(this is arranged when ordering). All the food ordered was varied and you couldn't fault it for taste and quality.

Phoned order through gave post code as on campsite girl on phone was really pleasant and helpful. Food was amazing, delivery time precise and delivery guy a really happy and pleasant man. Again food was awesome, service amazing.

chicken chowmain was very juicy and chicken balls was cooked well very fast delivery but they were late so they gave it to me for free and the person on the phone was very kind, i would recommend this Chinese over any other especially peaking house in haverfordwest

On a visit with family just outside Haverford West, we decided a Friday night Chinese was just the thing we needed. Having never ordered from Brother's House before it was a bit of a gamble but we all went for dishes we knew, then hoped for the best and we weren't disappointed.Each item we had was delicious, well cooked and great portion sizes, all delivered to our door in 28 minutes. Can't ask for more.

Food was fair. All of the different dishes were watery & tasted greasy. My husband had chicken in very watery oyster sauce. I had a special curry which was greasy & left an unpleasant after taste. Lady serving was very pleasant. Not the best takeaway we have tried & we would not go back again.

Disappointed with several meals it appears they bulk out all their meals with cheap veg and very little meat not bothering to go back others are much better

i orderd barbecue spare ribs ..when i got home i had 4 dry ribs in a paper bag...not what i was expecting.very dissapointed...has this place changed hands..you used to get short ribs in a dish covered in barbecue sauce.

Lovely meal the service was quick so cant fault. There appears to he a new menu too with lots of new items I think there are new owners as it went down a bit in recent years but well worth a visit now.

We called in for a take away for a family meeting, the service was very quick despite the big order, and the food was great, good portion size, good quality and very tasty.

One of the best Chinese take away restaurants not only in Haverfordwest but also in West Wales. Receptionist girl is a Welsh girl who is friendly and informative. All other staffs are Chinese who are excellent at cooking. Their phone keeps ringing all the time (they seem to have lots of orders everyday). Dishes are absolutely delicious. Price is insanely cheap as well compared to the taste and presentation of dishes. Good hygiene is 5 star. This is one of my favourite spot for my dinner when I don’t have time to cook.

The trouble is, when busy the girl is automatically trained to tell everyone 30 minutes just to get your custom when really you have to wait at least an hour and a half for food. I wouldnt mind if they were just honest. Foods okay but poor review mainly because of the dishonesty behind the counter.

What a joke waited over a hour for a order nothing turned up to ring up the young girl didn't even ask my name just to ring back. The owner then said they wouldn't cook as there is a fault with the kitchen but didn't want to ring me and explain when asked when they would, got a reply stating over an hour when it would be fixed

Typical takeaway menu, Ok food, good quantity, short wait but let down by a clumsy attempt to shortchange me. I did not realise that £18 notes are legal tender at this establishment. The cashier needed to be convinced that he was given a £20 note. Thus was not an oversight but a deliberate attempt to shortchange.

Told 30-40 minutes when ordered. 1hour15 later food arrived. No flavour, watered down, greasy, chewy meat. Worse Chinese I’ve ever had. Like leftovers they were trying to get rid of. Won’t be ordering again.

Food good, but once again they underestimate the time it takes to get your order ready.The food is always consistent & we have never had a bad meal but it's very frustrating when your told you can collect your order in 30 minutes & when you arrive you end up sitting for an additional 25 minutes before the order is ready.

Visit here regularly for takeaways. Went to collect my order and the young lady seemed very moody and bored, not that it affected my food. Always serve piping hot food, very tasty, however sometimes chips are clearly re-heated.

Ordered food, was told it would cost £14 (including delivery) and would be delivered in half an hour. Was phoned back 5 minutes later with an extra £8.20 for delivery. The order was delivered an hour and 40 minutes later, with items of the order missing. Phoned to complain and asked for a refund or the missing items, with hesitation the brothers house finally manger finally agreed to deliver the missing items, which took another hour to be delieverd. However the delievery guy was apologetic with the situation.

We put our order in over an hour and a half ago. We're still waiting...wished we'd gone else where as keep being told it's just a few minutes.

Popped in here the other day on the off-chance. Great food, fast service. It must be popular as the phone never stopped ringing whilst I was in here. You get a lot for your money, and it is all good.

This is my current favorite Chinese.Beef in Black Bean Sauce and spicy salted chips are highly recommend 🙂

La elección es excelente y la comida siempre coherente. El personal era amable y te hacen sentir bienvenido. Un poco de frío como el calentador estaba roto mientras espera, pero yo no estaba allí el tiempo suficiente para ser demasiado preocupado. Fab take away. Went to pick food up from shop so didn't have any issues with delivery, however food wasn't ready until 10 minutes after the time we were told to collect. Ribs are great, all food was delicious.

Had a home delivery for two, telephoned order through no problems delivered within 45 min time that was stated delivery driver very pleasant and friendly food hot and tasty loads of it will return next time in Haverfordwest

Rang up like normal as a Chinese is a treat on a Sunday, young gentleman says one hour for delivery (18:10) re rang at 19:45 to be shouted at down the phone we got busy and forgot about you then to be told it'll be another 15 minutes

usually order for home delivery. they give total price after order has been taken and read back. delivery has to be one of the quickest in the county ...usually within 10-30 minutes. cant fault the service and friendliness of the staff.

Always good quality food at reasonable prices, and they never miss off dishes on big orders. The pancake rolls are particularly good.

Recently had a takeaway for four of us. It was first class, freshly cooked and hot. I do not hesitate to recommend this place as the best Chinese in Haverfordwest.

No entregar y cuando hemos tenido nuestra entregaron siempre llega caliente y a la vez que dicen cuando pedimos la reserva por teléfono.

The best Chinese in town, recommend ordering early on Saturday evening as it can get busy. All dishes are excellent.
