Having booked the previous night we turned up at our alloted time and were shown to our seats straight away. Within 5 minutes we had our drinks and had ordered food. When the food did come it was plentiful and tasty. I had the Pembrokeshire Pirate burger and my other half had the carbonara. Unfortunately as my eyes are bigger than my belly I finished the meal off with the strawberry shortbread sundae! Nearly a bit of an error! The bill was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I didn't get the waiters name but he was very efficient and courteous. I would recommend the BoatHouse.

The food here is fantastic I cannot fault it...BUT be careful when ordering your food. I went for lunch with a group of friends and I ordered tempura prawns off the light bites menu and opted for a side of onion rings. I also had a cocktail. When it came to payment my meal was more than anticipated (I paid seperate from my group at the till so did not see a recipt) after speaking to my friends who had also paid separately and some having larger meals than me it confirmed that I had over paid by around £10. I went back inside to confirm this with the waitress who agreed and found my meal had accidentally been charged at a full meal price. She had to get approval from the manager for a refund. When bought up the person who put my order through said he charged it as a main meal as it came with salad ( if you read the menu it states light bites are prawns with salad) the waitress dealing with my issue did agree with me on this. The main meals state they come with chips. The manager came over and then said that the food had been eaten so there was nothing they could do. But my food came as expected so I had no idea that this was going to be an issue. After a few minutes of them talking over me and not listening to my problem( i wanted to point it out so that it doesn't happen again. )I just left. I did not want to cause a scene and just wanted to enjoy my time with friends. It's a shame the food was lovely and the restaurant was very nice but I'd be put off going again.

Out of this world! The food was so delicious and filling. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Great atmosphere, and also very busy when live music is on. Starter, main and dessert was sensational. 100% recommend x

Again !!! "Waited " to be seated , walked past on numerous occasions by 2 miserable members of staff, only a handful of people actually inside eating .can't rate the food or drink as we never got to sample anything , 2nd and last time for us to not eat here !

Our first time in Saundersfoot. Went out on both nights, the first restaurant just up the road from this place was incredible and now this different style of restaurant was also to a high standard. Great staff and great food. The King Prawn linguine tasted soooo good and wasn't stingy on the portion. Highly recommend the King Prawn chilli linguine - Big and small prawns with a nice tasty sauce!

Booked, arrived bang on time, asked to wait as table not ready. She then sat 3 couples straight way, we were at the bar less than 5 feet away, when the other half pointed it out, the rude front of house lass said they were booked before you, (so they were late), and then she said she'd forgotten about us. Not a good start, other half wanted to leave but I said give it a try, waiter was friendly, my linguine tasted good but small, her mediterranean salad was awful. Will not be going back.

Went here with family, lovely atmosphere and good portions for the money paid. We were sat near the back doors which was a bit breezy with staff and customers coming in and out however everyone was really nice to shut it and it wasn't cold or effect the evening. Foods range from pasta to burgers so there was something for everyone. Kids portions are huge and come with a free small scoop of ice cream. It is small, however as a free gesture it's a nice touch and it was thick ice cream so much wasn't needed. Cocktails are about what you'd pay in other places and are fantastic and presented well. Beers and ciders also well priced. Booking is recommended, we booked 3 months in advance for a party of 8. There is seating out the front but not much so on a nice day you'll be lucky to get a seat. Definitely worth a visit.

My husband dog and myself Went for an evening meal in the Boat House the meals were amazing service excellent one thing they were so big the portions we could not eat it all but the flavour was exceptional

Excellent, dog friendly, bar / restaurant. Much bigger than it looks from the front, has a quality look and feel to it and a courtyard beer garden to the rear. Staff were really friendly and attentive, the food was very good and the prices are reasonable, given the location.

First time in saundersfoot, stopped in for some lunch and was very impressed. Fantastic quick service even during a busy period, had the carbonara which was outstanding. Cheese and ham ciabatta was lovely too. Would defiantly return.

This was a very average restaurant with some inattentive staff. The food (Classico burger) was similar to a Wetherspoons standard and lacked in flavour. The atmosphere was dull, even though it was relatively busy. It’s a shame as we were recommended this restaurant, safe to say we won’t be heading back quickly!

Very average place. Stopped in for a burger after walking from Tenby. Had the Chicken Classico which was very basic and quite dry. It had some undercooked bacon and was fairly flavourless. Staff were inattentive and did not create a positive atmosphere as they were more interested in socialising with each other. We had empty plates and drinks for around 10 minutes at the end of our meal without any service from the staff. Overall, would not visit again!

Our go too every time we visit Pembrokeshire. Food is hearty and delicious. Cocktails are definitely recommended. Friendly staff that just can’t do enough for you.

Amazing food and excellent service

Booked a table for 7 people for a family get together, sadly the music was so loud we had to shout to be heard by the person sitting in the next seat, having a family conversation was impossible. I know there was live music at the bar but did they have to have the restaurant speakers on full volumn? Wouldn't have been so bad if the act had been good! They were mediocre at best.

10/10! we go here every year on holiday.. the lady who is pregnant.. needs a raise .. we see her every year she's so good with the customers

Food was fantastic, it took longer than expected to order our drinks at around 30 minutes. Service was fantastic once they had saw us, and they were good with children. We did disagree with the toilet policy however, as a lady came in with a toddler desperate to use the toilet, to which she was told it was customers only. The young child then started to cry as they were so desperate. We understand the rule but I think this is a prime example where discretion could be used.

Went out in the evening for dinner, I had the Italiano chicken melt and it was so delicious! and we had a great time the food was delicious and the waiters were kind! Definitely worth a visit!

We had an afternoon lunch, Halloumi fries, followed by an amazing beer battered Cod, fresher then anything the tartar sauce was beautiful aswel, i would have been happy with that but mom offered to get puddings and im so glad we did the raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake was heavenly. Staff are friendly and more than happy to help, we told john the chef how delicious the food was, we are going back in August for our next visit and looking forward to it. Thank you

Had a very pleasant 60th yesterday. Food was good without being sensational. Service was superb and the beer's good!

Seated very quickly but lots of people waiting to be seated and seemed understaffed.... I will say food was absolutely fantastic, loved the meal, would return.

Food was excellent and super yummy. My only frustration was that I was seated near the entrance (which was requested to be away from) and customers frequently left the door wide open, I had to get up 3 times to close it. Either need a door closer fitted or staff should be more attentive so customers are not left in a draft with their food going cold. I would recommend a visit for the food. We had the sharing platter which wasn’t bad at just over £60 - boxed the left overs for the next day. Yummy!

Excellent food...staff great....food can take a bit longer if place busy...but well worth the wait. We had a big family party for Easter and everyone loved their food, it was delicious and the vegan curry was superb.

Really good food. Good selection of food and drinks. Would advise to reserve in advance as the restaurant does get busy! Will definitely visit again as those burgers looked absolutely delicious.

Came here for a Sunday lunch. Fantastic roast - just everything was very tasty with garlic potatoes, chicken and swede mash on the side. Very very good would deffo recommend.

We have been trying to go here for a while. We managed to get a table for mothers day 😀 . It was fantastic the service was second to none, all the staff had a smile and very helpful. The food was delicious, 3 sunday roast one fish and chips. The portion sizes are very filling, as you can see from the pictures. It's definitely a must place to eat, so book it ASAP. We are going back and back for more.

Just got back from our night out at the boat house and had a fab time. I had the pulled pork burger with the upgraded sweet potato fries which was absolutely amazing. The service was great from multiple different staff. We aren't from saunderfoot but next time we come back, we will be going here again for the ultimate sharer meal!

It was ok, I was expecting better. The food was ok but run of the mill, we went for the lasagne and if I'm honest it was a small portion and i can make better at home, I did like the dressing on the salad though. The service was pretty slow, i had to go to the bar to order drinks and I was told to go back to my table and someone would be with me, yet I still had to wait. Did find it quite expensive for what we had. Plus there was guests there that obviously work there that brought their children in and they just let the children run riot, they were kicking the furniture, throwing themselves on the floor and screaming, someone came from the kitchen giving them ice creams but yet everyone just let them carry on screaming. It was really noisy there. It was decent enough but probably wont return.

Food was good - quality and portion. Service could have been quicker. It took just over 30-minutes to order food after being seated.

Absolutely banging food, the burgers are some of the best ive ever had. Lovely place aswell and the service is very good. Could do with a selection of sauces to dunk chips in to. Will definitely be going there again. Big ol meaty next 😁

Been here multiple times and it's lovely every time. The food is great and the staff are lovely. Recently I went with my family and one person had a soya allergy and they were really helpful and were able to tell us quickly if the dish they were interested in had soya or not. I will definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

Really fantastic service and food- Holly our waitress was particularly accommodating of one of the party with gluten / dairy free needs which was really appreciated. Roast dinner the rest of us had was exceptionally good! Will definitely return!

Has been the first time I've been since lockdown and is still my favorite place to eat, still efficient, great service and amazing food at a reasonable price! Had the leaning tower of pizza burger.. thing for mains, chilli prawns to start. Both were flawless. I do want to go back and try that sharing platter though! Looks amazing!

We had a wonderful Saturday night at the boathouse for our friends 30th birthday. The food was faultless and the portion sizes are more than generous. The staff were friendly and accomidating. Will definitely return!

Great friday evening at the boathouse. The burger was amazing, one of the best I've had. The staff was brilliant with great service and making sure we had everything we needed. The connections band was playing and were brilliant, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend the boathouse, and I will be back!

What a gem of a place , food amazing really big portions and very tasty.staff very friendly and helpful, surf and turf was gorgeous, lasagna was lush and fish was more like whale 😆 would highly recommend.

Easy food and drink place in the center of Saunders foot. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Ordered a burger and loaded nachos with some drinks. The nachos were banging and the portion was generous, however, the vegan burger could have been better, it was a little dry, might have been better if they added relish or some other sauce.

Massive portion size! Ordered the fully loaded vegan nachos as a main for £15 - would definitely feed 2. Delicious, but felt it needed a kick from jalapenos and something cooling like a vegan sour cream. Wasn't labelled as vegan on the menu, only noticed it as someone else in the group read the description. Friendly service and dog friendly too 🙂

Had a drink tonight but seemed a bit of an ordeal and confusing for staff involved. Returned later on as band was on and despite seats available a lady front of house told us they were too busy and couldn't accommodate us even for a drink outside. I don't know how this place will survive the winter.

Just been to The Boat House for the first time and cannot recommend it highly enough. My husband had the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection with what looked like triple cooked chips, delicious. I had the salmon special with linguine, I didn’t want it to end. I always judge a place by the toilets and theirs were impeccable. If you want good food this is the place. We dined in.

My wife and I came here with our children for a bit to eat. We were welcomed from the second we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were very professional. Can't wait to come back again. 5 star service

Absolutely amazing food, best carbonara I have ever had, fish and chips was huge and the curry looked amazing. everyone in our party enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Would recommend this as a great place to eat, tables were clean and none of those sticky tables you get, toilets were also clean and well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful and they had no issues helping accommodate allergies.

Can't fault the food,the staff were great a bit disappointed we wasn't told they'd be a live artist performing.we couldn't hear ourselves speak and the drunken old women on the table opposite 🙈🙈

Had to wait several minutes at the reception desk although the staff at the bar saw us and didn't have any guests. Not a good start. However, the good was delicious and the portions really big - too big. The waiting staff was nice and attentive. Would have given 5 points if the start would have been better.

We were on holidays in Saundersfoot from Ireland this week and enjoyed dinner twice at the boathouse during our stay with our two little boys. The food was delicious and there was a great choice! Special mention to Kaitlyn , we were so lucky to have her as our server on both nights. She was so cheerful , friendly and helpful.

Our visit today was a 10/10 ! Staff were incredible, the service was perfect we were seen to very quickly and Our food was amazing too. We did notice that the staff weren’t being spoken too very nicely by another table near us ( they were rude for no reason at all) but the staff handled it very well and remained very polite and friendly. We will Definitely be back !!

Delightful burger, great staff, ideal location. Saundersfoot does get extremely busy in the summer months, so be aware that you may have the pre-book. The BoatHouse usually has live music on at night, so it's a great place to go for food/drinks/entertainment.

Where to start! They were nice and quick to come and collect the drinks orders. Drinks arrived 5 minutes after we ordered!We pre ordered the food as we had booked a table for 10, but we had to order at the time for the kids menu. The food took 20 minutes to arrive from the moment we decided on the kids meals. The toilets are evidently cleaned regularly based on the immaculate state of them. They are not particularly spacious, but there is enough room. I had the Blue Cheese Burger, and couldn't finish it because it was soooo biiiig. With the children's menu, you get a free scoop of chocolate ice cream, which they loved 😁 Service was amazing! Would definitely come again!
