Great Service & great food. It’s my go to place if I ever want food late at night. Place is clean every time I come here and the staff are great here. Would recommend.

My favourite gyros kebab in Newport, super tasty pepperoni paprika I always get extra for free. You wait less than 3 minutes for your meal, delivery is fast as well. RECCOMEND!

I love their pizzas ,I prefer theirs to dominoes and papa Johns,the delivery drivers are polite and staff taking the calls have always been polite,my friend is happy with the chicken strips with chips/drink offer,I like to add my own onions /mushrooms on top of the cheese pizza,buy one get one free we eat the other pizza the day after,we are two happy customers .

The food was average and mediocre... also watch your change and what they charge you. They will rip you off if they can.

When this place first opened, it was the best kebab house in Newport. Once I tasted their food, I never went to any other kebab house. That said, I recently ordered something and found something nasty in my salad that put me off going back. It looked very much like a mouthful of snotty spit in the lettuce. It was stringy like transparent snot. My GF said it's probably what happens if they leave salad in water for a long period and then serve it so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. But I'm not sure I can stop thinking about the possibility of someone spitting in the food.

(🤬🤬🤬 TRUE STORY) Apart from a previous creepy delivery driver trying to fondle my fiancee hand cctv to prove at the door and sending inappropriate messages all logged then later stating he sent them to the wrong person after we called management complaing, diamond grill and all other associated grills in newport gwent Id highly recommend you avoid at all cost and spend your hard earned money elsewhere, even in their updated menu after doing the research it doesn't state an additional delivery fee of £1 even in small print absolute scam🤬 learn a lesson from me completely free and and save you money you are very welcome 👍

We have been loyal regular customers for several years, also as I have a gluten Intolerance. Tonights order, can after hour and 15 minutes, all items cold, my mixed shish had garlic sauce after asking for chilli, was more like a small, as portion size very limited. Phoned to complain and told, 'Everyone is the same, we are busy' and put the phone down. I've also got a reaction to gluten, so some cross contamination somewhere. Don't treat your regulars like crap.

I order food for my son every weekend from here he loves it eats it all first class customer service great food to Joyce Close and just to say the young lad who has often turned up to deliver is so well mannered and very polite is a credit to you can't rate this place highly enough see you next week guys thanks 👍

I have been using diamond grill for at least 5-6 yrs with no problem...ordered tonight a large mixed kebab....this was absolutely terrible, I ordered a large kebab but have had larger small kebabs, there was 3 strips of lamb donner and a handful of chicken donner if that... There was hardly any meat at all and and very disappointing...i phoned to let them know and they weren't interested..., usually this is a good place to order from but after this i won't order again...definitely not value for money foe £7.80 and they're now not interested ...don't bother go somewhere else !!

Place has really gone uphill the last year, consistently great food with really friendly staff. Their lamb and chicken meat is always really tasty and the salad is really good as well. Good portions and free delivery over £7 you can't complain.

Ordered lamb doner kebabs from here yesterday the whole family are suffering from food poisoning will never order from here again and definitely do not recommend.

Order from here all the time they have Gone down Hill. Have not been getting our full orders,! Multiple Times and today they want swap the kebab I didn't ask for!

I moved into a new house a year ago and have been ordering food regularly from here. Lately they have been messing my wife's food up everytime but we didn't complain. Tonight I called when I got home to tell them what was missing and they basically called me a liar on the phone and hadn't made that meal. I drove back there with my receipt only to have a salad and the sauces tossed into a carton to take home to my wife's now cold food. That's me done, won't go here again. Worst thing is the guy telling me he hasn't made that order was the guy who cooked it.

Medium chicken shish kebab, 4 pieces of chicken and what looked like a whole onion! Not a medium portion in my opinion. Very disappointed and still hungry

Ordered a diamond grill specail. Arrived minus the nan bread. Bread arrived 30 minutes later. Opened box to see the meat inside had gone cold and was covered in a thick yellow grease. Did try and eat some lamb, but was not edible like eating a rubber ball. Total waste of money it ended up in bin.

Worst kebab I've ever had. We had two large shish kebabs and the 'lamb' was inedible. Every piece was like chewing rubber. I don't know what meat it was but it was nothing like any lamb I've ever tasted. Never go there again.

I buy regular pizza's from here for myself very quick delivery but more and more now pizza's arrive with black uneatable burnt crusts basically way over cooked so I will try different seller for my pizza now

Food was ok but ordered a lamb doner for my partner and we recieved a mixed doner the chicken makes her feel physically sick hense the order of just lamb, seeing chicken aswell put her off the whole meal completely so a waste of money for us really. Cant see us ordering from here again.

Changing my rating. Diamond Grill have stepped up their game over the last year, and as such are now one of my preferred kebab shops to visit.

Me and my family is new customers and we had our delivery come and they forgot the bottle of pop for the kids not happy at all as had to explain to my kids about them not having their pop with there food and they started crying so the driver have gone back to get it but we should not have to pay for it when it is there mistake

Absolutely VILE! Food used to be nice now gone down hill sent out black pizza,cheese was that dry it tasted like stiff burnt cardboard..rang up and they refused to replace it, running his mouth down the phone. Defo never ordering from here again. #BadService!!!!

Terrible overpriced place !!! guy at the front cant even speak SIMPLE english ... charged me 7.20 for xl kebab with barely any chips. I recommend you guys avoid this place unless you wana have a terrible night ahead ..

I've come back a few times over the last year and am pleased to say that a generous portion of salad has been added each time. I can also recommend the chicken shish skewers cooked to order over the grill - my family also rate the chips! Home delivery is also offered.

Ordered large donner and chips with a pot of mayo, tasted really nice, meat was very well cooked, i was pleased! But i didnt get a pot of mayo instead barbecue sauce, also i asked the delivery driver to call once he was outside as i live in a flat and my mistake i gave the wromg number to which i comtacted the restaurant and gave the correct number. When the driver delivered my food he had one hell of an attitude towards me at my own front door telling me how he had been trying to call and that he was waiting for half an hour, very unimpressed and angry! Customer service is very very poor.

Very sparse on the doner meat portion felt I got ripped off

Tried this grill for the first time as it's nearer than the one we normally go to in central Newport. We had lamb and chicken doner kebabs (pizzas and burgers are also on the menu) and we were pleased with the quality. Portions were a reasonable size although could have been a bit more generous with the salad.

Been a long time fan of this place. Tasty shish, loads of salad and good service. Use regularly. Sadly though, we've just had a shocker. Overcooked, stingy amount of chicken, skimping on the salad and portion size less than half of what they used to serve. Sort it out, guys. One more chance and if that's not back to standard, I'm gone.

My husband always uses this place as he loves it all ... they have a varied menu such as burgers kebabs pizzas salad the lot ... it's always clean and fresh food ... delivery is always on time never anything missing .. really can't fault this place it's a must if you've not been before .

After having the wrong food delivered, had to wait for a further 45 mins for right order , no apology not even a free can of coke , food was also spread out to look like a large when in fact it was a small in a large tray

Amazing and always friendly staff, great portions of food and excellent quality. The meat is always fresh. Prices are low. One of our favourites is the Diamond Special that comes with salad and chicken and beef shish, chicken and lamb kebab, etc. Massive portion! My husband is a meat lover and even the two of us can't finish it in one go. The pastry of their pizzas is also excellent. We are regular guests at the shop and have never had any problem with any of the food ordered from them.

When I have ordered in the past you always had 2 sausages when you ordered sausage and chips now you get 1 poor value for your money and especially as they don't do fried chicken only chicken strips now doubt if I will order from here again

Delivery was late only by 10 minuites The kebab didn't taste very nice We left it , the mushrooms didn't taste to grand and the popcorn chicken was hard most of food was Untouched appart from a try the only plus the burger which was nice so we shared a burger for dinner bit disappointed

Ordered chips to be wrapped in paper, received in a polystyrene container. Ordered half pounder with red cabbage and cheese only, received full salad and cheese. Ordered milkshake, missing from the order. Gravy, correct. Called to chase missing milkshake, told would send but never arrived.

Food was nice. Was meant to have a bottle of coke but upon delivery was given a Pepsi. Was told because they didn't have anymore coke. That would be fine but i wasn't notified before I received what I ordered.

Chicken was overdone everything else was great. Will say however I've never had a complaint before and in the grand scheme of things it wasn't the end of the world. I still rate these as one of the best takeaways in Newport!
