Excellent fish and chips. Great to be able to get one gluten free fish and chips - even took care to ask if coeliac so gave confidence. Also great cakes!

Burger was absolutely banging! Generous portion size and the chips were spot on too. Lovely cosy pub and nice vibe. Friendly staff as well! Lovely beer garden out back. Defo recommend :)
This is review for the Restaurant....Husbands family retirement dinner after last day in work...we looked at a few restaurants in area and after reading other reviews we decided on Plas Hyfyd in the end....and so glad we did...they went just that bit further to make dining with them a good experience...lovely ambience....relaxing....we had 3 courses and each one was presented beautifully and so tasty.....we really enjoyed our meal and will defo be back..in fact we booked for mother's day ...looking forward....
For years this had been one of our favourite cafes in Tenby. Good service, friendly cheerful staff, lovely food and a welcoming atmosphere. However, this has all changed. We visited in December and were directed to a table. 35 minutes later we decided to leave as we hadn’t been even offered a drink. Maybe a blip, We decided to return in February. Again we were only served after 25 minutes and a quarter of an hour later our food arrived delivered by a dour faced waitress. My order of cauliflower soup sounded really tasty but it was inedible. It was really bitter and little other flavour than watered cumin. We explained the problem to a member of staff who asked if I would like something else to eat. I declined. I would have given a one star rating but my wife enjoyed her meal and although there was no apology, they said they would not charge for mine or my wife’s meal. Needles to say, we will not be returning, which is a shame because this used to be a lovely little cafe.
Booked a Sunday lunch out for family...although we frequently visit The Bar we had never tried their Sunday Dinners.
As soon as we walked in we had a lovely welcome from Liam and his team.
Our orders were taken straight away and within 5 minutes our drinks and food were on the table.
Very generous portions, I've never been out to Sunday dinner anywhere that had the choice of seasonal vegetables we had. Everything was cooked to perfection. Very much tasted like home cooking. Fresh and delicious.
We had no room or need for a pudding!
With that view, a lovely relaxed friendly atmosphere and decent prices you can't go wrong. Highly recommend.
Thank you Liam, we will be returning !
Sunday Lunch was absolutely delicious. I cannot fault any of the.food. I have.even sent an email for.a.recipe. The.service.was.lovely and the.staff were assertive and very kind. The most enjoyable afternoon by far.

Had the best spa experience today. We had the x2 half day heywood package- top to toe massage package option and a reflexology and reiki option. Absolutely outstanding. True holistic therapists bringing the best to a spa experience. Completely relaxed, rejuvenated and recharged. Thank you so much, we will be back!
We stayed overnight following a ferry crossing. The ferry was delayed and they made sure we still could access the room.
The room was spacious, but it was £180 for 2 adults and a child. There were huge cobwebs on the window, and only toiletries left for 2 people not 3.
Breakfast was really disappointing unfortunately. Dirty plates, poor choice or cereal, no yoghurts, fruit or juice to help yourself to, everything was apparently behind the bar and you were only told that when you asked. The cooked breakfast was really greasy and the sausages were cheap and horrid, I couldn’t eat them.
Nice staff but totally overpriced for what was on offer!
Lovely venue in the Refectory at St David’s Cathedral with very welcoming staff. Dog friendly too, they even offer free dog treats! The full breakfast was delicious even including a yummy MamGu cheese and leek Welsh cake 🙂. Great value.
Lovely seafront cafe, excellent service, very dog friendly ( our 2 pups loved the little pot of chopped up sausages!) And the best fish and chips I've ever tasted! 😋
Lovely pub, staff very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, the staff were knowledgeable about the offers, met with my sisters for lunch, thoroughly enjoyed, great atmosphere clean and tidy, lovely beer garden although it was raining so we didn’t use, would definitely visit again and would highly recommend 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟
We purchased a voucher for Afternoon Tea for my mum for Christmas and were very much looking forward to going.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the surroundings are stunning. While the afternoon tea itself was fine, and the sandwiches were particularly good, the whole experience was very underwhelming. We were not offered any further tea or coffee after the original order was taken for our afternoon tea and we then decided we would like to enjoy a drink in the lounge afterwards. However, despite being given a menu, nobody came to take our order for 20 minutes, by which time we decided it was best for us to forget it and head back to Narberth.
It is a real shame that such a stunning location was let down by truly lacklustre service.
Great service, naans were nice and fluffy and cooked well.
My youngest 15yo had a Pathia that she was pre-warned would be hot, but polished it off without noticing anything spicy.
I had a balti, it was tasty and the meat was cooked very well, but came away feeling that it was lacking in intensity of spices.
My older daughter and son had a Korma and a Tika, both tasted sickly sweet, my son found the tika chicken to taste great on its own; both unfortunately left most of the sauce as the sweetening was just too much.
2 of the guests were celiac so could not eat the breads; would have been really great if they could offer GF breads as the flour is now available.
I’m guessing that the dishes are adjusted to accommodate the local palate, so if you’re used to a more authentic flavour ask if they could make it a bit more spicy? If you don’t like sweet curries confirm which ones are like this and avoid.
Above all it was a nice dining experience.
Quite disappointing to be fair considering the price of the food £99.50 for dry pork chop sorry on the bone lol maccies chips we were here last year the food was lush not anything like tonight service was not good they could wait to get us out after our mains they were getting their coats and bags as we were paying for our meals never again
Great little cafe right on the beach. We had an ice cream or 5! Really nice. Coffee was a welcome warmer on the cold windy day that it was. The owners were very friendly.
