Worst chinese I've ever had all wasted what a joke

We ordered delivery on a rainy Saturday. The food was fairly unremarkable when it arrived but the delay in delivery was very disappointing. We were told 60-75minutes when ordering but food was almost 90 minutes later than that. But when we called for an update we were repeatedly told it would just be another 10minutes. Very disappointing service which resulted in a lot of wasted food - one of the calls was to amend the order because it was no longer possible for some of the party to eat but the 10minute lie put us off.

Sweet and sour chicken, batter burnt and chicken bone dry, egg fried rice tasted like cardboard. Worse Chinese food I’ve ever had. Clearly reheating food over and over. Unsuspecting tourists only thing keeping these in business. Avoid !

Got as far as the door and stopped dead. The outside is disgusting, filthy windows, door and window sills. Empty menu holders, rusty signage. I may be wrong but if venues can’t be bothered to clean the entrance and make it look attractive and inviting then it goes without saying they aren’t going to make much effort inside either. Peeped through and saw plastic stackable chairs and decided to eat elsewhere. There are plenty of other places to eat in Tenby

Never a good sign when waiting for your food and all you can hear is the constant sound of ping, ping and ping. You guessed it the microwave food was not even hot just Warm and tasted rank.

It’s cheap, delicious and has a large portion. It’s great. The two boys were very full for only 25 yuan.

The food is so good and cheap. Very typical Chinese dishes. Definitely recommend it!

Food was very bland. Ordered bbq spare ribs in sauce, sweet and sour chicken Cantonese and plain chow mein. Would not go there again.

Always visit here whenever I'm in Tenby - have never had a bad meal. During my last trip (May 2022) they were only doing takeaway so we did that instead of sitting in. Still worth it, hope they will be able to accommodate dine in again in the future.

We ordered a takeaway over the phone ,was told it would be 20 mins ,walked down there and in 20 mins it was ready as promised. It was hot and very tasty , reasonably priced and the staff were professional and polite ,very happy with our experience.

Worst meal ever. The roast Bean curd was deep fried leftovers. I had to squeeze the oil out. The chip's tasted days old and reheated as were the spring roll's. Will never return. Only eaten as my son would not of ate his and needed food in the hotel. In fact he could not finish it and a lot went in the bin.

We ordered the Chinese set dinner. The soup and spring rolls were good, but the main meals were awful and the fried rice was very dry and bland. The sweet and sour chicken was the weirdest we’ve ever had. It was not batter but chicken rolled in bread and then deep fried with a red gloopy sauce that you pour on? They are no longer open as a restaurant, just as a take away and it seems they have given up since covid. Avoid at all cost. Disappointing.

This business is a takeaway only now. It is a drab and miserable place to wait, zero consideration given to the customer. I suspect that once upon a time it was cared for and vibrant but that was before the owners forgot about customer service. Reasonable food, long wait time. I wouldn't recommend it and I will not go there again.

Very tasty, very quick, very good value, what's not to like. NB they are currently only open for takeaway, pick up or delivery.

I have been eating in this restaurant for over 30 years and always raved about the quality of the food but sadly I have noticed in the last couple of years the quality has gone right down hill I had Crab meat and seeetcorn soup which used to be packed with crabmeat now substituted with crab sticks plus very weak wishey washey crap Always have special curry but now the meats Seam like they are very poor quality processed crap such a shame used to be so good but trying to cut corners won’t be using this place again

Always made a large order £50 plus, food was absolutely Terrible, ribs were terrible, yet the lady who takes the orders and her son who delivers are fab, the food was terrible and won’t be going back for more sadly, I’ve eaten there for 30 yrs n it’s the worst food I’ve eaten

Absolutely stunning king prawn balls with king prawn chowmein..egg fried rice aswell. Great service and excellent food..cannot fault it at all. Beautiful restaurant and takeaway..❤💯❤

Closes at11...should close down..the whole meal looked odd, smelt odd, and tasted odd..chicken balls are a battered chicken bread chopped into slices..never seen anything like that before...surprised this dump is in tenby ...I'm giving this place a wide berth...🤑

The delivery was prompt and the chips ok but the chicken was as tough as old boots in all three meals so ended up in the bin. Really disappointed

We are just staying in Tenby for the weekend and decided to get a delivery tonight, I was initially put off by the reviews below but decided to give China Town a go. I cant fault the service and delivery and the food was superb. I would definitely order from them again

Thought we would get a nice meal as a takeaway as on holiday for a week in Tenby. I’m aware that there is a take on of different styles with a Chinese meal. Unfortunately the Aromatic Duck must have gone through a mincing machine as lots of bits of bones was included!(kind of puts you off) The meal was bland to say the least. And a lot was wasted. It was bad enough to join trip advisor to help others Enough said

So ended up having my chines for breakfast. Ordered it at 7:40 finally turned up at 9:55. Food basic had better won't be returning. Shocking service. Had to give 1 star as it won't let me give no stars

The chicken fried rice had a very bad taste, must of been cooked with old oil or some plastic fell in the wok, chow mein was bland and the crispy beef was ok. A poor meal, i hope they get there act together.

Nice little Chinese takeaway, portions are very large so be careful how much you order. Everything we had was well presented, hot, edible and tasted good. Would certainly go there again for takeaway.

Good quality food cooked fairly quickly.

Three if us had special curry. I reckon we had a small quantity of beef between us which was as tough as old boots. The prawns were almost absent from all three dishes. The curry sauce was thin and completely tasteless. The chips were diabolical, so very very dry . We intend to return to lovely Tenby but will never use this takeaway again. Quite frankly, it's the worst we've ever had.

Fancied a Chinese while on holiday in Tenby as no restaurants available. I’ve had a few bad Chinese meals in my time but this was the worst and most expensive ever. The only decent thing was the duck pancakes, every other dish tasted the same, bland and tasteless. If I did live in Tenby I would be looking for another takeaway.

Just an awful delivered meal all round. Everything was dry and tasteless. Meal came with no chips that we had ordered. Sweet and sour chicken balls were dry and the sauce was like watered down vinegar. Order a starter for £7.50 one small piece of seasame toast a dry pancake roll and 3 dry bbq ribs with no meat on them, The best part of it was the crispy seaweed, Then came a breast of chicken which was so dried up there was nothing left of it. A handful of peas with no chips. This was one meal for a man. We all looked at each other in disbelief that they could get one order so wrong and very poor. Then to add to the quality the price came in at £51 can’t really believe that we paid this for what we had. Never ever again

Very pleased with the quality and portions of food, we got the half/half (rice, chips, chicken balls and sauce), we didn't expect the trays to be so big. Quick service, we got it to takeaway. Very impressed with accommodation of the staff and the measures taken to prevent the spread of Covid19.

Only operating as a takeaway due to Covid-19, but we really enjoyed the food. I wanted Singapore Chow Mein with mixed meat but it was on the vegetarian menu. However they were happy to put mixed meat in it and only charged a little extra. Portion size was good too. Only slight negative was had to wait in the takeaway as they were running late with orders.

We ordered ribs, duck pancakes followed by S&S chicken, satay, chow mien, veg black bean, chilli beef and special fried rice. Delivery very punctual. Only dish that was slightly disappointing was beef chow main which was a bit bland but generally very good and missing a portion of chilli chips which were excellent.

Whoever was working Saturday night (12/9/20) you were so patient and amazing dealing with me ordering with bad phone signal! Thank you so much!

Good food and reasonably priced. Service awful. Need more front of house people. I would advise people to order food by telephone and then pick up or go there and order and pay and then go shopping and return in a half hour or so.

All 5 of us disliked our meals. No meat on the ribs - just bone, curry tasteless and watery, chicken 'balls', kung po & chow mein all left. Not recommended at all.

Salt and Pepper Ribs are just bones covered in a salty peppery batter (I think )that bad cant definately say what the cover over the bones is. 5 meals not one of us were happy or even mildly satisfied. I hope this helps when you are looking for a takeaway I would say avoid

We had an initial order that we collected from China Town which was that good we decided to treat ourselves again. Brilliant service and you could order for a pre arranged time which was ready to go both times Service you couldn’t fault. The food was delicious and the Sweet and Sour Chicken balls were a huge meal especially with egg fried rice. Other great options were Crispy Beef and Sweet and Sour Cantonese style chicken. A shame I don’t live here and am only visiting.

We had food from here after reading reviews and my word, it was good. We decided what we wanted from their online menu and then went to pick it up. I wasn’t sure about one or two things on the menu but the lady who took the order was most helpful. My husband had beef with peppers and I had sweet and sour sticky beef and we both had egg fried rice. The portions were generous and although we both thoroughly enjoyed the meals we couldn’t finish them. They were so tasty and freshly prepared - the next time we’re in Tenby, we’ll be visiting again.

Wether it be takeaway or sit down. This chinese is always first class! Deliveries are always piping hot and quick! The delivery driver is fantastic, always pleasant and chirpy, no matter if its sunny or tipping down with rain!The sit down is great quality, we have eaten fromthe lunchtime menu which is fantastic value for money and the evening menu on many occasions.The food is great quality, and always very tasty. Not much on the menu we haven't tasted! Would certainly recomment this place, if you are a holiday maker they deliver to most caravan sites too, which is a bonus !! Love this place!

My husband and I had a take away from this restaurant and oh my goodness, the food was hot, fresh and very tasty. I had a starter of Bbq spare ribs and a main consisting of classic crispy beef in a Peking sauce and egg fried rice. My husband had chicken and sweetcorn soup and pancake rolls to start and the same as me for main. The prices are reasonable and in line with what we pay at home. I would recommend this restaurant and hope to return again soon.

Ok if you dont ask for anything changing in the menu, chicken was chewy too, staff more friendly on the way out than when your in, place wasnt very warm either, warning wear your coat

Ordered a delivery of chicken fried rice, a chicken chow mein with no veg and a can of coke. Not exactly a difficult order to get right. They delivered the chow mein with veg, which no one in the house will eat and at £6, for the chow mein alone, is certainly not the cheapest. Phoned up and informed them of the mix up. We had no offer of a refund or a replacement meal. The service is an absolute disgrace. Don't order from here.

Hi well we came back to Tenby again and the 1st night we went back to Chinatown.lower frog street.i really like it here the food is lovely the price is very good you will fill your belly for sure we will definitely be back I like the old world china surroundings the staff are nice helpful the food is good give it a try.you won’t be sorry.the negative comments are unjust for this restaurant...thanks to all the staff we will see you again...

We called in here and asked if they deliver they confirmed that they did. We were staying on a caravan park nearby. We phoned our order in and they said it would be 30-40 minutes. No problem an hour later we phoned they said it was on it’s way another hour passed so we phoned again and again they said it was on it’s way. We waited another half hour and couldn’t wait any longer so we had to go get a pizza. The meals never arrived. Fortunately we opted to pay on delivery. We were offered to pay by card over the phone glad we didn’t. The staff were not helpful at all and got the impression they didn’t care. Not a nice experience. I’m sure the food is good but never got the chance to taste it. Don’t recommend for take away.

My husband had booked the Greek Mykonos but as we had time we walked around and came across China Town , I went in and asked if they had a table . They did so we decided to have Chinese instead . Well it was the best decision as we really enjoyed our meal . As we couldn’t eat the meat because it wasn’t Halal we opted to have prawns dishes instead plus the kids love king prawns . None of the dishes that came skimped on the amount of prawns there were plenty and the other thing I’m quite particular about when eating prawns is looking out for the black poo line . I was so pleased to see that every prawns I checked had been clean properly . They were quite busy so we had to wait a little while before our food came which was fine as the food was worth the wait . Waitress were nice enough and our overall experience was great. Decor wasn’t all that but it was clean and we weren’t cramped on a table , we had a big round table for 7 people given to us . I’d eat there if I went to Tenby again.

I have never been inside this place but I do use them for deliveries. Sometimes they send food that is not so good, other times they send wonderful food.

Called in after having a few beers, my husband and I had chicken curry chicken fried rice extra mushrooms and onions and spring rolls, portions very big size and delicious .Excellent service would recommend this to any one .

Went here last Saturday (it was my birthday) with hubby and kids. Staff welcoming, but could do with being more cheerful, they seem very glum, my first impression, could do with a spruce up, and defiantly new carpet. We ordered our food, kids and hubby came pretty quick but mine had been given to the wrong table so I had to wait longer ☹️ lovely when it did arrive. Sadly no gin on sale here so ordered Prosecco (only had a large bottle £18.00) I couldn’t drink it all and sadly the cork wouldn’t fit back in the bottle so we gave it to a couple sitting opposite us. Toilets were awful again they really need a interior. Considering Tenby is a gorjus town and full of holiday makers I really think it needs a makeover. Overall kids loved their chicken charmaine and wolfed it down, happy kids=happy parents

The Chow Mein and Sweet&Sour we had were both pretty lacking in flavour, a lot of the core mein was pretty much just dry noodles. Otherwise it was ok.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal for the two of us, had a few beers in town then this fitted the bill! Good service, take away food but at a table, crispy beef was lovely as all the food we ordered. Would recommend, very reasonably priced too!!

Very dark interior, one waitress was lovely whereas the other was not friendly at all. We ordered Kung Po chicken with noodles, when it arrived the chicken was tasteless and the noodles weren’t cooked. Beef curry was nice as well as the chicken curry. Was slightly overpriced too. Will not be rushing back anytime soon.

Nice Cantonese restaurant, food is what you would expect and staff are very friendly. It was my daughters first Chinese and she loved it.

Mouth watering food try it you won't regret it you'll be back again 😆
