Really disappointing takeaway, aromatic duck was tasteless, salt and pepper ribs rated hot had no spice at all and the duck chow mein had virtually no duck and no taste. Won't be using it again.

Good takeaway. Patient over the phone, always prompt service - food ready in 15mins. Large portions for good value. Huge amount of choice on their menu and everything is delicious.

We were staying at our holiday lodge on Littlehaven retreat they delivered to us food was great still hot highly recommend.

Wot a shame working all day decided to have meal from Peking house very disappointed duck was over cooked and very dry chips undercooked most ended up in the bin sorry will not use again

We normally order from the Dragon Palace but they were shut, went with this option. Big mistake. The duck was the worst peking duck we have ever had, the hoisin sauce tasted cheap and soapy, the chow mein smelt of old fat. We were really hungry but couldn't eat it.

We placed an order at 7.30pm. We were advised delivery would be 45 minutes to an hour. At 8.50pm our order still hadn’t arrived so I phoned to check where it was and it arrived 10 minutes later. It arrived minus 2 meals. I phoned again. Bobi was helpful but the lady in charge refused to discuss the matter with me. We were offered a free bag of prawn crackers next time we order. As if we will be ordering from this Chinese again! Extremely poor service and even worse customer relations. The delivery driver has an attitude and was extremely rude also. We will not be using this Chinese again and do not recommend.

Some of the reviews seem to suggest this Chinese Takeaway is a restaurant, it is not! It is a very good takeaway which delivers aswell. We phoned our order in and agreed a time to collect. Our food was ready within 2/3 minutes of us arriving. Portion size was generous and we probably over ordered so our meal lasted for two days. The mixed starter, salt ribs, lemon chicken and house fried rice were all excellent. The mixed meat sweet and sour balls were a bit disappointing because the batter on the balls was to thick and was more like an uncooked dough.

Appalling Over cooked Ordered fillet steak Um even a steak knife would not cut it. Over priced , if you sit behind a screen, Please get off your phone Disrespect Would I call again Unfortunately No

Order a Chinese from this place regularly and I recommend this place at a family gathering to which we had spent £100, for our order to have been misunderstood wrongly however when we had rang and asked them to send the missing item, the delivery guy which was actually the owner insisted on charging us including the delivery charge when coming to the property and used the foul language at the door. Completely unacceptable and very disappointing considering how highly I have previously rated the place.

Rang at 6.30pm to order Chinese for delivery. 8.30 I rang and cancelled as it still hadn’t been delivered after 3 calls to the shop and 3 times being told wrongly that it was on its way!! Lad on phone wasn’t even bothered!! Delivery driver showed up at 8.40 and was very apologetic. Told her I’d cancelled as I’d waited for 2 hours!! She was mortified saying she couldn’t understand why, as they had 3 drivers working and deliveries wasn’t that busy!! I apologised to driver, she rang shop to ask what they wanted to do about this and took the food back!! Won’t be using this Chinese again!!!

The food is AMAZING!!! We wouldnt use any other Chinese restaurant. Its by far the best, by taste,choice and overall service. Cant recommend highly enough. SO SUPER DELICIOUS!!

Honestly disgusting, ordered a takeaway received 1 hour late cold and wrong order, called back to let them know it was cold and wrong, guy on the phone was so rude no help so we brought all the food back, got 50% refund, AFTER RETURNING ALL THE FOOD a woman came out screaming at me and my sister because we asked for our money back and the woman ended up throwing her own leaflets at us screaming at her son to call the police, it was honestly a disgusting experience and we will NEVER be returning. Not only should food hygiene be called but so should social services as the woman was screaming and throwing stuff at me and my sister in front of 2 of her small children!

Me and my family ordered from here tonight and the chips was hard and cold ,we also ordered curry sauce and the people who had curry sauce ended up with a really bad belly which ended up with them being sick, would definitely not recommend.

Rice was soggy after being saturated in an unknown juice that was not advertised. All thrown in together in a small tray when a large was ordered/ advertised. Tasted like **** as well 👍🏼

Ordered over the phone and when the order arrived we had the wrong order. I called up to ask for the meal I originally ordered to which the very rude young female on the phone told me I confirmed the order after she read it back, which she never did. She ended up shouting down the phone and getting very angry. I could hear her complaining about me to members of staff when she put the phone down. Never had bad service from Peking House before but due to this one member of staff tonight I will not be returning and will be telling other people to avoid as well. Definitely need new staff if they lie and treat customers this way!!!!

Ordered a takeaway from last night, three of us who had the food had numbness to the mouth and face (for 10 hours following), as well as one having a bad stomach. Others we were with who did not eat from there did not have these symptoms and symptoms started 20 mins after eating. I called this evening to speak about our concerns. The woman who answered the phone was very dismissive, saying “well what do you want me to do about it”, leaving long pauses in the conversation making it uncomfortable. She did not seem to be even listening let alone responding to our concerns in a professional way. She said we had not ordered the food as she had not delivered it, despite staff saying we definitely had, overheard manager saying we had ordered it. She asked what we had, said the only thing in common was spring rolls but she said we had not ordered spring rolls, again had to tell her they were put in for free, she said this was not the case, but the manager again said it was. She did not apologise despite making out that I was lying. She said we should have rang at anytime despite the opening hours. Her attitude was awful. She spoke to the manager in the background who I heard him mention a refund but she did not relay this back. I ended the call saying that I would not be ordering from them again due to how I had been spoken to by them alongside the symptoms we had, (despite having ordered there many times before) and was told “that’s fine, there we are”. Would not order from them again and it is clear that they did not care whether they had our custom or not. AVOID!!!

Food was very nice and enjoyed all of it but the noodles turned up in a foam box not a plastic box to keep it warm and store it if I didn't finish it and the sauce pots had leaked everywhere so got rather messy but the food over all was excellent and well cooked got some spring rolls with it :) and was delivered very quickly overall very happy would deffo order again if I ever come back to Wales thanks guys good job

Ordered £35 of food this evening including a seafood rice dish with curry sauce. We live several miles away and when we got home with the food the curry sauce was missing. It was too far to travel back so we shared the other food we had and didn't eat the rice as it was too dry on its own. I called the Takeaway and asked for a refund of both dishes. The desk staff member was helpful and polite and communicated with the owners who refused to refund and only offered an extra curry sauce next time we ordered. So we are around £7 out of pocket and one disappointed customer feeling frustrated with the poor decision made by the owners. This has happened before but has been a less important dish, ie. chips so I've never needed to complain. Won't be going back there that is for sure.

We ordered a takeaway and the food was diabolical, most of it was inedible especially the egg fried rice which just looked like a brown mess, we ended up throwing most of the meal in the bin, definitely won’t be returning!!

I happened to be in Haverfordwest and feeling hungry went into the Peking House. I was served by a very gruff man but in no way could I complain about the food. In fact I over-ordered as I did not realise that you got so much for your money. They charged me about 60% of what I would pay for the same elsewhere. Can't be critical.

Have used Peking house on several occasions and never had any problems. Unfortuntly the last takeaway we ordered wasn't so good. We were told 1 hour for delivery, after an hour and a half we rang to be told it was 5 minutes away. Two and a half hours later it finally arrived, we live 5 minutes away from Peking house! I would rather they were honest about delivery times so we could of decided if we wanted to wait or not. No money off was offered or even an apology by Peking house. Will no longer use them in the future.

Ok takeaway at a reasonable price. Basic chinese takeaway but nothing special on the menu. So wish Harfat had a Chinese serving genuine Cantonese cuisine; would be there regularly if they did.

We tried this very good. Good pleasant phone manner, food was in time zone. It was lovely, nice portions. Very good service, recommend it. If you have a meal deal they are worth it. I like them it's always popular and lovely people.

I've lived in Haverfordwest my whole life and I've never ordered from Peking House before tonight, I did so based on the good online reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The delivery time was fast and the food arrived hot. The dishes I ordered where packed with good quality fresh ingredients, it was by far the best Chinese I've ever had! The food was brilliant and the menu is very reasonably priced, i will definitely be a returning customer.

Used to use often until the food hygiene rating was so low I stopped ordering. But as there rating had increased I thought I would try it again. We called at 9.03pm and were told 50 minutes to 1 hour delivery, we called at 10.05pm to complain and request they give discount and they had the nerve to offer £2 off!! and were told it was on its way, and were promised it would arrive before 10.30. At 10.32 we called and said we no longer wanted it. At 10.44pm it arrived regardless and they wanted more than half the price still! We said we would pay half £20 (Even though we had just spent money on pizzas and it would likely all be cold) so they refused and took it back - I dread to think what they will do with it. I will never use again!!!

Pedimos una comida para llevar entrega desde aquí anoche. Llamé para preguntar si en realidad la entrega en donde estoy, a 15 millas de Haverfordwest. La señorita que me contesto no podría entender originalmente una palabra de lo que estaba diciendo y tuvo muchos problemas con el codigo postal, pero impresionantemente 5 minutos después un caballero me llamaron de nuevo. Pregunté por el servicio de entrega (pesadilla intentar conseguir algo entregado a aquí!) y me quedé sorprendido cuando él dijo que sí! Obviamente coste extra, pero estaba totalmente convencida de que y estaba feliz de pagar alrededor de £7 gastos de envío. Una orden bastante grande, 7 platos (yo soy codicioso) y llegó a la hora! Uno de los platos no carecen de sabor, pero este puede ser un (que en otros lugares, así que no hay problema). El resto eran excelentes y muy generosas porciones. La única razón por la que no pongo 5* es debido a la forma de teléfono. Estoy de acuerdo con algunos de los otros comentarios, no parece demasiado molesto si la orden o no y no son muy educados. Otro teléfono estaba sonando mientras yo estaba haciendo mi pedido y el chico mantenía animado de ida y vuelta entre las conversaciones! Aparte de que estoy muy satisfecho y sin duda la orden de nuevo! Ellos son la única comida para llevar china que le entregará a aquí y muchos están más cerca! Sin duda estos chicos su pedido si estás en la zona, o incluso si no estás, te enviaremos!!

He visto esta pequeña para llevar por unos pocos años pero nunca nos aventuramos por dentro. Un amigo me dijo que era excelente, así que una noche pedimos una comida para llevar. El tamaño y la calidad era increíble, tuvimos un plato extra gratis, aunque no tuvimos pasar lo suficiente. Hemos estado aquí dos veces y espero poder llamar otra vez.

Peking House es nuestro favorito chino, última noche cuando fui a pedir su máquina de tarjeta no funcionaba pero debido a que son buenos clientes nos dejaron la comida sin pago. Sé que no vas a encontrar un bajo flit pero no hay muchos lugares que haría. Gracias Peking House y, por supuesto, era delicioso, como normal.

Best Chinese I've had in town portion size is great and good value. I have found when I phone for an order there telephone communication skills need sorting don't take much to say thank you for your order , hoping one day this will change and all will be great

Really tasty Chinese portion size is great and prices are good, only problem I find personally is when phoning the people are quite rude no thank you or bye it's straight to the point

My friends and I paid for a take away meal that was expensive and not tasty. The food was all coated in a slimy gravy that was stodgy and gloopy as it cooled. It tasted very bland and left us all feeling a bit queezy after. Avoid unless you are starving!

one of the best Chinese take-away we've had on holiday or in fact ever. After 2 months I can still remember the taste of the chicken.....absolutely great. thank you. the staff were happy, helpful and generous. looking forward to next year
