Food arrived almost two hours late… the quality of the meals we ordered was appalling

Really disappointed. Have ordered from here before and the food is normally fresh and tasty, they always seem to mess my drinks order up though. Food tasted like it had been reheated and was lukewarm at best. Delivery time kept getting pushed back so I’m assuming there was an issue with getting a driver. They Sent cheesecake instead of a chocolate fudge cake, a bit of curtesy to let me know there had been a change in the order wouldn’t have hurt. Will never order from here again!

Appalling attitude from staff. Avoid like the plague.

Chips could have been fresher and less like crisps also Irish curry thicker tbh. But it was edible fish was lovely so were the mushrooms.

chips and nuggets looked and tasted like they'd been cooked yesterday and re warmed today. only thing that was edible and tasted good was the sausage in batter.

Prices have risen a large fish and chips is a medium at best.

Took 30 monutes to get from restaurants to me... its less than 6 miles! Great food but shocking delivery!

Ordered chips cheese and beans and the beans were cold so made everything else cold. And I don’t mean cold from the journey between the chip shop and my house I mean like straight out of the tin cold.

It took over two hours for a delivery of two fish and chips. Arrived nigh on cold. Shocking service, poor quality of food. I will not be using this establishment again. Suggest no one does.

Delivery time kept changing to later and later, I ordered at 7:33 and it got delivered 9:03 which was a really long wait. When received order the chips were really over cooked, dark brown in colour and really soggy. Actually very disappointed with my order and probably won’t order from here again. Sausage and fish cake was lovely though.

lovely food, no complaints with that but didn't receive the cheesecake. That is 2 items missing from my last 2 orders. 1 monster n 1 cheesecake. no refunds given. Sort this out please before you lose a loyal customer!!

The most revolting steak and kidney pie, ihave ever tasted!!!!

chicken curry meal deal was lovely but I paid for 2 cans of monster but only received 1. I rang them but no answer. Food was really nice though

Chips were all different sizes so cooked differently, battered sausages weren't great quality, food was a little cold even though it wasn't far to us. The curry sauce was nice. Wouldn't rush to order again from here unfortunately.

ordered x2 pineapple fritter but only had 1 with an apology they was out of stock and given x2 battered sausages with x1 pineapple fitter. Fish bites was lovely and fresh too, only thing I would say was that the large chip portion ordered was really small.

restaurant service and quality was amazing,,beautiful food but the person responsible for delivery seriously lacks customer service skills, shoving the food in the face of a customer while on the phone to your mates then give the middle finger when questioned is unacceptable, especially when I have camera footage

Food wasn't very hot considering they are less than 5 minutes away. Ordered two large sausages and they sent two sausages covered in what I think was supposed to be batter. Definitely wasn't batter 😕

Food was delivered hot but we paid for large fish and chips and it was small portions, there was more batter than fish

The Chippy - 3 Stars We decided to try The Chippy as our regular place was closed, and while the staff were pleasant and the shop itself was clean and welcoming, the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered chips, hot curry sauce, jumbo sausage, and fish bites. Unfortunately, we received mild curry sauce instead of hot, and it was quite watery with an odd, almost earthy taste. The fish bites were also disappointing — they were full of bones, which was especially frustrating as we’d ordered them for our young son who was present with us. They had a slightly muddy taste as well. The chips were okay, but nothing special, and a bit soggy. Overall, we were let down by the quality and won’t be returning. Hopefully it's just an unfortunate 'off' night for them.

Missing a drink and the food was a mess when it arrived in the bag

the problem is they wrote on the chips cheese and gravy that the graveyard wasn't too fresh, so the substitute with curry sauce, I don't even like curry sauce, why didn't they call me as they'll have my number through just eat, poor customer service, replacing with something I dont like

ive ordered from this chippy before they have always been decent but today the chips i ordered wete absolutely gorgeous. they definitely worth a special mention its been a long time since ive had chips as perfect as that.

burger greasy and had sauce we didnt ask for, chips were stale reheats, pie was so stale, top was so hard, cant imagine how many times it was reheated, strong odour from it, wont be ordering again

delivery driver gave us the wrong food, I walked my food back to the shop who point blank refused to swap it over and replace it with a fresh correct order, just told me to message just eat to get a refund

Nice chips but the cheeseburgers we ordered were plastered in mayonnaise, couldn’t even taste the cheese. Avoid.

Best cheese chips and garlic sauce had in a long time

Chips were not fresh they were like cardboard and the batter on the sausage was stale

No issue at all with the courier but the restaurant took ages to prepare the order and ended up with two meals missing their chips! So disappointed with the service and won’t be ordering from again.

all decent, but the jalapenos were falling apart and were mixed in with some chicken nuggets instead of full portion of jalapenos. tasty though, hot and on time, so can't complain

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered online, two cod and chips, mushy peas, Irish curry sauce and tartare sauce. The fish portions were tiny, barely filled a side plate. The curry sauce was watered down to actual water and tasted of nothing, and the tartare sauce was garlic bloody mayo. Not what you want to be spending your hard earned cash in after a hard day. Also tried calling the restaurant multiple times but no answer. Not an actual restaurant. Can’t give less than one star or I would.

Got delivery today but the chips were half burnt and crispy, tasted strongly of fish, very very small portions. This has never happened before from this chippy but I have been left disappointed.

The food is stone cold and I ordered a large bag of chips of got what I’d say is less than a small bag, it seems like they have put one tray of chips in here. Not happy with this at all especially after paying the money for it

Driver went the wrong way which made the food cold. Asked for meal deal 3 which is half a chicken and rice and this isn’t the first time they’ve given us chicken curry and the food tastes horrible. Please avoid

I just ordered from you guys and the chips were so bad. They were either too hard or not cooked properly inside. Also ordered the curry butty and there’s wasn’t no curry just a small bun with really hard chips and not cooked inside properly. This is absolutely shocking it’s just chips, shouldn’t that be what you do best? this is your main dish as a chippy. Honestly I am shocked. Hope you guys take this feedback for future customers and for the longevity of your business .

Ordered food from there via just eat. 2nd time this has happened. Ordered half a chicken breast and rice an got a spicy chicken curry. Rang them up and even after calling 7 times no one picks up because they know they’ve messed up and won’t deal with customers. PLEASE STAY AWAY AN SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE. DISGUSTING PLACE

Why are chips in polystyrene cartons?? Were always in paper hence why we ordered, chops have always and should always be in paper. Also the pastie was inedible due to it being deep fried!! It was solid and covered in grease. Definitely not the usual standard guys. Please sort.
