Decent food but chaotic service seemingly ill equipped to accommodate 2 parties of 9 and 11 diners confusingly with the same surname. Spoilt an otherwise good family evening.

on our escape from tenby (completely overcrowded with thousands of people because of some festival) we ended up here by chance and were the last to order dinner. We were lucky, because it was one of the best dinners of our whole holiday in wales. flatbread, bbq-chicken, fish, everything was perfect and delicious!!! the castle inn has a nice beer garden and the pub inside is also very nice. nice choice of beers!! the girls & guys who run the pub are a pretty cool young bunch but very professional and superfriendly,. thanks and we hope to be guests again soon.

Had a horrendous stay here. Poor service, shared bathroom. Kettle in room but no cups. No bin in room. Last decorated in the 80s. Checked in with my partner "Oh sorry we have you in a double room" - yeh... it's 2024, we're gay, no need to question us on check-in. Really noisy downstairs in the pub when we were trying to sleep. The chairs scraping and doors banging early Sunday morning. Grim. Avoid as somewhere to stay.

This place was recommended to us. First of all it's DOG FRIENDLY inside and outside. Parking is limited so you have to park anywhere in the village. It is a small pub and a lot of people would walk straight back out. This is a local pub with no frills and not fancy. My drink was a very nice pint, a well maintained cellar. The food was excellent I had the fire bowl very tasty. My partner had Korean flatbed, WOW it was massive again very tasty. 10 out of 10 for the food. It is best if you book because at least five family's was turned away. Forgot to say good price.

This pub has such a nice atmosphere, it's cosy in the pub, and it has such a beautiful beer garden so rain or shine it has the best. I had some the bbq pulled pork and it was some of the nicest food I've had from a pub. All of the food we got was to die for, and they have its own little pizza parlour! And to top it off its right next to manorbier beach which has some of the most beautiful cliffs and even a castle right on the beach!

We ate here a few times during our visit to Manorbier last week. The pub itself is a quaint, cosy coastal village pub. Full of character with lots of little snugs. If you're looking for a big open plan dining room, you won't find it here and I loved that. The food is excellent, not typical pub food. They serve a few traditional dishes and some flat breads loaded with either mexican chicken, pulled pork or Korean toppings. I had the Korean flatbread and it was delicious. It takes a while for the food to come out but it's worth the wait. If you want to eat at 7 I'd arrive at 6, get some drinks, put your food order in and just relax and enjoy your drinks. Portions are big, especially the chicken starter. It will easily feed two. We wouldn't hesitate going back to the Castle Inn next time we're in Manobier

The Castle Inn public house in Manobier is a very nice pub. It has a very warm feeling/nice atmosphere/ decent food menu (Not amazing) The Beer garden is quite nice. The main issues with this pub is its staff. It’s run by kids with no idea whatsoever of customer service/very little hospitality experience. Having visited the pub x2 over 2 nights (only because there is no local competition) there were issues on both nights. 1st night ordered food (no cutlery or condiments turned up) then spent 5 minutes at the bar queuing to get this rectified while the food went cold. 2nd night. Turned up for a drink. Sat at a table that was not reserved for later guests. Was here for 45 mins only to be told it was then booked for later guests. Good job we did not want to eat thinking we had a table. Essentially it a nice pub run by inexperienced/unprofessional staff. Then again it maintains the landlords profits no doubt on their P&L.

We can say though that the two young personnel that were serving on the bar did one of the most magnificent jobs serving I've seen in 20 years. stayed the weekend in the keep room at the castle inn, really nice place, good drinks great food, very helpful staff, great atmosphere, brilliant entertainment from the live band Saturday night, would highly recommend anyone to stay there or visit for a drink and try their food, the chips are too die for (100% never change how they're cooked🤤) 1 recommendation I would make to the owners is to maybe put a coat hook on the back of the main entrance door to the keep room to hang a coat over the small window on the main door or a little curtain to draw across the door window, work around we hooked a coat hanger on the door frame to cover that small window, other than that the place was immaculate and lovely would definitely be looking to go back, absolutely A1+, can't recommend it enough 😁😁😁😁 gutted to have to go back to normal life.

A must try on food! I'm quite fussy but their chips are THE BEST pub chips, which are home made. Also the Kahoona burger is absolutely fantastic! Again home made with really nice ingredients. Quirky mismatching decor in the pub which really give it character. Not a massive pub, but a nice vibe about it. Dog friendly. Friendly staff member answered the phone when I rang one evening and said we were a half hour away drive back to our local accommodation next to the pub and I asked if we could order our meals over the phone, so we didn't miss out on the food cut off time. They were fine with this and saved the day on our evening meal! A couple of small rooms at the front, slightly distanced from the main area, making for a cosy pub feel. Live music on some Friday nights.

We were really looking forward to our meal at The Castle Inn for my husbands birthday but unfortunately were really disappointed!! We booked a table in advance as we were told they start serving food from 6pm and can get quite busy. On arrival the staff were abrupt, pointing us to the direction of our table in a back room, there were no numbers on the tables so we were not aware that we were sat on the incorrect table. We began eating our food when a very rude member of staff came over and told us we needed to move, a large family then proceeded to stand over us whilst we moved our food over to the table we were suppose to have been sitting on. The family we were next to were extremely loud and we were basically sat on top of them, personally I wouldn’t sit a couple next to a large party in a small back room that was barely sufficient for two tables let alone four!!! We just finished our food before having to leave, we left feeling really upset and disappointed by the service we had received. The staff definitely let this pub down, we will not be returning or recommending this to anyone else!! 0 stars if we could…

Be aware pub doesn't open until 4 pm. We travelled from Pembroke to Manorbier to see the castle and enjoy a lunch. After finally being able to pay for parking in the car park ( that is a story in itself ) we ventured up the hill towards the pub. Imagine our surprise to find it closed at 1:50! Their opening times aren't advertised so I could well believe we weren't the only hungry tourists that had to find lunch elsewhere. This could only happen in Britain.

Visited on numerous occasions. Lovely quaint pub, food is amazing everytime.. everything is good on the menu... but more staff is needed on at busy times. Also can get very crowded inside when queuing at the bar maybe table service at busy times. The garden area on the top also lets it down, if it's been raining can get really muddy, some attention is needed to the area. A marquee/tepee would be great addition for outside then everyone could sit out in all weather. If these points were addressd It would be then the best pub to visit in West Wales!

The most amazing food from starters right through to dessert! We visited this restaurant yesterday and ohh my god what amazing food! The service was Excellent, the environment cosy and everything served in a reasonable time too! As this is upstairs it also overlooks the marina which makes for elegant views! Unfortunatley due to the rain we weren’t able to sit outside but I will definitely be back to taste more! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! 5 *

Traditional, characterful pub owned and run by a decent man. Good local customers and selection of drinks. No food but if you want a welcome where you dont have to feel like a holidaymaker, this place is for you.

Great pub. Fantastic beers, staff and patrons. Try the faggots - very tasty.

Service was prompt and efficient. Food was reasonably priced. Menu was average.
