The best restaurants in Newport South Wales

Food is what you expect from mcdonalds, the staff were also polite. My only gripe would be that the staff don't enforce disabled parking with those who have no blue badge. Having one leg, I need the space to open my door fully.

Under new management, and very good at serving the multiple variations of stuffed baguettes. Salads are always freshly prepared.

burger greasy and had sauce we didnt ask for, chips were stale reheats, pie was so stale, top was so hard, cant imagine how many times it was reheated, strong odour from it, wont be ordering again

Food took ages. Ordered soup and a noodle box. Noodles were soggy, sauce was jelly and the meat was chewy and basically inedible. I ended paying £16 for soup as the restaurant made it very awkward trying to get a refund asking to call back although I had contacted twice. This is the first and last time I will ever use this restaurant.

Great food comes nice and hot and within 25mins there were knocking my door with the meal great service.

I order food they told me half hour then about 45 minutes later I rang up asking about my food and where it was and they rang the driver and I could here him on loud speaker saying he will have to wait as I have 5 deliveries in the car and had been out in the car for 15 mins before I even rang then when I did receive my food he decided to give HIMSELF a tip of 50 p

Excellent venue for events, I can't comment on the rooms, service or the food as I set up for a party but the staff were very friendly. It has a split level stage area lost if seating.

Ok for a breakfast on the go but crazy when a supermarket cafe says the don't have any red or brown sauce in their cafe. "We haven't had our delivery" - there's a supermarket with a shelf for of sauces 😡😩 - bonkers !!!

Firstly I would like to say that the staff are very friendly. However, the food was sub standard. The chips were inedible. Very overdone and devoid of any potato. The beef brisket sandwich very small and bland. The signature burger again overdone and not worth the money. A few pence less than a burger at The Grill at The Celtic Manor which was superb. To top it off my grandson was sick after having the children’s sausage and chips. Didn’t expect anything more than pub chain food but this was very poor.This place has sadly gone downhill.

Food was good, service excellent and enjoyed my meal and Guinness there.

We use the otter a lot for lunch maybe once or twice a week, always have a very nice lunch and always treated well. It is always clean and the Christmas grotto look really good.

DO NOT dine at THE OLIVE TREE , we went there two weeks ago and was charged twice for our meals I have have rang them numerous amount of times but unfortunately this still hasn't been sorted even though I have given proof of this happening. I have spoke to the accounts department numerous times also but to be honest they are USELESS they keep saying ohh I do apologise we will get this sorted but I'm still waiting for it to be sorted 2 WEEKS ON ,I have tried to get hold of the olive tree direct but that is proving to be impossible. Be very CAREFULL. ... . TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES.

Fantastic dinner for two at The Grill. Perfectly cooked half roast chicken and cod. Nice and hot, fresh and great service from Raz.

Fantastic food and service yet again! Lovely evening catching up with family. Service great as so the food! Chicken Nachos to die for😊
