Ordered some platters for an event. Fantastic service, fresh food and delicious. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t have done anymore to make sure I had everything. Thank you to Tanya and the team for great service. Will definitely be back.

Friendly service , fresh food good atmosphere

Came back today and was served by Alisha, really professional and friendly, happy to answer any questions we had. Food was made exactly how we like it and Alisha created a lovely atmosphere - we’ll be back soon!

It was a really quiet space and I had a really fun time

We come to this Subway most Sundays and are always given a warm welcome by Julie. Store is immaculate, food is fresh and we never feel rushed. Whilst we have been on other days when there are other staff serving; the service doesn’t come close to that which we receive of Julie and we no longer come on days that she is not in for this reason.

Staff needs more training definitely. Don't know if they have a promotion running or not having to check on tik tok.

This subway is the best subway to go to the staff are super friendly and helpful and the shop is also super clean its well looked after and the food is really good and fresh I would recommend going 👍

Always lovely tasty food here in high street, pleasant staff

Spent nearly £40 and was VERY disappointed. Was missing items in the food, food arrived BALTIC, as cold as the North Pole. Nachos were basically just dorito crisp, took me a while to find any cheese and sauce . Just awful, will avoid from now on.

Absolutely shocking. Ordered salad didnt receive the chicken then when i called to tell them they put the phone down on me. Never again will i order from them . If i could give 0 i would . Biggest waste of money ever. Rude staff and management

4 stars for the service alone the food is messy and not prepared well so for that I give them 1 star less

The staff are friendly enough but on multiple occasions I have visited at around 9pm and they have already started closing up and putting things away. Never any meatballs available. Why advertise that you are open until 10pm but take half the fillings/ stock away an hour before close? The last time I visited they failed to scan my reward card properly and my points didn't register.

Ordered on the app in advance for collection. When we arrived, our order wasn't ready and was blamed on the fact that their orders don't always come through in bad weather! I could accept this if it was a monsoon or hurricane but it was only drizzling slightly and it's not the first time this location has claimed not to have received an order made on the app. Our subs were made there and then which defeats the object of ordering on the app. The subs were adequate at best - falling apart as they were picked up and the hash browns were cold and dry as dust. Definitely not worth the money. I enjoy a Subway but will be avoiding this branch in future.

Visited the store today and I must say Julie was fantastic, the enthusiasm and professional manner in which she addressed me caught me completely off guard. I only popped in for some Natchos and felt like I was ordering steak at the Celtic Manor, this woman needs a raise or a new role training staff. She clearly loves her job and her passion is infectious, I will certainly be back soon.

I'm a disabled person on crutches, and every time I call in the staff are very friendly, and they were very helpful, even though they were having a lot of phone orders, they still had a smile on their faces, and took my order, and told me to sit down, until the order was ready and all I had to do is pay for my order, and they even opened the door for me, I can't recommend the service enough. The store is Unit 2 Cardiff Road. Newport. I hope this can be forwarded to the staff please.

Amazing food, healthy and delicious but some of them are not that healthy but if its the weekend or Friday no one is stopping you! Really nice recommend it.

Ordered food for delivery, food was delivered but burnt beyond belief. I can't believe anyone would send out food that bad... Contacted store, Assistant Manager was not prepared to do anything, would not give his full name, was unable to give me the full name of his Manager or any complaints email/phone numbers. I was told they could not resend my food and I would have to chase Just Eat. He also dropped his co-worker in it by telling me he isn't very good and often gets complaints. With friends like that who needs enemies?? To top it off he then hung up.....

In my opinion Subway is one of the best places to eat, specially if you want to treat yourself when you haven't cooked any food at home :)) Fair price, great flavour, pretty quick.

Popped in for lunch ...3 ladies serving all doing just eat orders. I'm patient but not one said sorry for the wait , we were totally ignored whilst they chatted between themselves. I believe the older blonde haired lady is some form of team leader. Well I suggest you and your 2 other staff one blonde lady and a brown haired lady go on a costumer satisfaction course because you let the name subway down.

I ordered a meatless meatball sub, what I was given was clearly a real meat meatball sub. As I know the difference I have had the meatless many times, what I was given was foul and left me feeling physically sick. I will never get food from there again.

So my partner and I order form here quite regularly purely because it’s the closet place to our house for a salad (I calorie count so it’s the best filling low calorie option). I don’t know why we keep ordering though, every single time there is something wrong. I don’t normally leave reviews or complain but it’s getting ridiculous. Ordered today on the Uber eats app, one salad box and one foot long meal deal. I ordered myself a Pepsi Max cherry as well. Order comes and not only am I missing the Pepsi Max cherry bottle but my salad looks like it’s missing half the ingredients. It was half empty and I like everything bar olives in my salad so it’s usually pretty full looking. Just so so disappointed. Not going to order for a long while because there’s always something wrong! Such a shame. Rated it 2 starts purely because the food always tastes nice, nothing wrong with the taste etc. Jsut how it’s put together and bagged up wrong.

I enjoy subway food and visit various shops on my travels, This one is outstanding for customer service friendly staff and delicious food, thankyou I will be a regular from now on

2 ladies working this evening, Tuesday 23/2/2021. The one lady not the girl with dark hair but the other lady that served us tonight was very rude no smile & it seemed she couldn’t wait to get rid of us, her customers service was vile :( & we use this subway often, not no more.

Fresh and tasty salad. Staff were attentive and were following Covid measures strictly. Beautifully referbishment too.

I ordered last night using the just eat app and our order came wrong. No cheese on any of the sandwiches (some of us being vegitarian that was important) and missing cookies that we had paid for. When we called to complain the employee on at the time (19:00, 3/7/2020) told us to hurry up when looking for the order number, said we called the wrong store and they didn't have our order logged, then hung up on us. We reported this to just eat and got credit for our meals back. Today we called subway again (12:40) to report that employee and had the pleasure of dealing with moe, who apologised and even hand delivered us some food. Before speaking with moe we had no intention of using cardiff road subway again, but now we absolutely will. Thanks again moe, you're the man! I hope your employers recognise your amazing customer service.

Plenty of parking on the Saturday we stopped here. Not too crazy busy like some others. Friendly staff and quick with the food creations. My wife loved her salad and I tried the new pepperoni pizza sub with suggested toppings. Was brill. Well worth a go if you like a spicy lunch. Spicy spicy (say it with an old Italian accent). Would recommend.

Nice large Subway store that’s clean and modern with plenty of space for seating. Toilet was clean as well which is always a relief!

Small number of parking spaces out the front of this Subway. Great selection of lunch time foods. Coffee was lovely. Staff are friendly and efficient. Like the fresh ingredients being on show in the fridge. Would recommend.

Lovely fresh lunchtime bread roll with choice of fillings, nice cold soft drink, good choice too. Rolls toasted if required.

No matter what your taste, you can find it at this Subway. Very pleasantly surprised. Staff very friendly and eating area looked clean. Would recommend this place highly
